Description: This how we reinstalled the rear window after we pulled it out. Here's a quick list of what we did.
- 1. Removed the window by pushing up gently in the corners. NOTE the seal was already broken and weak. If you have one that's sealed up good you'll have to use a special tool or hire someone to come and pull it.
- 2. Wiped and cleaned the area with 90% rubbing alcohol, a light sand of 220 grit paper may also be a good idea then clean it good.
3. We sanded the old seal with 120 grit paper, wiped it and cleaned it with B-12 Carburetor cleaner then alcohol.
4. Applied a thick bead of Permatex Windshield Silicon Sealer P/N: 81730.
5. Open and propped up the Deck lid.
6. Place the bottom of the windshield up under the deck lid but NOT on the car yet.
7. Place the top of the windshield in the windshield channel up against the roof rail & and pushed it forward.
8. Lay the bottom the windshield down on the windshield channel and close the deck lid gently on it and latch the deck lid.
9. Place two strips of tape on each side of the car about 10 inches from the side of the car on the roof and top of the windshield to keep it from sliding down. Use quality duck tap
10. Push down on the windshield edges all the way around.

9. Place two strips of tape on each side of the car about 10 inches from the side of the car on the roof and top of the windshield to keep it from sliding down. Use quality duck tap
10. Push down on the windshield edges all the way around.
