Though Jabba had a stand-in actor played by Declan Mullholland, the scene was ultimately cut from the final version of the film.In 1997, for the film's special edition re-release, the scene was reinserted with a CGI Jabba the Hutt, as well as Green Screen'ed Boba Fett.The original cut of this scene has never been released in its full form or in high quality. This is an HD Reconstruction created by Garrett Gilchrist (creator of the Classic Editions, and Star Wars: Deleted Magic) which used the 2011 Blu-Ray as a base. This was my first time shooting on film, so my camera work isn't great, but it's a start.The town featured is Spišská Nová Ves and is one of my favorite places in the world. So many great memories were made here that I sometimes have a hard time not dwelling on the good things of the past and looking toward the good things in the future.
