Never before has such a large amount of magma accumulated by Grindavik and the Blue Lagoon so an eruption looks inevitable right now since, or at least while the ground uplift continues. The south Iceland fracture zone is however a separate, but maybe a related story and i found a few surprises when after the earthquakes, giving me a reason to go after more footage and delve even deeper into this well know earthquake zone.
