The entire stretch of phase 1 main carriageway is now passable to light vehicles. There is a temporary off ramp at Umagan for light vehicles, it gives the motorists access to Maharlika Highway - Talavera and Cabanatuan boundary. Revisiting - Punta Santa Ana - Bacood Santa Mesa pedestrian bridge dmitrivalencia 2024-03-07 | The bridge used to be a hanging bridge that connects Punta Santa Ana and Bacood Santa Mesa. The hanging bridge was a little bit scary and shaky, it was removed to make way for the construction of Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3. The hanging bridge was restored sometime two years ago but it was improved into a steel bridge. It can cater pedestrians with trollies and bicycles. There is also a ramp besides stairs that can accommodate these. It is located in Dalisay and Makisig streets in Bacood side while on the Punta side it is near Iglesia ni Cristo - lokal ng Punta and walking distance to Lambigan Ferry Terminal. SMC the proponent of Skyway Stage 3 was the one who restored this bridge with the coordination of the barangay and local government of Manila.I used to frequent this place to see the updates of Skyway Stage 3, it was still a hanging bridge and scary since it vibrates when another person is walking. Metro Manila Skyway at-grade Undercarriage lighting (Magallanes to Muntinlupa) dmitrivalencia 2024-03-01 | We are showing to you the undercarriage lighting of the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 1 and 2 from Magallanes to Alabang Muntinlupa. The at-grade portion of Skyway is now very well illuminated. Some though have commented of the strobe effect while driving. Comparing to the previous lighting, the new undercarriage lighting is bright and well lit, better than the old sodium vapor lights installed. This is a welcome news to motorists plying the at-grade portion, an added aid for drivers safety. Hope the other under carriage portion of the Metro Manila Skyway will have lighting too. New Clark City - Clark Airport access road drive (ANAR) dmitrivalencia 2024-02-20 | This is the New Clark City - Clark Airport Access road drive. The entire stretch of the road was passable but some portions are still under construction. Also one of the scenic drives in Central Luzon. The road crosses some of the portions of the Zambales mountain range. New Clark City is a new township (planned community) outside National Capital Region. Located within the Clark special economic zone, the 9,000+ hectare development is situated within Bamban and Capas Tarlac. The road is 3x3 lanes with beautiful cut sections of mountains. This video starts from Bgy Sta Lucia in Capas and ends in the Clark Airport rotunda. The road is self sustaining with solar powered street lamps. There are portions still under construction. There are wide pedestrian lanes on the side. Speed limit is 60 km/h. Finally got the chance to cross the New Sacobia River bridge too. It is surrounded by two historical bridges in downtown Manila, Jones and MacArthur Bridge. There are areas still under construction. It was opened this month of January 2024. The opening was graced by President Ferdinand "Bong Bong" Marcos Jr. and other private businessmen who funded the initiative to rehabilitate the Pasig river that is the main tributary in Metro Manila. The river esplanade is proposed to have commercial establishments and jogging path. From Clark South we drive all the way to the Subusub TPLEX rotunda in Rosario La Union. It was a relaxing drive and luckily no accident or traffic build up. Total driving hours around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Speed limit enforced on SCTEX and TPLEX with speed cameras. Current maximum speed for class 1 is 100 km/h and 60 km/h as minimum. The Petron fuel station along TPLEX will have new restaurants, I saw Jollibee tarpaulin in one of the fuel stations there.

The contractor installed 20 girders - 2 span starting from December 28 up to dusk of December 29, 2023. I have observed the final span - along Dr A Santos Avenue which composed of 10 girders. The objective of the rehab was to avoid the perennial flooding and damaged roads. Lets check the newly rehabilitated Lagusinilad. I also made a side trip on this video to the Binondo Intramuros Bridge. The downtown Manila and Binondo has neo classical buildings but unfortunately most of these buildings are being demolished and developers are building modern designed buildings instead. The neo classical and old buildings are the image of the city of Manila. Hoping concerned agencies will safeguard these structures. It does not mean its old its not usable.
Pinoy Joyride - Molino Flyover Drive - Now open dmitrivalencia 2023-12-13 | The Molino Flyover was opened last december 12, 2023. The project was plagued by right of way issues. The 1x1 bridge was supposed to be a 2 lane flyover. The bridge is also subject of ridicule called as the greatwall of Molino. Trucks are not allowed on the flyover.May this newly opened bridge ease up traffic at Daang Hari - Molino intersection. Slowdown on the joint area of the bridge. CALAX Subsection 3 update as of December 2023 / OB 3 Bridge - Arnaldo Highway dmitrivalencia 2023-12-01 | The work continues on #CALAX subsection 3 General Trias - Governors Drive interchange. The alignment of CALAX crosses below the Arnaldo Highway. A bridge (OB3) has to be constructed so the alignment can cross below affecting a small portion of a private cannery business beside. The girder installation of OB 3 / bridge happened for three nights. All in all, 16 type 4 girders were installed, the bridge is composed of two spans. Contractor #LCAL has successfully installed all 16 girders. A liebherr 300t crawler of #RoyalCargo was used in this lifting and in this installation we will be seeing #Goldhofer transporting the girders from the yard to the installation site. Congratulations to #MPTSouth and #MPCALA Congratulations to the girder installation team of Leighton Contractors Asia LTD and Royal Cargo for a successful, accident free and safe girder instalaltion! Pinoy Joyride - CALAX Westbound Joyride - Mamplasan to Tagaytay 2023 dmitrivalencia 2023-11-20 | The #CaviteLagunaExpressway extended its operational alignment with the opening of the subsection 4 last November 8, 2023. Toll fee is still free. We have measured the travel time from SLEX Mamplasan toll plaza to Aguinaldo Highway via #CALAX and also continued to measure from Aguinaldo Interchange to Tagaytay City. Included in the video is a synchronized time code sync with the raw file of the video while we adjusted the speed of the video. Sunset is one of my favorite time to drive in CALAX as the mood makes you feel appreciation of life and a day end and a new tomorrow. As of this documentation, toll is still free for Silang Aguinaldo Interchange. You will only have to pay the Mamplasan to Silang East Interchange rate of P 64.00The video ended in Rosario's by Vikings in Tagaytay. The music used usually is included in my car playlist. From Magsaysay Blvd in Sta Mesa Manila driving towards Mindanao Avenue in Valenzuela / Novaliches area. The drive was around 15 minutes. CALAX Aguinaldo Interchange NOW OPEN! - First drive 12:00am November 8, 2023 dmitrivalencia 2023-11-08 | This was broadcasted on facebook page (facebook live) Pinoy Joyride and reposted here. Video quality was not good due to being a live video. We got lucky to be the first vehicle to enter CALAX subsection 4 westbound. We were escorted by the patrol officer and guided as we reach Silang East Interchange around 12:00 am. Now we can say we legally entered CALAX subsection 4 with a patrol escorting us, then we did a U-turn at Aguinaldo Highway to test the westbound and did an exit at Silang East Interchange westbound exit. CALAX subsection 4 - Silang Interchange lighting of toll plaza - October 2023 dmitrivalencia 2023-10-17 | The exciting part of this chapter in the construction of subsection 4 has come to a climax. The lighting of the toll plaza and nearby areas around the #CALAX #SilangInterchange (Aguinaldo). In this video we witness the return of the concrete paver machine of dmci for one last performance for this section while the access road to Aguinaldo highway is now complete. All that remains are the shoulder and other miscellaneous works. There are still much work to do so that the proponent can deliver a safe new road for travellers and motorists. Our coverage of this section of CALAX is also coming to an end. Take note ah there are still works like shoulder pouring and median pouring. Di pa siya 100% complete ah pero malapit na. NLEX Connector Section 2 update as of October 2023 dmitrivalencia 2023-10-16 | Let us check the continuation of #NLEXConnector - section 2 from Espana to Ramon Magsaysay blvd. There are new off and on ramps included on this section. Still under construction are the Loyola off ramp and Algeciras on ramp while the Ramon Magsaysay blvd on and off ramps are nearing completion. Asphalt works have commence as well and so as the lane markings on most portion of the main alignment. Very very soon, this alignment shall cross Ramon Magsaysay blvd and below LRT line 2 towards PUP Sta Mesa and connecting to Skyway Stage 3 via the common alignment route. #NLEXSLEXConnector #MPTC #NLEXCorporation #crbc Document date: 10.14.2023

CALAX subsection 4 update as of October 2023 dmitrivalencia 2023-10-07 | This video gives emphasis on the remaining areas of the #SilangInterchange of #CALAX subsection 4. We also included some of the updates on the other areas of the alignment. It was a challenge doing earthworks specially when it rains. The rotunda is now clearly visible, all that really remains is the road after rotunda towards Aguinaldo Highway. Our time together to witness subsection 4 completion's is nearing its destination.
