These ancient ginkgo fruits come from trees that existed long before dinosaurs — and somehow, people still eat them today.

In this video, I take you along as I harvest ginkgo nuts (Ginkgo biloba) from my neighborhood, explain why they smell so bad, whether they’re toxic, how many are safe to eat, and how different cultures have prepared them for generations.
