KNXV-TV Channel 15 reported that one of the choppers belonged to its station. The other chopper was from KTVK Channel 3 in Phoenix. The news helicopters were covering a police pursuit in central Phoenix Friday afternoon. Police were pursuing someone suspected of stealing a city truck, then jumping into at least one other vehicle during the afternoon chase, a police spokesman told reporters." Laakmolen 07/02/2011 Rudolph Tammes 2011-02-08 | De Laakmolen is een poldermolen in het huidige Den Haag (Laakkwartier) gelegen aan de Haagse Vliet op de hoek van de Laakkade en de Trekweg. De Laakmolen, een 8-kante grondzeiler, dateert van 1699 en is deels gebouwd op de fundamenten van een vroegere molen. De molen is gebouwd in opdracht van het Hoogheemraadschap Delfland en moest er samen met de Broekslootmolen of Nieuwe Molen voor zorgen, dat het water in de Noordpolder op de gewenste hoogte bleef. Het water werd van het watertje de Laak in de boezem gemalen. De Haagse Vliet was het boezemwater. Reeds in de 16e eeuw is er sprake van een molen op deze plaats. De molen, die een ouderdom kent van meer dan 500 jaar is daarmee de oudste --nog bestaande-- molen van Den Haag. De molen stond 400 jaar op Rijswijks grondgebied. Kort na 1900 werd de grond bij 's-Gravenhage gevoegd. Rond de molen zou de Haagse wijk Molenwijk verschijnen. A television image shows the Grupo TACA plane lying in a neighborhood in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Television images showed the plane's fuselage buckled and broken apart in places. The cockpit was smashed under a billboard, and firefighters hosed down at least two cars trapped under the Airbus 320's left engine. Two dead, 12 injured after B.C. balloon crash Rudolph Tammes 2007-08-25 | Police have confirmed two people are dead and twelve injured after a hot-air balloon caught fire in mid-air before crashing to the ground in a trailer park in Surrey, B.C. As many as 14 people may have been on board at the time of the accident. As of early Saturday morning, two people were still unaccounted for but RCMP Sgt. Roger Morrow confirmed both people were killed in the accident. It's unclear whether they were in the balloon or on the ground when the flaming basket plunged into an RV park.
