The 2016 ELAN Amphibio ski line has been further upgraded for the 2015/16 ski season. It has been equipped with new Amphibio 4D technology. During the previous three winters, the Amphibio skis were different depending on whether they were left or right; now, the front and back areas of the ski are also different. The front part of the ski is designed to be convex, while the back is concave. The convex front part of the ski enables easier and more precise turning, while the concave back part helps the skier exit the turn more easily and link it to a new turn. We say the skier can enter and exit the turn when he wants to, not when the ski forces him to.
Using "Dual Shaped Titanium", we were able to significantly increase the torsional stiffness of the skis, while decreasing the weight by 10% at the same time. The skis are also 30% more efficient in absorbing vibrations. The new Amphibio line also boasts an attractive minimalist design and ski shape.
