This was my final fit test before packing her up for Anime Boston! [The Cosplay has even more LEDs than shown in this vid, but alas ignore my headphones that I forgot to turn on lmao] 🖤She is my favorite module in the Project Diva games, and one of my favorite figures in my collection!This design is by Gundam legend Hajime Katoki, and is a crossover of Miku and Fei-Yen from the Cybertroopers Virtual-on games. This design also made an appearance in Super Robot Wars UX, which totally needs a US release!Because the cosplay is based on a figure, I got to be creative and come up with my own ideas for how the all the LEDs would move and behave. Took inspo for the visor animation directly from Virtual-On!💙

🩸Tokyo Ghoul - Ken Kaneki Cosplay☕ MechaGhoul 2022-06-09 | Here's a quick video of my most recent build!Kaneki took longer than expected, I started in March 2020, and 100+ hours later he's finally mostly done. The pandemic really threw off my typical workflow. I found myself, among countless other creators, struggling to stay motivated. I'm really happy with how the Kagune turned out, they all connect together with a system of buckles and nylon strapping. This lets me break down the whole cosplay for better storage. After Big Sister, I need as much storage space as I can get! This is the first time I've airbrushed EVA, and it's definitely not the last time I'll be doing so. I also think I finally have a better understanding of programming with Arduino. [With lots of thanks to Garrett for getting me started!]I already feel amped up to start on my next project. I do want to make some minor adjustments on Kaneki, like finishing a new custom-fitted mask and maybe tightening up the bodysuit once I get my sewing machine repaired.
