#21: Sinh the Slumbering Dragon & the Gank Squad

Just beyond Elana's chamber is the resting place of Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon; yep, a boss right after a boss. Sinh has a few notable qualities: his fire attacks also induce poison, his flesh is rock hard and breaks your weapon quite quickly, and he flies around ALOT, and can cause frustration in sometimes never letting you have a chance to attack.

With the sanctum key we picked up in the chamber full of ghost-bodies, we can access the far tower in Sanctum City, where we can find a third, optional boss fight known among players as "the Gank Squad". It's a band of three tomb-robbing adventurers, garbed as recognizable characters from the lore. Taking them head-on is likely to result in overwhelming defeat; the safe strategy is to keep moving around the room in a circular fashion, using hit and run tactics to kill Cerah, the great-bow user. With only two left, the fight becomes a lot more manageable.

Crown of the Ivory King in hand, we can return to the Memory of Vendrick and chat with him to see what he says...

ABOUT THIS SERIES:
This is a casual playthrough where I recreate my favorite old DEX/INT build. The pacing is a bit faster than my usual style; this is not a comprehensive walkthrough, and I will be skipping some items/enemies/sections. I will kill all bosses. I have not played DkS2 since before the release of the third game earlier this year, and in recent months I've been very engrossed in DkS1; this is my revisitation of DkS2, to once and for all gain a proper perspective on all three games in the series.
