We're at SCD's Secret Meet where it's absolute hypercar overload, what a place to be!The SupercarDriver Secret Meet never fails to impress, and now taking place at Silverstone for the first time, the paddock is absolutely overloaded with incredible hypercars; a flurry of Aston Martin Valkyries, multiple LaFerrari Apertas, endless Bugattis including a Centodieci, P1s, 918 Spyders, Singers, the Sesto Elemento, some One-77s, basically anything you can think of!However, today we're talking about the World Record Bugattis from The Singh Collection; the Chiron Super Sport 300+, one of only 30 to celebrate the 304.77mph record; then we have both the Veyron Super Sport WRE that hit 268mph and the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse WRC that can reach 254mph. It's Brescia to Rome and back in my Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series, 1,000 miles chasing the classics across Italy, retracing legendary steps. What an experience!The Mille Miglia ran from 1927 to 1957 and at the time was one of the absolute pinnacle events of the motorsport calendar; with the most famous record set by the late Sir Stirling Moss in the 300 SLR "722" back in 1955, a record that stood and has boggled ever since. The modern tribute event takes place on the same route from Brescia in the north to the Italian capital, with approximately 500 classic and vintage cars taking part, along with over 100 participants in the Ferrari Tribute, a number of entries to 1000 Miglia Green, and now also the 1000 Miglia Experience for contemporary sports and supercars.Having driven an icon in the form of the 300SL Gullwing on the event back in 2018, this time around it had to be my SLS AMG Black Series; the modern take on a gullwing door equipped Mercedes - albeit quickly becoming a classic itself at over 10 years old. REUNITED with THIS Legendary McLaren P1! Shmee150 2024-06-01 | The star of JK Whips' epic collection is the legendary McLaren P1 in Cerberus Pearl! Justin's garage also features a familiar Ford GT, previously owned by Graham Rahal, that was built alongside mine at the factory. I can't believe we're reunited with both of these!Back in 2014, I met up with CJ Wilson to film his then brand new McLaren P1 is this crazy iridescent paintwork, named Cerberus Pearl. That opportunity is something I've truly appreciated ever since, and having briefly bumped into Justin of JK Whips at Car Week, we couldn't make a stop in Texas and not visit to catch up and see it again.However, that's not all, because back in late 2018 when I visited my Ford GT being built in Canada, there was a special car on the line next to it - a car that I then rode onboard in summer 2019 with its own, IndyCar driver Graham Rahal. However, fast forward, and it lives now with its second owner, and therefore a third location where these cars have physically been together.There's even more to take in though in Justin's collection; a Napier Green scooped 675LT, straight pipe Porsche Carrera GT, a recently acquired Ferrari F12tdf joining a 430 16M, his first car after college, his Dad's high-school Camaro, and much more. SPEC REVEAL! This is My Next FERRARI Shmeemobile Shmee150 2024-05-28 | It's time to reveal the spec for the next Ferrari that's joining the Shmeemobiles! My collection of cars from Maranello is quickly growing, and today I'm at Ferrari of Austin in Texas to reveal the options I've chosen for the next arrival. I can't wait for this car, and to see the spec for real!Having announced last year that a Ferrari Roma Spider is joining my collection, it was only a few months ago that I drove one for the first time in Fiuggi, near to Rome. However, I've kept the specification tight lipped and it's now time to reveal exactly what I've gone for in terms of the exterior options, interior details, and all the tech too. The colour is a return to more traditional Shmee150, but one I've seen a few times recently and always really like, so it's a no brainer to choose for this car!--- SPOILERS ---My Roma Spider is to be painted in Ferrari's Blu Corsa; a colour launched with the 488 Spider, and that I've recently seen on a number of occasions including the fabulous Monza SP2 at Adel's Garage. Not only that, but it was also the colour of a Roma Coupe I previously test drove on the Shmee150 channel.Ferrari offer an endless list of options, but my car will be equipped with the 5-twin spoke wheels in silver and matching silver calipers and tailpipes, wearing the Scuderia Shields.On the inside, it's a dual tone mix of Carta da Zucchero and Nero, with Grigio Scuro detailing and stitching/embroidery. we're equipped with the full ADAS package, and to top off the exterior colour, a navy blue soft top.I'm very excited about the spec, a lot of time was spent planning it. NEW HOME of F40 BLU! Tracked Down this Legendary Ferrari F40 Shmee150 2024-05-26 | It's not every day to get behind the wheel of a Ferrari F40, let alone one that previously belonged to a close friend and that I drove on a different continent! I'm with @thegentlemansgarage_ in Texas to be reunited with F40 BLU and take it for a spin. What a collection, and what an epic car!I love a car with a story, and this particular example has lived on 3 different continents, having been in Japan and become a white Liberty Walk car, before it was purchased 10 years ago by my friend @sammooresphoto who was responsible for repainting it at Zanassi in Porsche Aqua Blue to match his 997.2 GT3 RS. I joined Sam for the last drive in the car before he sold it a few years ago, and now we're back as it belongs to Louis out in Houston, Texas.Louis' enthusiasm for the car is unbelievable, and rightly so, it's a special machine and will continue to be used and enjoyed going forwards. RUNNING HOT! Racing My Ford GT at the US F1 Grand Prix Track Shmee150 2024-05-23 | My Ford GT is here at Circuit of the Americas! I've shipped it from the UK to kick start a tour right here at the home of the United States F1, and with the GT1 Sports Club in town, it's the perfect opportunity to get out on track with Hypercar Invitational. What an experience, let's go!Having visited COTA with my AMG GT Black Series in 2022, it was always a plan to get back here with the GT, however with insane Texas temperatures at play, I knew we would run into some potential for overheating issues, and unfortunately that's exactly what happens. Regardless, it's a truly insane place to be driving and really stretching the legs of a permanent Shmeemobile.The GT1 Sports Club by Curbstone events run around the GT World Challenge series, and this is the first time out in the US, with the support of Hypercar Invitational and The Exotics Network. In the paddock we're in an extraordinary line-up that also features Fastrrr's new Apollo IE and Pagani Zonda Revolucion, a Koenigsegg Regera, McLaren Senna, Pagani Huayra BC, McLaren P1, two Bugatti Chiron Super Sports and more.After some fast laps at COTA, the next plan is a parade and photo line-up, with the most insane view as all the hypercars take position on the straight. What a crazy thing to be part of, what a line-up, and what an experience to push my Ford GT out here at COTA - even if it struggles to get many laps down.There are two reasons for this; the first is that the 2017/18 GTs have a different cooling system which was updated for 2019s onwards.
