To replace the Ring Alarm Motion Sensor batteries you will need to do the following: How To Replace Ring Motion Alarm Motion Sensor Batteries: 1. The Ring Alarm Motion Sensor will tell you if it has low batteries on the Ring App. Or you can press the button on the Ring Alarm Motion sensor and if it doesn't light up your Ring Alarm Motion Sensor Batteries are dead. 2. Look at the orientation of the Rign Alarm Motion sensor. To remove it from the mount you will need to push up from the bottom of the device to replace the Ring Alarm motion sensor batteries. The bottom of the Ring Alarm Motion Sensor is the side that has the round button on it, and the top is where the Ring Logo is located right side up. 3. Push the Ring Motion sensor off from the bottom, and it will pop off the mounting plate. 4. With the Ring Motion sensor removed you can then replace the batteries on the Ring Motion sensor. The Ring Motion Sensor takes 2 AA batteries that can be inserted into the back of the device. 5. Once you've changed the Ring Motion Sensor batteries you can then reinstall the Ring Alarm motion sensor back on the mount. Align the Ring Motion sensor tabs with the Ring mounting plate then install on the sensor on to the mounting plate. 6. You can test the motion sensor by pressing the button on it which should light up confirming that the batteries have been correctly installed. You can also check the Ring App to confirm that the Ring Motion Alarm Motion sensor is shown as active on the app.

Inspect the existing wiring to see if you have a c wire also known as a common wire. If you have a common wire it will be connected in the C wire terminal of your existing thermostat. It's important to note that even if you don't have an C wire currently wired to your existing thermostat you may still be able to wire up a smart thermostat that requires a C wire. There are several options. 1. Check for extra wires Check your existing thermsotat wiring for extra wires. Sometimes there is an unused wire in the thermostat bundle that can be used as a C wire and wired up to the new thermostat and it will also need to be wired up to the existing HVAC system control board. 2. Run a new common wire You can run a new C wire from your thermostat to your HVAC system. 3. Use your G wire as a C wire ( Common Wire) You can use your G wire which is the independent fan control as a C wire. You just rewire the g Wire to the C terminal on both the thermostat and at the HVAC system control board and then you have a new common wire. In my experience the Lutron Caseta and Leviton Smart Switches that don't require a Neutral wire have been reliable, easy to install smart switches that are easy to use. Both the Leviton and Lutron Smart Switches that don't require a neutral require have very similar features. They both allow you to remotely control your lighting from your phone but they also both work with smart voice assistants like Alexa, Google Home and Siri so that you can control your lighting with your voice. Most but not all home built after 1980 will have a neutral wire in the switch box, but many older homes don't have a neutral wire in the switch box which is required for many types of smart light switches. The Leviton and Lutron smart switches don't require a neutral wire in the switch box but they will also work even in homes that do have a neutral wire in the switch box meaning they are compatible with standard residential wiring. The Lutron Diva Smart Dimmer can be controlled with voice commands when connected a compatible voice assistant like Alexa, Google Home or Siri. It is also compatible with HomeKit. In my review of the Lutron Diva Smart Dimmer I found it to be reliable and easy to use. It works on the same app as the Lutron Caseta Smart Light switches which have a good track record. Favorite Smart Home Devices: amazon.com/shop/onehoursmarthomeTo Factory Reset the Sensi Smart Thermostat ST55 or Sensi ST 55 Smart Thermostat you need to remove the batteries from the smart thermostat for 2 minutes. Then reinsert the batteries. To Remove the batteries and reset the Sensi ST55 you need to pull the Sensi Smart Thermostat off of its mount by pulling forwards on the device and removing it from the mount. This will then give you access to the Sensi Smart Thermostat and Sensi Thermostat batteries. If you are having issues getting your Sensi Smart Thermostat reset try using new batteries when reinstalling them in the device. How To Reset Sensi Smart Thermostat ST551. Remove the thermostat from wall. 2. Remove the batteries for 2 minutes then reinstall the batteries. 3. Replace the Sensi ST 55 Smart Thermostat which has now been factory reset. How To Set Up Sensi Smart Thermostat ST55 1. Once the device has been factory reset it can then be set back up. If you are having issues getting the Sensi Smart Thermostat set up. If you are having issues setting up your Wyze Cam Pan V3 try these two things`1. Make sure you have an SD card inserted. 2. You can factory reset the device by doing the following: With the Wyze Cam Pan V3 unplugged, hold down the setup button and continue holding it while you plug it in and power it up. Don't let up on holding down the setup button. Continue the holding down the setup button for a 15 seconds until the Wyze Cam Pan V3 factory resets. In my experience the 1080HD Resolution on n the Wyze Cam Pan V3 is good and it has a clear picture. The pan and tilt functionality of the camera was intuitve and easy to use.
