You also get to see me make several mistakes! Feel free to skip this video and download the code below if you already feel confident with the content in the previous videos.
EDIT: Thanks to Etop Owertwon, we don't need to use UTF8-CPP, we can actually just use a built in CEGUI string class. Code here: http://pastebin.com/BKH3CyM3

Today we install Crazy Eddies GUI library using cmake on windows. I will not be making a tutorial for other OSes, so it is up to you to figure out how! Luckily the process is almost exacly the same other than the choice of IDE, so if you watch this tutorial you should understand how to do it! Let me know if you have any problems.

I finally graduated school and released the SoA demo, so I am going to shoot for 3 tutorials per week! Today we add Box2D to our game so that we can have much better physics!
Next tutorial, we use recursion for an unbeatable tic tac toe AI!

In the next video we will use them to start our Ninja Platformer!
In this tutorial we implement a new architecture for managing screens that allows us to cleanly separate code for each screen, and makes the engine much easier to use for creating new games!

Also, we learn what lazy initialization is! Please make your own renderers and put the code in the comments below. I will feature the coolest ones in a video, and I'll put them in the description as well :D

Were gonna optimize the crap out of ball game! Would you believe me if I said we will be able to support 40k balls? We also go over std::unique_ptr in more detail!

Be sure to download it and play around with it! We also learn about Macros and Variadic macro arguments, as well as the Single Responsibility Principle!
EDIT: I lied! Don't use auto for for loops, use size_t! auto will match with the 0 and be signed instead of the .size()

Today we add the ability to customize our particle update logic using function pointers and lambdas! See the links below for further reading on function pointers and lambdas!

The video is a bit long, but it is well worth it! In the next video we will enhance our particles with more functionality!
Twitter: twitter.com/ChillstepCoder Seed Of Andromeda Channel: youtube.com/user/DubstepCoder Seed Of Andromeda Website: http://www.seedofandromeda.comAdvanced C++/Graphics Tutorial 35: for each loopMakingGamesWithBen2014-12-14 | Today we learn a handy new loop syntax in C++11 called the for each loop! It is a simpler way to loop through every element in a container :) Keep in mind, it only works when the container has a defined .begin() and .end() method, so you cant use a for each loop on a plain array for instance.

Pt. 4MakingGamesWithBen2014-10-30 | In the final part we will wrap up the game by adding guns and killing some zombies! Be sure to download the full code below if you didn't follow along. We will be enhancing and optimizing this game over the next few episodes!
In this tutorial I teach you the basics of vectors and how they can be used! Then we implement some simple projectiles in our game! Challenge episode is next, so prepare yourself :)
Twitter: twitter.com/ChillstepCoder Seed Of Andromeda Channel: youtube.com/user/DubstepCoder Seed Of Andromeda Website: http://www.seedofandromeda.comAdvanced C++/Graphics Tutorial 25: Getting Click Position!MakingGamesWithBen2014-10-15 | In this tutorial we calculate the position of a mouse click, which is very useful for allowing us to click on objects or shoot bullets! In the next tutorial we will learn about vectors and use them to shoot some bullets!
Today we make some helpful improvements to our engine that will make life easier when we start the first challenge video! I will do the challenge video in the next 2 or 3 episodes, and it's gonna be a fun one!
In this episode we finish the SpriteBatch, and I teach you a new function emplace_back, that can be slightly more efficient than push_back! Challenge video is coming soon!
Today we begin creating the SpriteBatch class, which will help us optimize our rendering! This is a rather long video so I split it into two parts! You will learn a lot today :)
You don't NEED to know all the math, it is just nice to know it :) You DO need to be confident with vectors though. If you take a basic physics class, you will learn about vectors!
Twitter: twitter.com/ChillstepCoder Seed Of Andromeda Channel: youtube.com/user/DubstepCoder Seed Of Andromeda Website: http://www.seedofandromeda.comAdvanced C++/Graphics Tutorial 20: Installing GLMMakingGamesWithBen2014-09-29 | This tutorial is so easy it probably isn't even needed :) GLM is a math library that gives us a lot of helpful things! The library is designed to behave like GLSL so it will be very familiar to you!
Today we learn about namespaces and how to use them to encapsulate our entire game engine in a named scope! We also make our own window class that wraps the SDL window :)
