Here is a description of a new writing challenge spanning all of 2026. It is called 84x4 (pronounced “eighty-four by four”) and consists of 4 12-week blocks (called mini-years) with 1-week breaks between them.

Dates
Mini-year 1: January 4-March 28, 2026
Mini-year 2: April 5-June 27, 2026
Mini-year 3: July 5-September 26, 2026
Mini-year 4: October 4-December 26, 2026
