This project aims to roughly depict the exponential nature of the progression and totality of *Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease* and each song represents 1 week of the patient's remaining life.
*PART ONE: WEEKS 1-10*
At first, changes go practically unnoticed with each passing week. Life goes on as it usually does, work- and household-related activities are still easy. The only signs of something being amiss are distinct changes in personality.
However, as the number of misfolded Prion proteins continues to grow, killing off more and more neurons in the brain, characteristic muscle twitches and difficulties with memory eventually start to break through.
Past a certain point, a diagnosis of probable CJD may be reached.
0:00 - Week 1 | Final days of recall
2:53 - Week 2 | I am still myself
6:06 - Week 3 | Things as they are
9:17 - Week 4 | Growing irritability
12:50 - Week 5 | Empty masquerade
16:18 - Week 6 | Fine cracks showing
19:59 - Week 7 | Slight trembling
24:14 - Week 8 | Dysfunctionality
27:32 - Week 9 | Horrible thoughts
31:17 - Week 10 | False memories
*PART TWO: WEEKS 11-20*
As the weeks pass, Prion proteins continue to misfold exponentially, killing even more neurons. Recall begins to decline ever faster, and the initial symptoms of rapidly-progressive dementia begin to give way to extreme paranoia and hallucinations.
Reality begins to collapse, symptoms continue to become even more severe until memories and experiences are scrambled, tangled, ruptured beyond repair. Soon, nothing but a blind, deaf, and unfeeling husk is left, able to do nothing but wait for death.
Definitive diagnosis of CJD is only possible post-mortem.
34:26 - Week 11 | Losing internal battle
38:14 - Week 12 | Really still myself?
41:11 - Week 13 | Slipping losing grip
45:16 - Week 14 | Lost in words misunderstood
48:04 - Week 15 | Holes sinking paranoia
52:24 - Week 16 | Infinite psychosis
57:55 - Week 17 | Reality collapsing
1:02:57 - Week 18 | Soul burning
1:07:47 - Week 19 | Deep beneath the sea
1:12:12 - Week 20 | Somewhere, out there

honestly this one didn't end up being quite as crazy to make as i thought it was, most of the time between week 14's sample guide and week 15's was just. mental block
either way i hope this is neat!
OH ALSO. the minus sign on the speed/pitch changes are like impossible to make out so i'm sorry about that
This project aims to roughly depict the progression and totality of sporadic *Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease*. Each song represents 1 week of the patient's remaining life.
It's an honor to be able to put this whole project out, as I feel it's a good way of showing how much I've progressed since the partial release of the original A Fog Of The Mind. Enjoy!

*PART ONE: WEEKS 1-9*
At first, changes are relatively minor with each passing week. But as the number of misfolded Prion proteins grows, difficulties with memory eventually start to become noticeable.

32:37 - Week 9 | Memory Falsehood
*PART TWO: WEEKS 10-18*
As the weeks pass, Prion proteins misfold exponentially. Recall starts to rapidly decline, giving way to paranoia and hallucinations as the world seems to collapse. Soon, blindness and deafness take over, leaving nothing but a husk waiting for death.
37:20 - Week 10 | Am I Really Still Myself
41:00 - Week 11 | Not Right Not Right
45:06 - Week 12 | Lost In Words Misunderstood

This album is mainly just a collection of songs I've worked on for the past couple of years. Some are much more finished (and better) than others, but I included each song because I feel they're each still interesting in their own way.

This TAS beats Xray74's 8:06.549 by 4.510 seconds, by implementing faster strategies and removing all major mistakes. Much of the timesave was in 1-2, 5-2, and 8-2, however this TAS also saves notable time in 4-4 and 8-4 as well.
there is still a lot of time to save, expect a sub 20:40 or 20:30 sometime soon

TIMING CHANGED FROM GAME START TO FIRST FRAME OF MOVING THE CAMERA/PLAYER
kinda bad run, could likely go sub 30 if i wrote down and/or memorized various waypoints.
TIMING CHANGED FROM GAME START TO FIRST FRAME OF MOVING THE CAMERA/PLAYER
this is possible cause duigi's 1 frame jump is insanely low lol
A Fog of the Mind is a short, 12-track album. It is designed to simulate the decline of the ability to recall singular memories caused by dementia. Individual memories become increasingly distorted and fragmented, and towards the end begin to bleed into each other, hinting at the beginning of a new process.

The goal of this TAS is to complete the PAL version of Super Mario Bros. as fast as possible. PAL is quite different to NTSC, as in the PAL version Mario moves faster, jumps higher, falls faster, and accelerates/decelerates much faster than in its NTSC counterpart. This makes things such as FFPG from pole inputs, a 132 xpos block clip in 4-2, the floor clip in 1-2, and the ceiling clip in 8-4 possible.
Black Hole is a dark ambient concept album about falling through a black hole and ending up at the singularity. It features 5 songs: "Drifting Through Deep Space," "A Rip in Space," "Falling Beneath," "A Rip in Time," and "Singularity."
