As reporters and aides watched, an employee showed Trump how to dunk baskets of fries in oil, salt the fries and put them into boxes using a scoop. Trump, a well-known fan of fast food and a notorious germophobe, expressed amazement that he didn't have to touch the fries with his hands.
“It requires great expertise, actually, to do it right and to do it fast,” Trump said with a grin, putting away his suit jacket and wearing an apron over his shirt and tie.
The visit came as he's tried to counter Democratic nominee Kamala Harris' accounts on the campaign of working at the fast-food chain while in college, an experience that Trump has claimed — without offering evidence — never happened.

“It is a structural failure. There should be very, very little maintenance to an aluminum gangway like that, but we’ll see what the investigation unfolds,” Georgia Department of Natural Resources Commissioner Walter Rabon said at a news conference.
The gangway was installed in 2021, authorities said.
Rabon said three people remained hospitalized in critical condition from Saturday's collapse.
Rabon said “upwards of 40 people” were on the gangway when the “catastrophic failure” occurred, and at least 20 people fell into the water. The gangway connected an outer dock where people board the ferry to another dock onshore.
The shooting took place near the Student Union on the university's East Campus, according to WALB, the NBC affiliate in Albany. Some of the victims were treated inside the Student Union.
Police said they do not know the motive for the shooting, and a suspect has not been identified at this time, according to preliminary details shared with WALB by Albany Police Chief Michael Persley.
The release said Tommie Lee Alexander, 31, was found dead after being shot sometime on Sunday. The release added that Alexander appeared to have shot himself.
Alexander, according to the release, was a suspect in a shooting that happened around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. A 25 year old woman was found shot on Marble Lane around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. It said she was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

The Democratic nominee addressed comments made by former President Donald Trump about the grieving family of a Georgia mother who died after waiting 20 hours for a hospital to treat her complications from an abortion pill, as she put combating restrictions on reproductive care at the center of her pitch to voters.
She said Saturday that Republican former President Donald Trump was “cruel” for how he talked about Amber Thurman’s death.
At a rally in Atlanta, Harris blamed Thurman’s death on Georgia's abortion restrictions that took effect after the Supreme Court in 2022, with three Trump-appointed justices, overturned Roe v. Wade. It comes as Harris is looking to the issue to propel support to Democrats, who have pledged to restore a national right to abortion if they win the White House and enough seats in Congress.
“Donald Trump still refuses to take accountability, to take any accountability, for the pain and the suffering he has caused," Harris said.
Despite the county still recovering from Helene damage, their election superintendent, Sharon Sellars, said they are seeing a record-high turnout.
"I'm proud that they're open today because I work and when I get home from work, I'm tired,” she said. “I want my voice to count, my vote to count, so this is really a very, very good day to go vote."
Sellars, who hasn't let the hurricane damage deter her, said she's voting on a Saturday because it's more convenient for her than a weekday. However, she's not the only voter who feels this way.
"I don't want to be in a crowd,” Melanie Hutcheson said. “I wanted to go ahead and get it done and so I can just sit there and wait and see what it's going to be, what the election turns out to be like."
Safe Kids Worldwide shares that sentiment and held an event to help parents and guardians keep their kids safe while on the road.
Safe Kids Houston County and Macon-Bibb teamed up with State Farm to host Good Neighbor Car Seat Safety Events in both Warner Robins and Macon on Saturday.
The gave out around 50 car seats to help serve about 40 families at each event. This was in the groups efforts to lower the risk of possible injuries in accidents and car crashes. According to numbers Safe Kids Worldwide put out, car seats reduce the risk of fatal injuries by 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers.
The trio held a "mammogram marathon" on Saturday at the Breast Imaging Center in Milledgeville. They screened over 50 woman at the event all for free.
The "Mammomarathon" was part of a two day event honoring and celebrating the legacy of former WNBA player and Milledgeville native Tasha Butts. Butts, who played for the Minnesota Lynx, was an assistant coach for Georgia Tech and LSU before accepting a job as Georgetown's head coach. She passed away from a two-year battle with breast cancer on Oct. 23, 2023.
Nearly a year later, the community she grew up in celebrated her and continued the fight against breast cancer through the free screenings and Baldwin's first ever mammogram testing.
The annual event, which referred to itself as "the health fair disguised as a beer festival," brings together craft beer enthusiasts and community members for a day of craft beer tastings, food, live music, art vendors and more, all to raise money for prostate health.
The event partnered with Pints for Prostate to raise money for people with prostate cancer. Alongside the 100 varieties of craft beer and wine available, Pints for Prostate helped offer health screening for those there. The main focus is prostate screenings, but also offered tests for cholesterol, glucose levels and more.
According to the event, they set a new national record by providing free prostate screenings to 148 men in one day, which was valued at $133,000 in money saved for screenings.
Multiple people were taken to hospitals, and crews from the U.S. Coast Guard, the McIntosh County Fire Department, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and others were searching the water, according to Natural Resources spokesperson Tyler Jones. The agency operates the dock and ferry boats that transport people between the island and the mainland.
Jones said a gangway at the dock collapsed, sending people plunging into the water.
“There have been seven fatalities confirmed,” Jones said. “There have been multiple people transported to area hospitals, and we are continuing to search the water for individuals.”
Since then, tributes have been pouring in for the Houston County sheriff.
These are some of the reactions from friends, colleagues and admirers, who say Talton was a one-of-a-kind lawman who cared most about serving the community.
Houston County Sheriff candidate and Houston County captain Matt Moulton released a statement that Talton died peacefully Saturday morning at his home. He added that funeral information would be released at a later date. The Georgia Sheriff’s Association announced Thursday that he’d entered hospice care.
"We are deeply saddened to announce that Sheriff H. Cullen Talton, Jr. passed away peacefully this morning at his home," the statement said. "Information regarding funeral services will be provided at a later date. Please keep Sheriff Talton’s family in your thoughts and prayers."
Elected as Houston County Sheriff in 1972, Talton has spent over 50 years as the county’s top law enforcement officer.

The vice president began her day in Grand Rapids before holding events in Lansing and Oakland County, northwest of Detroit.
The former president has his own event in Oakland County in the afternoon before an evening rally in Detroit.
The decision came after a day of attempts to stop the state from carrying out his execution. The Texas Supreme Court added that there's no clear precedent on how to proceed.
It's unclear what will happen in the future, but on Thursday night, Roberson was transferred back to the Polunsky Unit. Officials said when he got the news, Roberson prayed and proclaimed his innocence.
"I had the opportunity to go back there and speak with him," TDCJ Communications Director Amanda Hernandez said. "He was shocked, to say the least. He praised God and he thanked his supporters."
Israeli leaders celebrated his killing as a settling of scores just over a year after Hamas-led militants killed some 1,200 people in Israel and kidnapped 250 others in an attack that stunned the country. They also presented it as a turning point in the campaign to destroy Hamas, urging its fighters to surrender and release some 100 hostages still in Gaza.
“Hamas will no longer rule Gaza. This is the start of the day after Hamas," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
U.S. officials expressed hopes for a cease-fire with Sinwar out of the picture. But eliminating him may not end the devastating war, during which Israel has killed more than 42,000 Palestinians and destroyed much of the Gaza Strip.

His death is a crippling blow to the group. But Hamas has proven resilient to past losses of leaders. There was no immediate confirmation from Hamas of Sinwar’s death.
Netanyahu has said Israel will keep fighting until hostages are free, and that it will keep control over Gaza long enough to ensure Hamas does not rearm — an effective occupation that raises the possibility of months or even years of continued fighting.
Earlier this month Israel opened a new front in its war with Hezbollah, stepping up bombardment in Lebanon and launching a ground campaign against the Iran-backed militia after a year of trading cross-border fire.
In his speech about Sinwar's death, Netanyahi said, “Our war is not yet ended.”
President Joe Biden called Sinwar's death a “good day for Israel, for the United States, and for the world,” and he said it opens the way for "a political settlement that provides a better future for Israelis and Palestinians alike.” He said he would talk with Netanyahu "to discuss the pathway for bringing the hostages home to their families, and for ending this war once and for all.”
