SUPER PROBABLY LEVEL by Alkali

This is it. This is the end of Tartarus being intimidating. This level is harder and was verified just a few days ago. The demon list is saved. I amalgamated a lot to this.
Overall this level is pretty clean as a Quanteuse Processing remake ahowever there isn't really as much interesting stuff going on due to the much lower difficulty. The level is kinda empty. There's really not much to say about it.

This is a very old Lithifusion demon (started 7 years ago) that was verified a year ago, and finished with the work of TJT and some others. It's a pretty neat level, and here's a showcase of it.

Also, for some reason this music is blocked in Russia, sorry you guys :(

This has to be the dimmest level I have ever seen verified, the level is extremely hard to see which probably adds quite a lot to the difficulty.
I normally think putting 'Verified' in titles in unnecessary however since the verification is completely unnoticed (250 views at time of writing this) I think it is acceptable to do this to get the level seen by more people.
The decoration is okay, probably not the best I've ever seen, but it serves its purpose. I don't know if this is really going to be rated but I can do my best to make sure this doesn't sit on the UDL for the rest of eternity. I think it's worthy of one.

This is the third level in SyQual's Maplestory themed series (The first two were Trueffet and Subterminal Point, the second of which I still need to get to). Each level is inspired by a different part of the RPG, this one is themed after the Labyrinth of Suffering.
And it feels like it! The gameplay is insanely difficult, at least top 5 in this state, and is to be verified by Hqmy (who is verifying every end at the moment), who will have to fight demons to get through this... every gap is just insanely difficult, and the level has a lot of inputs for how calm it is, around 500, whereas other levels around this length probably have 350-400.
The difficulty can of course feel forced at times despite this, as there's just not much intensity to it and it feels like there's good reason for it to be this difficult. This could easily be an extended list if it wasn't so forced, and it would probably be for the better. This is my biggest criticism with the level.
The gameplay is nicely done - there are a lot of memory elements that are very well executed, as you would hope for a level named Labyrinth. My only wish is that it were more accessible.
The decoration itself is really nice, it's done in the classic SyQual style, which is impossible to hate, it is just so clean and well polished that it can't really be flawed. All your suffering is laid out beautifully. This said - the level lacks the pizzazz of SyQ's other levels, falling short of having many parts that really stick with you, such as the spams and almost all the gameplay in Trueffet or the infamous waves and pulses of The Hallucination, this just doesn't have many parts that compare or reach that high of a level. (which it doesn't have to do to be good, but I'm just putting things into perspective here)
With the game reaching the level of an art form - and when you're looking at levels of this quality - this makes a difference. This is like when they purified the ingredients for Swiss cheese so much the bubbles disappeared. This is so focused on being perfect and polished that it didn't have room for enough in-your-face charm. I shall call this phenomenon Smooth Cheese Syndrome.
This is pretty nit-picky criticism though, and overall, this is still an incredibly good project - it's just that I like to find improvements wherever I can. Many people would be lucky to have made just one iconic level - SyQual is talented enough to have worked on two all time classics - and that can come as a blessing and a curse. Because everything you make afterwards will be compared to those high points.
Okay, well maybe not every level has to be like that. Nobody is out there saying "you have to make something completely new and iconic or your level won't be good", and it's all relative to the viewer anyway. How about we just switch off for a bit, admire the level and stop worrying so much about what expectations it has to meet, and make our individual minds up.
In the end I know I will come back to see this level again. I found it thought provoking and it's challenging my beliefs on what I think a top level should be. Like Subterminal Point and Trueffet did, and still are. There's still something going on here! It's just subtle.
Please let me know if you want to hear my thoughts on that weird Top 12! Other than that, I'll see you guys around.
The idea for this came from Voxicat, who said that he would work on a layout I made if I actually created one. That stuff will hopefully be coming soon! (maybe this will become an effect layout :3) Thank you so much for the constant motivation and getting me to finish this! ^w^
Whatever this ends up being, I will make sure the player experience comes first and I plan to work closely with a few good players to make this the best it can be. This might not even be the final name for the level since I don't really have a 100% choice yet, but this one is the least weird sounding one i could think of.

P.S...
Sorry about the messy structuring!
The level is mainly cube and timing based, with the occasional ship skill test. It's pretty fun and well click synced (if you can click fast enough) though the beginning is unavoidably slow so I would probably nerf that if it was actually getting beaten for a better player experience.
I don't know what my intentions are with this so do not expect any decoration. I would rather spend more time making other crap than decorate or balance this crap. I like making this stuff just for fun, and if I enjoy it I don't really care who else does.

Unfortunately, the music is pretty altered by YouTube's compression due to the certain sounds in the audio. If you want to listen to the original music, do so on your streaming platform of choice.
Also, please don't expect bottomless pit any time soon. If it is soon, I will make it very obvious. I would also rather to do other things.
All videos recorded and botted by me!
Well... this took a while. There's no real reason I did this other than I wanted to improve a bit at the game by botting as many levels at full speed as possible. This stopped being fun around the top 70 where I switched to 0.7x speed. Overall, this took about a week or so of total non stop showcase grinding to bot, render, record, edit and upload, which is about twice as much time as I have spent playing Erebus (dw I will finish it some time soon) Enjoy the demon list in one video! I also apologize for the eventual typing errors that will turn up in this video. I'm really bad at noticing those.

I am not showcasing many levels right now as I just haven't felt much like playing the game and I won't want to force any uploads, but I'll still upload a few cool levels every now and then that I see.
This level is about top 10-100 according to varying player opinion.
I find the level to be interesting and atmospherioc, but it lacks the memorability of levels such as nullscapes. The level has slightly unclear theming (besides the fog) and a lot of the design is hidden underneath shaders. The gameplay is the real interesting part and definitely the highlight of the level. It's decently fun to play for something so limited.
Rating: 7/10
about 13k attempts in, overall got some good progress on this today, since I hadn't gotten to the drop before
I don't really mind dying here because it's a hard jump though would have enjoyed beating it. less thinking about the what-ifs and more focusing on beating the level now.
also it was 1am so i couldnt really react that much but i was hyped
First of all, the gameplay for this is well made, fun, and creative. The memory segment at the end is also really nicely made and as far as mazes go it is one of the most interesting that I have seen in a level gameplay-wise.
The decoration is really well laid out and uses color well. The decoration style is super unique and interesting, especially for an Extreme Demon. We definitely need more levels like this! x3
Overall, I think this level is really great, though it could of course have benefited from being longer, being such an open solo level, this is still impressive in length.
Rating: 8/10
I am pretty impressed by the length and quality of this layout. Having such a long level with such a standard kept through the level is extremely difficult to put together, and every member of this collab put in good work. As a result of the length though, the lack of memorable-ness for most parts really stands out, and have a lot less impact than the variety and ingenuity of levels such as Misanthrope which have a lot more memorable parts. Because of this, the level feels very song-carried at times, with the gameplay acting as a passive representation of the music, and not as an art in its own right. There are still some very memorable parts though, which are refreshing and apparent when you reach them!
The level will be decorated, and hosted in parts to be put together into a final level. This would probably be one of the longest 'upcoming top 1' levels ever - being a lot longer than Flamewall.
Rating (so far): 7/10
This is a very well put together level and I'm really impressed with its aestherics. It's really clear that nikoberry has a great understanding of this and knows how to decorate, in fact, he spent over 300 hours working on this level and it shows!
This level uses Lotus Flower by Radiohead, a song famous for being used already in an identically named level. Some people have suggested that the level shouldn't use this song because it's 'not innovative enough' but I kinda think that's a complete non-reason to dislike a level. First off, a level doesn't have to be innovative to be good. Second off, this level looks sexy as hell. Third, I've not seen anything like this nearly as well executed before.
The gameplay is super fun but will need balancing to be a fun top 50. Right now some of the wave parts have really impossible VSC gaps in them, and some of the ships are just physically impossible. The gameplay could be really fun if it was a bit easier, and the difficulty feels forced at times!
The decoration has this melancholy dark theme with some rain n shit and i fw it

My second hardest challenge, just behind raw sausage in difficulty... I did find it a little easier, but had a really unlucky time with it yesterday playing for almost 3 hours. I played the level today though and beat it in about 15 minutes! Yippee!!!
This is a super bad challenge, the first spam gets tiring after a while and the blind entry to the triple click is one of the biggest choke points in the level. It's a lot less fun to play than other Electro challenges I have beaten. Overall though, it was fast to learn and fit well enough with my wave skillset. Here's to some more wave skill!!

This is a nice solo 1.7 level by to stumble upon when searching for some new stuff to showcase! This actually came out a year ago, but I want to showcase it now regardless since I think it definitely didn't get enough attention.
The creator @Velorumkawa actually has some progress on this (31% and 69-100) after a couple hundred thousand attempts, which is VERY impressive given the difficulty. @Quivert also has 21-86 and 44%, which is CRAZY!!
This level has a really nice atmosphere and uses some of the Omori soundtrack (I have not played the game don't ask). The decoration is simple but works so well as it represents the music perfectly as does the gameplay. It feels confusing and overwhelming at parts, a good trait for such a hard level. It looks impossible to play, but fun!
Rating: 9/10
Very cool 1.9 level. Approved.
This is some of the best 1.9 deco I have seen, the song representation is really good in this and I actually think it benefits from the limited theme. It works so well! The gameplay seems a bit cancer though, but I haven't played it.

Congrats to @Zoink on verifying this beast...
Yes, he is OK with me uploading this now. Don't get mad chat :(
So here you can inspect the level in 8K glory.
Overall, this level is pretty silly to say the least. It does a lot of silly stuff, and is also incredibly difficult at the same time. Judging by the amount of time this took Zoink to verify, it would be about top 10 in difficulty (based off the fact that Anathema and Spectre took a decent amount less time), though, he is of the opinion that he is just bad at the skillset required to beat this level, so this placement of top 10 is heavily subject to opinion and is uncertain.
Should this get rated? I have nothing against this getting rated... In fact, I would like to see it rated purely so it can place on the list.
In fact, I would like to see it get rated instantly. It is a memorable enough and decently well put together level in my opinion. Rate gravity though while you're at it rob!!

1:47 BONUS - LDM WAVE
Thank you to Vernam for providing me with a copy of the level for showcasing purposes.
This is the much improved KØCMØC remake from cherry team, and I am pretty impressed with the decoration. This could pretty easily be considered a cash grab, unneeded remake - so cherry had to really pull it out of the bag to make it stand on its own as a full project and prove this deserves recognition on its own.
All of the cube parts are masterpieces of decoration, and have some of the nicest deco I have ever seen. My favorites are either the second or final cube parts, I especially like the final one due to the reflection effect used in the ground. It's just genius!! I still couldn't pick a firm fave from all of them.
I have a few problems with the wave parts though, especially at the beginning of the wave the level feels like it relies too much on shaders and shakes for intensity, and the decoration feels completely unrelated to the rest of the level. The level feels more gray and white here versus the contrast-y black and white feel for the other parts of the level. Space is deep black, not the colour of British sky. The same also applies to the final wave part, which is very unique and good on its own, but does not fit with the other parts to form a complete project. I have no complaints for the parts in between, apart from that they struggle to become homogeneous.
There is an LDM version of the wave, which completely changes the decoration and I've included it at the end of this showcase. I actually prefer this to the other wave parts purely based on the fact that it just fits better with the rest of the level. It feels like it belongs with the other parts and it running better is a bonus too. I feel like the full detail will be the most pleasing to the majority of players - but I prefer the LDM version. This level in full detail is probably the most laggy level I have ever recorded - The end screen literally rendered at 1 FPS.
Speaking of the end screen, it is worth the object and resources required to run it - it is one of the best I have ever seen, and the way of displaying the creators at the end is fun and works - very well done to whoever put this together.
Overall, it's a very memorable level and a project that proves in terms of creating groups, cherry team continues to lead the way in creative power for the community.

0:59 Showcase
Thank you to @feijoaoa providing me with an exclusive copy to showcase!
This is an upcoming top 10 extreme demon, to be verified by Dezstro, and upon first time seeing it really blew away my expectations. The level has a prelude, similar to Nullscapes where after you pass it, you can play the full level. It's not that difficult and works for setting up the vibe of the level.
The level makes use of a lot of 2.2 features tastefully without being overly gimmicky. The gameplay is incredibly difficult right now (likely top 1 on this copy) and will be nerfed later. Song representation is good, and it looks fun to play at least for the difficulty. The wave at the drop looks interesting to play, and I can't tell whether it would be fully enjoyable for a player but I really haven't seen anything like it before in a level. It's incredibly unique despite the spammy nature of some wave parts. Extra points for having misanthrope triples.
The decoration is well put together, and uses colour well. Really no flaws with this. Movements are well done and flow with the deco. The level itself is well composed and exciting to watch and I don't get tired or bored with anything.
As for the name.. according to the creator, it comes from a random tweet saying 'Silent Oppenheimer' would be the rawest level name ever and it just became a thing.
Overall, a dope level that I definitely will be keeping my eyes on.... And this being a solo is INSANE!! Good luck to the verifier and playtesting / balancing team! I highly recommend you visit the Feijoaoa channel and read the description of the showcase uploaded there for a lot more information regarding the creation of the level.

Another EXTREME challenge beaten... I decided to play this in an effort to increase my ship skill, and I definitely feel an improvement now. I want to beat something harder than this like gloom some day, but I will do that once my arm has recovered from playing this.
This was pretty enjoyable, and gets pretty consistent. The worst part for me was definitely 35%, I could just never get consistent at the exit of that gravity portal and it kept messing up my runs. I also got pretty unlucky, getting 85% about an hour and a half into playing, only completing the level the next day after 4 hours.
This is still a bit easier than raw sausage IMO, so it is not my hardest challenge. I want to beat more challenges soon as they are fun!!
all bugs and significant skips are being fixed in this level, IMO there are no significant skips in the level that are actually doable but its fun to see how easy it is to break some levels. this video was recorded as soon as the level was released, I am just uploading it now.
The decoration is of course really good, it has a really unique look to it thanks to immax, it really brings out the feel of the level. Overall, I really like this. The way the gameplay flows with the decoration makes for a very intimidating, and difficult level.

Unrated levels are included.
This video is copyright claimed, so I do apologize if there are any annoying mid-roll ads, I cannot control where they are put. I'm not making any money off of them.
Placements on this list, due to including unrated levels, have been formed from the opinions of multiple top players I have asked for opinions. I have presumed some future placement changes from general opinion, wanting a list that will be future-proof for the most time possible.

Re-uploading in 8K and without some weird HDR saturation changes in the old showcase. May as well draw some more attention to this level. Go play it! It's fun and very well decorated.
Rating: 8/10
Overall, a very well executed and themed level. It really has a personality to it which I like, and it feels like the memorable extreme demon collabs of old.
The gameplay is fun to play and works well with the difficulty. Overall, I have no complaints.
Rating: 8/10
I know I was quite critical of this level previously, but it has gone through a lot of improvements since I last has my hands on it, all of them for the better. The level feels a lot more polished and all visual bugs are fixed. The gameplay is sensibly balanced now, and is not impossible, making the level much more accessible and I feel like this will be a commonly beaten level around its difficulty bracket due to how similar it is to levels players will already have beaten / know it, so APTeam have done well to rescue a lot of the old level's shortcomings.
I have chosen to use Dimrain47's original music for this showcase instead of the newgrounds cover as I prefer it that way. At least this will give you an actual reason to watch this showcase if you prefer it this way too, and give it separation from others. It's not much use adding the exact same showcase to a pool of many that already exist.
While the theming is still haphazard and confusing to me, it's undeniably a good looking level. A lot of creators (CDMusic many times it seems) have worked hard on some great parts for this. Though, I do think some of the parts (such as Culuc's, which feels a little too dark and empty compared to the rest of the level) fail to reach the usual standards of their creators.
All in all, this level is improved now. I'm happy to see this FINALLY done, it has taken years, and hats off to Zim, the host. This is, in the grand scheme, a really really good level.
I'm currently not uploading as much as I am working on a few projects that matter a little more to me than uploading levels.
Merry Christmas...

The gameplay in this is super difficult, as expected for a level so high on the ILL. It was pretty fun to bot!
Rating: 7/10
I really like how this level buffs the original, and while it is not the most original idea for a level, it's just very fun and well executed.
Rating: 7/10
This is one of my favorite layouts I have seen in a while, it bears a lot of resemblance to levels such as Kyouki (a level which the creator has beaten) using a Creo soundtrack and fast, complex gameplay. It is so well executed, and despite being a completely un-decorated layout, gives me a lot of hope as to the future of s ice...
The pacing of the gameplay is perfect, the level is fun to play, I especially enjoy the breaks and slowing down of the level, which comes at the perfect times. It is a deep understanding of the editor and the music to which the level is set. This could be criticized for a lack of many 2.2 camera features, but for a level as difficult as this, that isn't really what you are looking for, and having the old 2.1 style camera movement has its own vibe. The soul of this game lives on through levels like these!
This level has really inspired me to start making my own gameplay, and I might be working on something at the moment, but that really depends on how much free time and energy I have to dedicate to such a thing.

The gameplay is next to impossible, and was very much a pain to bot on the 240FPS cap of XDbot, hence the use of noclip on a few frames. This is currently placed at #5 on the ILL, which is pretty impressive considering this is a one player level, and is the only reason I'm uploading this.
Please recommend some better ILL levels in the description! I have about 5 more to upload from now, but apart from that, I don't have much of an idea.

I think the decoration is alright, passive, charming, but nothing special, the focus is really on the gameplay gimmicks of the level and how it's getting so close to being possible now.

So far, players have been sweating away gradually at this level. This is a purely gameplay based project, as all the decoration is familiar to pretty much everyone now.
There's something pretty cool about being able to play something which was once thought impossible. This is just reaching the point where it is indeed easy enough to be beaten, and is probably not even top 1. I've seen a few players able to beat the final wave, and septagon7 basically getting the level in two runs.
Hopefully, this can be verified soon!

This is a classic level by Zylenox, and obviously it remains unrated, most likely due to the imagery in the level.
This is not one of my favourite Zylenox levels (mostly due to not liking the music that much), but the standard of decoration here is really high. The animated and drawn parts must have taken a lot of time to make, as well as the full art style of the level.

Since the original layout showcase of this level I have seen glimpses of a few parts of this level, but a few days ago I saw this preview on Airbound's channel and knew I had to share it. Every part in this level is a 10/10 part, every creator at their absolute best. This can easily be better than white space when finished, no competition. The gameplay is fun, it has a few changes made for 2.2 that make sense. It should be a pretty accessible extreme demon when finished. Overall, I can't wait.
Rating (so far): 10/10 duh
I like the decoration being a simple but really well executed 1.9 style. The level also stays black and white. I wish this amount of dedication was put into more new levels that aren't sequels!

the voices have names. they are BGram and Swiborg
This is a redecoration / remake of silent silhouette. I've never showcased this level, so I may as well do this version. It's semi possible, but very high in difficulty. The decoration has a lot of updates, with a LOT of pulsing, sometimes enough to really freak out your eyes. It's a very 'rough around the edges' level and it definitely needs some polishing before it's a finished project. This level is currently about 80% finished. I do like the decoration of the first wave, staying true to the original but with modern updates.

I really like where this went! It carries the vibe of the original but changes the gameplay and music, making for a very similar playing experience. It has a very Renevant-like sequel energy to it, which I like and don't really find that often.
The gameplay is super difficult, and will be tough for most players to beat. I have no idea of the difficulty, but it should definitely be a mid to upper end extreme demon.

This extreme is based on Camellia's song GHOUL, which is a great piece of music, and this level does it justice. It has a graveyard type theme, which is very fitting for the theme of the music.
The deco is slightly glowy / art style, but it actually looks good the way it is done. Shaders are used sparingly and in good amounts to add atmosphere for the level. Finding this randomly was a little like finding Kyouki for the first time, just being greeted with this amazing unknown level with brilliant gameplay and completely solo made / verified. Except this time, everyone can play it! (at least, those capable of beating something harder than bloodbath)
The gameplay flows super well, and has a practice trigger which aids in learning the level when you have hitboxes enabled. There's literally no reason to hate the gameplay here, though the duals are complicated they are consistent when learnt.
I might actually beat this level some day! Awesome stuff.

Thanks to The Purgatory for providing a copy of this level, to be clear, the level is still under development and undergoing improvements.
To start off, a lot of the parts in this level are totally fine or even great. The predrop is done very well, though the level has too many movements in this part of the level compared to the original to feel completely the same. The animated transitions are cool, but a lot of them feel out of place in this level. I also don't like how a lot of sections of iconic gameplay are replaced with some nothing burger gameplay that is forgettable and adds nothing.
Then the drop comes. First of all, why is it in color? This is meant to be a black, and white, dark level. And then it's really bright too! The first part of the drop looks like you could have taken it from a random glow extreme. Don't get me wrong, the standard of decoration is incredible, but the theming is so off the mark. Everything is too visible, you should hardly be able to see anything. And then another part of iconic gameplay replaced with dash orbs... Just makes no sense. The second half of the drop is better, but still has too much color, and is still way too bright.
The final ship and wave are actually pretty well done, I have little to no complaints about them. It's hard to see and confusing, just like it should be. Again though, the original gameplay has been completely changed.
The level also has an end screen that lasts for literally 18% of the entire level so I did the duty of cutting most of it out. Long endscreens shouldn't exist, especially when the original level's endscreen was instant.
This level feels like satire. Every element of the level is really well made yet it falls short of paying respect or remaining accurate to the original level. It includes a bunch of tropes people have been hating on for years proudly like they haven't been denounced yet. (long endscreen, overuse of glow)
The Purgatory is clearly a talented team of creators, but their hosting needs work. I think they can make some really good levels in the future if they can improve their hosting and pay respect to the original levels they are remaking, OR, here's an idea - make a NEW original level. Why can't people do that?

Wow. This level has to be one of the most amazing levels I have seen in a while! As it turns out, getting a bunch of talented creators together in a stacked lineup to make a lava-factory themed memory level gives you good results.
This feels a little like limbo, and definitely feels inspired by it, but it also manages to be completely original by itself. Despite it having modern memory gameplay basically everything else is different. Every creator is at their best in this, bringing an original and stylistic approach to the very unique gameplay. I especially enjoy the parts with a wide perspective, showing everything so intricately decorated. I really don't know what else to say regarding the decoration, it's just awesome and really well put together. I usually am better at articulating my criticism.
The gameplay is aimed to be around top 5 in difficulty on this copy, however it is planned to be nerfed during the playtesting phase.

The Plunge is a layout I showcased a really long time ago and I am glad to see it is now fully finished! The decoration style is super unique and original, the whole level basically consists of you dodging household objects in some kind of hurricane. I really like it and I think we need more levels of this type! The gameplay flows pretty well though it is on the simpler side so expect timings to be really, really difficult.

Wow! It's pretty rare to see a non-hell or dark oriented Top 1, and this one knocks it out the park. I really like the theming and gameplay of this level, while it does feel needlessly hard, it is fun to watch. The decoration is really well done and stays consistent throughout the level, my only complaint is that the screen can feel out of balance at some times with some transitions being cluttered and empty. But this is a minor and critical complaint. I also really like the choice of music, I don't usually listen to whatever genre this is but the vocals are very impressive and raw.

New Hardest Challenge
raw footage: youtu.be/H0QdbfoQ3X0
Looking to improve my wave / mini wave skills, and also my spam as it is a weak point of my skillset. This is 245 on the challenge list, though I do remember when this was like top 30! Anyways, I'm very happy with having beaten this, despite how easy it supposedly is now. My previous hardest was Shulk ABP.
This is pretty standard for a new generation nine circles level. It looks very similar in style to levels like arctic lights, but feels slightly less polished. There's not much to comment on decoration wise, other than it looks pretty clean. The last post-wave part is probably the best looking part in the level.
The gameplay is incredibly tight, even the predrop and post drop parts are nearly frame perfect at parts. I can't really comment on difficulty but it's definitely near top 1.
