ABOUT THE GAME:
The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
Prepare to experience your new obsession it claims on the box. Yes, but also confusion and frustration. Daggerfall is a first-person dungeon-crawler, second installment of the Elder Scrolls series, and it pioneered some of the elements that would become standard in later titles. It was a highly-ambitious project, and it did some interesting things that were never seen again within the series.
Played using the DaggerfallSetup.exe found on the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages:

Lets Play Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (PC)
#25: The Burnt Ivory King
Below the Grand Cathedral, the Old Chaos beckons... but first we must recruit the additional 3 Knights of Eleum Loyce if we are to stand a proper chance against it. Alsanna has broken the seal across Eleum Loyce, so now its time for another journey through to find them.
There is a couple of areas that we could not get to previously, and loads of treasure chests to collect. Theres also a few scandalous NPCs waiting to prey on the unwary, including an old friend.
With the 4 Knights ready for battle, we plummit downwards, to fight the charred army within the Old Chaos, and put the Burnt Ivory King to rest so that we may claim his crown.

ABOUT THIS SERIES:
This is a casual playthrough where I recreate my favorite old DEX/INT build. The pacing is a bit faster than my usual style; this is not a comprehensive walkthrough, and I will be skipping some items/enemies/sections. I will kill all bosses. I have not played DkS2 since before the release of the third game earlier this year, and in recent months Ive been very engrossed in DkS1; this is my revisitation of DkS2, to once and for all gain a proper perspective on all three games in the series. #25: The Burnt Ivory King [ Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin — PC ]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/t0C0UBow-1k/mqdefault.jpg)

#11: Of Ice and Annelids
Red is getting close, as we are now in the deeper lead mines of Section C; he hints that we may be able to utilize the nearby chemical storage area for some mixing of sorts, but not without his maddened ramblings that also point toward cannibalization...
Red, youre going to have a lot of explaining to do when I find you.

ABOUT THE GAME:
Penumbra: Overture (2007), by Frictional Games, is the first chapter of a survival horror series that preceded the more well-known game Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It features much of the same elements - a dynamic physics engine, gameplay that emphasizes puzzle-solving, and instilling psychological horror based on an inability to fight back against the games monsters.
The story begins when our character, Philip, receives a mysterious letter from the father he never knew shortly after his mothers funeral. A series of clues leads Philip to an isolated part of Northern Greenland, where he begins searching for answers.
If fate frowns, we all perish. #11: Of Ice and Annelids — [Penumbra: Overture]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/t2SHgTBfMBc/mqdefault.jpg)

#03: Signs of Life... and Death
Time to make way across the main area and check out the storage room; the door leading further into the mine is locked, so I hope to find a key there.
Inside, I can hear an unsettling slavering behind a locked door; could it be someone else, or perhaps a monster? The tunnels underneath the storage area are full of spider webs, and also littered with a trail of notes left by someone who was living down here.

#21: Sinh the Slumbering Dragon & the Gank Squad
Just beyond Elanas chamber is the resting place of Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon; yep, a boss right after a boss. Sinh has a few notable qualities: his fire attacks also induce poison, his flesh is rock hard and breaks your weapon quite quickly, and he flies around ALOT, and can cause frustration in sometimes never letting you have a chance to attack.
With the sanctum key we picked up in the chamber full of ghost-bodies, we can access the far tower in Sanctum City, where we can find a third, optional boss fight known among players as the Gank Squad. Its a band of three tomb-robbing adventurers, garbed as recognizable characters from the lore. Taking them head-on is likely to result in overwhelming defeat; the safe strategy is to keep moving around the room in a circular fashion, using hit and run tactics to kill Cerah, the great-bow user. With only two left, the fight becomes a lot more manageable.
Crown of the Ivory King in hand, we can return to the Memory of Vendrick and chat with him to see what he says...
