Burnout Paradise - Car Mods [DGI Vehicle Pack Gameplay] [720p60]
updated
Introducing to NFS Most Wanted, the legendary 'Ring, featuring the GP Circuit and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring layout. The mod is a little rough around the edges; I don't think the scale is 100% accurate and it's possible for traffic to get onto the course in certain spots, but it's still one hell of an achievement. It's crazy to see how far MW '05 modding has come.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
First and foremost, in order to use this map mod, it requires the Most Wanted Map Loader by Zolika1351. It can be downloaded here: https://zolika1351.pages.dev/mods/nfsmwmaploader
Before you install the Map Loader and this map mod, please make sure that you are in the Rosewood safehouse. If you're in any other safehouse, once you leave, you'll simply fall forever.
The author who ported the map to NFS Most Wanted is RGx990/rnz. The map can be downloaded here: https://nfsmods.xyz/mod?id=4609 or, here: nfsaddons.com/downloads/nfsmw/tracks/7818/nurburgring-nordschleife-for-nfsmw.html
The author has stated that this map also works for NFS Carbon and NFS ProStreet. You'll need to download the respective map loaders for those games from the same website as in the first link, and you'll also need to use the debug camera from ExOpts to be able to teleport to the course as the coordinates will not line up properly.
Additionally, here is the author's youtube channel: youtube.com/@rnz9999
This kit was converted to NFS Heat by AiluruZzz. It replaces most of the RX-7's parts, though you will need to install any of the headlights besides the stock ones, and wider fenders in order to fix the fitment.
It can be downloaded by joining the Project Unite Discord server, and finding it in the Community Mods channel: discord.com/invite/3F6vEyp
Or, it can also be downloaded on Nexus Mods here: nexusmods.com/needforspeedheat/mods/129

This video was taken on my 4th run of the Dragon (2 runs going down, and 2 coming back up). At the start, I had about 50 miles estimated 'till empty, I decided to try my luck and see if I could make the whole run on what was left in the tank. Well, I made it about halfway through when I decided to take the car out of N-mode to stop the exhaust popping and thereby reduce fuel consumption. Didn't really matter anyway since about 75% through, I hit E with no estimated distance left 😅
Fortunately I made it to the nearest gas station anyway, and after paying an arm and a leg for half a tank, I promptly continued sending the car until I ended up stuck behind a group doing grandma speeds, until we reached the Fontana resort. Regardless of the circumstances, the weekend was incredible. Having as many Velosters as we did in one place was mindblowing, and the car feels right at home on these mountain roads. I'll definitely be making future trips back to the Dragon!

This is the first time I've seen Rockport ported to a modern game. I know it was converted to Carbon a few years ago, but Carbon is basically MW at night with some updated visuals. I must mention the elephant in the room though. Like I said, the map mod is currently incomplete; Camden Beach is entirely missing, and all destructibles are static. That's why in the video, I avoid any and all props. Additionally, some props, walls, and background scenery either have no textures or are missing entirely. The author has indicated that in a future updated, they'll remove most props, and fix some textures and missing models, hopefully we'll see this update soon.

Below I'll share all the cars included in this video, plus the sound mods I'm using for each one. I wanted to stay true to MW's car list so all the included cars were also in MW '05:
First we have the Porsche Carrera GT using a Porsche 980/01 5.7L Naturally Aspirated V10 sound mod specifically for the Carrera GT:
Car converted to GTAV by Aige:

Next, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren using a Mercedes M155 5.4L Supercharged V8 sound mod, a variation of the M113K specifically for the SLR:

Next, the Subaru Impreza WRX STI 'Blobeye' using a Subaru EJ20 2.0 Turbo Flat-4 sound mod:

Next, the Ford GT. So this sound mod is actually based on a 5.0 Coyote (used in the 2012+ Mustang GT) but with a supercharger slapped on. So technically, that would make it a 5.2L Predator since that's the only factory Coyote with a supercharger (and that is what the author of the sound mod intended, for this sound to be used on the new GT500), but I feel that it fits on the Ford GT (which is powered by a 5.4L Supercharged Windsor V8 btw):

It's no secret, the music in this video is straight from Most Wanted's sound track:
Up first we have the song synonymous with Most Wanted, the first track that plays after the splash screen, Nine Thou (Superstars Remix) by Styles of Beyond:
youtube.com/watch?v=3BKqH6ALm00
youtube.com/channel/UCMkLZBcldmaRxLmpy48Q4zA
Next, we have Shapeshifter by Celldweller featuring Styles of Beyond:
youtube.com/watch?v=0uEiu99sDYw
youtube.com/channel/UCpDmAxyuLoNrP-cek8tEfrw
Next, One Good Reason again by Celldweller. The instrumental version in MW is great but I think the version of this song with vocals is so much more fun to listen to:
youtube.com/watch?v=92TgK9c8kmI
youtube.com/channel/UCpDmAxyuLoNrP-cek8tEfrw
Finally, we have Decadence by Disturbed:
youtube.com/watch?v=-daTpfB-7K4&t=71s
youtube.com/channel/UCveWMJeHgcIUPMnFzd7Vxjg
It's a lot of fun to rev the cars out on the Mulsanne Straight, especially with a manual transmission mod, and the two chicanes on the straight allow me to practice finding the latest brake point that I can manage in order to get through them as fast as I can and not fly off the track. And then on the Porsche and Corvette corners, this is a very high speed section that I really enjoy because it's all about throttle modulation and following the race line as close as possible.

Below I'll share all the cars included in this video, plus the sound mods I'm using for each one.
First up with have a Pagani Zonda R, using a Zonda Revolución sound mod. Both are powered by the same Mercedes M120 6.0L Naturally Aspirated V12 however, so the sound is fitting:

Sound converted from Grid (2019) by Legacy_DMC:
gta5-mods.com/vehicles/pagani-zonda-revolucion-6-0l-v12-sound-mod
Next, we have a McLaren 600LT Spider, using a McLaren P1 sound mod. Both the P1 and 600LT use the M838T 3.8L Twin-Turbo V8. Now of course each car uses an offshoot of the engine and therefore they'd sound a little different in reality, but there's no better sound for the 600LT at the moment so it'll have to work:

Sound converted from NFS Heat by Legacy_DMC:
gta5-mods.com/vehicles/mclaren-p1-m838t-v8-sound-mod-sp-add-on-fivem
Finally, we have the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, using an F136 sound mod specifically from the Ferrari 458. Both the 430 and 458 use the F136 4.3L/4.5L Naturally Aspirated V8, the 458 uses a newer version of this engine with more displacement among other updates, so in reality they would sound a little different. But, there's no better sound for the 430 and I mean, 458 sounds fucking amazing, so it's right at home on the 430:

When I was trying to decide on the soundtrack for this video, it dawned on me, I've seldom included rock in my videos before. So I decided to fix that with this video:
First song is I Was Just a Kid by Nothing But Thieves, poached from NFS Payback's soundtrack:

Second song is Bored to Death by blink-182, from Forza Horizon 3's soundtrack:

Third, we have Bad Advice by Otherkin, again from NFS Payback:
youtube.com/watch?v=nWLyo_TSql0

And finally, we Toxicity by System Of A Down, an all-time great and all around kick-ass song:

I did seven 15 minute sessions throughout the day, each session was probably 6-7 laps. for the first four sessions, I had an instructor in the car with me. The whole time, he's teaching me how to follow race lines, how to pick my brake points, where to start turning in, where to apex and where to turn out, and ultimately how to push the car beyond my comfort zone. I'd say it was around the 4th session where it all just clicked.
All of a suddenly, I'm flying around corners, I've got my braking down to the point that I'm slamming the brakes to shed enough speed coming into a corner, but enough to not engage ABS. I'm tossing the car into corners, and it's just pure grip. It is incredible how much grip these things have. The car is quite literally at home on a race track, it's one thing to say it, but to actually experience it lends you a whole new perspective.
The first half of the video is all footage from my dash cam. I included four of my better laps from the later half of the day. The second half of the video is from an earlier session and was captured by a fellow N driver and friend of mine, @carlos_diaz_585 on Instagram. This event was a lot of fun. I've never done an autocross nor have I ever been on a race track before. I knew the Veloster N had amazing handling capabilities but being able to open it up a little on the track has made me realize that it's capable of so much more. I really wanted to push the car harder because I felt that it was entirely capable of going harder. The car is all grip, even when you hear the tires squealing, you can turn in even more and the car just turns with no understeer whatsoever. but I didn't want to step too out of line in the lead and follow session, so I'll definitely have to come back with my own Veloster N in the future.
Unfortunately this won't be any time soon, on my way home from the event, my car got sideswiped by someone who was not looking while changing lanes, so it will soon be in the shop for a few weeks.
But I don't regret this experience, I don't regret the day itself. Once my car is fixed up, I'm very excited to one day come back to this track, or maybe another one, for a proper track day. Additionally, Hyundai plans to do more of these events all over the country, hopefully more 'Nthusiasts' get the opportunity to experience the N Performance Academy.

I don't know how many people from the early days of my channel are still around, but I last did a video for MCLA in 2012. Crazy to think it's been that long! It's one of the games that sort of started my youtube channel, and I never expected to be able to do any more videos for it. Unfortunately when my Xbox 360 got the RROD, I wasn't in a position to get another one. So I started playing exclusively on PC and of course, MCLA was never made for PC, so I haven't been able to play this game in probably 8 years now
So I'm happy to reintroduce MCLA to my channel. In this video, I play through the first 18 minutes of the game. I do plan on playing through the whole game, but I don't imagine many people will be interested in seeing all that. I hardly expect anyone to watch this whole video lol. I just wanted plenty footage to be able to demonstrate its performance in Xenia and on this rig in a variety of scenarios.

The last video took a look at all three of the Veloster's I've owned, this one will focus exclusively on the N, the mods done to it and most importantly, how it sounds because holy shit it sounds so fucking good. I recommend headphones for this video
So first of all let's start with what the Veloster N is, since a lot of people probably aren't aware of what this car is about. The Veloster N is a high performance trim of the quirky, 3-door Hyundai Veloster hatchback/kammback coupe. It was release in 2018 as a 2019 model year, and was based on the second generation Veloster JS. In the US, it came in two flavors, the base N and the N Performance Package. The base N came with 250 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, the N Performance Package added an additional 25 hp, larger rotors and brake calipers in the front and rear, an active exhaust with a valve allowing the car to become louder and quieter, it added an electronically controlled limited slip differential, and 19" rims wrapped in Pirelli P Zero summer performance tires (vs the standard 18's wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sports). The only transmission on offer was a slick shifting 6-speed manual
For the 2021 model year, the performance package became standard for all Veloster N's, and a new in-house developed, 8-speed wet type* dual clutch transmission was offered for the first time, and while plenty of people love the control and engagement of the manual, it's hard to argue that the DCT doesn't make the N a better car overall. According to CarandDriver, it is the quickest FWD car they've ever tested, reaching 60 MPH in just 4.8 seconds, beating even the current gen Civic Type-R.
*A wet DCT is one wherein the clutches are constantly soaked in their own lubrication system, so as to allow them to cool down faster as well as to take more of a beating on a race track or at an autocross event
The N is track-bred. It was born in Namyang, Korea, but honed on the Nurburgring, that's what the N stands for (both Namyang and Nurburgring). Hyundai wants you to be able to take this car to a track, legitimately race in it, and drive it back home at the end of the day. It's development was spearheaded by Albert Beirmann, the legendary engineer who's had a hand in developing practically every BMW M car from the last 30+ years. I hope y'all are starting to understand why this car is so exciting; imagine one of the main people behind some of the greatest performance vehicles in the last three decades, taking all that he knows and being given free rein to make whatever the hell he wants. That's the Veloster N.
Hyundai will tell you that they don't particular care to make the fastest car, that they didn't make the N for 0-60 times, they instead wanted to exemplify one particular aspect more than anything: fun. They want this car to be the most fun you've ever had behind the wheel, and yeah, I'd say they knocked it out of the fucking' park. Between the absolutely obnoxious pops and bangs from it's functional anti-lag system, its corner-carving capabilities from it's E-LSD and on-point steering, it's gut-punching, but lightning quick mechanical-feeling shifts, and the overall agile and light-on-its-feet impression it leaves you with, it's hard not to crack a smile every time you drive it
And I haven't even gotten into the customizability and features it comes with. The car's characteristics will change depending on the drive mode it's in but throw it in N Custom mode, and you're able to customize everything individually. You're able to make the suspension softer or stiffer, you can make the steering feel looser or tighter, you can make the exhaust louder or quieter, throttle response faster or more relaxed, traction control on, more forgiving of slip, or off entirely, there's more but I'm starting to run out of characters. But it also comes with launch control, a 0-60 timer, a lap timer, a g-force meter, turbo pressure meter, torque meter, it's just a fantastic package overall that's extremely hard to beat at it's price point
But I think that's enough gushing for one description, let's get into the video itself. So my 2021 N is pre-owned and came with a number of mods on it. This video goes over a lot of them but I did forget to mention the Rallyarmor mudflaps and the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (although these were mentioned in part 1). I'm almost at the 5,000 character limit so I unfortunately can't say too much more on the car, so I'll allow the video to say the rest for me

So this is the first of two videos that're a bit different from what I usually upload. I've done irl videos in the past but they're not often and never with my voice included
But as the title states, I recently purchased a 2021 Hyundai Veloster N, so I wanted to do a video for it of course, but at the same time I wanted to talk about my previous two Velosters, because a lot has happened since I last did a video on any of my cars
This video looks at all three cars, and the bulk of it really focuses on the 2016 Turbo, as that's the car I had for the longest time and did the most to thus far. The second video will focus exclusively on the N
So I've owned three Hyundai Velosters now, the first one was a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, 6-speed automatic. It was my first car ever, I bought it with about 64,000 miles on it and was the 4th or 5th owner I think? That car needed work done to it, and I was committed to getting the work done, but ultimately I wouldn't get the opportunity because I had to return the car. The person who sold me the car did not have the title for it, and after three months of him trying to get that title, he just asked that I return the car, and paid off my loan for me
My second car, though I like to consider it my true first car, was a 2016 Veloster Turbo, 7-speed DCT. I bought it with 38,000 miles on it, traded it in with 56,000 miles, and I was the second owner. The first owner left it bone stock, so everything that was done to it was done by me. I've had a lot of ups and downs with this car, but ultimately it's an experience I wouldn't trade for anything
My third and current car is a 2021 Veloster N with the 8-speed DCT. I told myself that there are too many cars that I am interested in to end up in yet another Veloster, so I honestly didn't want the N a few months ago. But ultimately it ended up having the cheapest insurance, and the price of a new one is cheaper than most used STI's or Golf R's in my area. That's ultimately what sold me on the N, there just is not anything else on the market that offers everything that the N does, at its price point
Now my N is pre-owned, the previous owner bought it in March of this year, put 6,000 miles on it, did a bunch of mods to it, then traded it back in. I desperately wanted an N in red, as it's apparently a rare color for the N and I had a red Turbo of course, so I jumped on this one as soon as it was listed. And it's almost as if the previous owner and I were on the same wavelength because the mods he did to this N mirror almost exactly what I wanted to do to the car

First we have the RX-8's 13B-MSP RENESIS 1.3L Wankel Rotary engine, the accel and decel both come from NFS World
(1:45) Then we have the LFA's 1LR-GUE 4.6L V10, accel sound comes from NFS Most Wanted '12 with the decel from NFS Rivals. The decel from MW '12 had a weird whine to it so I went with Rivals, it's really quiet though so I want to see if I can increase its volume
(3:34) Next, is the the AMG-sourced M297 7.3L V12 from the Zonda F. Accel sound comes from NFS World, decel from NFS Edge/Online, this sound is a lot of fun to listen to imo
(5:18) Finally, we have an RB26DETT sound from Most Wanted '12. I don't think I've seen anyone else import this sound into any of Ghost's NFS titles, it's a shame its been slept on because it sounds great
As such though, I've turned its sound from the one I probably hated the most in this game, to the one I now probably like the most, and therefore felt it was good enough to break my now 3-month video hiatus (doubt anyone cares but I literally have not had any video ideas in these last 3 months)
The engine and exhaust acceleration notes were extracted from NFS World, and the deceleration notes where taken from NFS Rivals. Although they're from 2 different sources, the notes all play very well with and complement eachother a lot better than I was expecting. Seriously, like that deceleration whine is just as fun to listen to as the acceleration
Now the sound isn't perfect, those with keen ears will probably hear distortion towards the higher RPMs and especially in the higher gears. Unfortunately I don't think I can help that, it seems to be the case for a lot of sounds from NFS World. I'm guessing the sounds were compressed to hell when input into their TMX containers, and so the missing samples play back as those distortions :(

I only had the muffler taken off, so it still has its stock cat/resonator, I had the muffler replaced with 2.5" piping, into a custom Y-pipe, into two 4" tips
The sound is phenomenal, it has some personality to it, I especially love the deep growl it has now, as well the occasional pops and gurgles when letting off the gas
This video is a bit longer than I wanted it to be, so below I have some timestamps:
0:00 (cold start)
0:43 (some engine revving)
1:24 (some pulls going back and forth)
2:38 (a bunch of interior stuff. At some points I'll lower/raise the windows, I also raised the sunroof to allow some of the sound in with less air noise)
7:28 (a quick walkaround)
I'm pleasantly surprised with the Veyron Edition One, it handles very well. I almost beat my personal best time on New York in my first attempt with it. I also dig how it looks, though I'm not a fan of the rear diffusor. The gold trim is a nice touch. As usual, no customization besides liveries, vanity items and performance parts. It's a very solid summit reward overall
Also can we talk about how absolutely silly some of these vanity items have gotten? I haven't really been paying attention to the game since Heat dropped but man, some of the neons and tire smokes they've added are on some mobile game shit

In its plight to be in every racing game ever, the M3 GTR has made its way to Seacrest County's shores, I just wish the quality of the mod was better, but it's a start so I'm willing to overlook its flaws. It's still an impressive feat nonetheless, hats off to the author DGIorio

DGIorio also converted the Carson Annihilator Street Rod and Carson Extreme Hot Rod to HP '10, both from Burnout Paradise Remastered. They replace the Porsche Boxster Spyder and Porsche 911 GT3 RS respectively:

As well as the Porsche 911 Turbo Cop & Lamborghini Diablo SV Cop, both from HP '10's PS3 version. They replace the Porsche 911 Targa 4S and Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 respectively:

A word of advice: DGIorio did not provide a backup of the original vehicle files, so I would advise creating a backup of the files being replaced, before replacing them
My CPU is a Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7 Ghz, resolution is 2560x1080 (borderless so that the FPS counter from ShadowPlay appears in the footage). Full PC specs at the bottom
(0:33) With my 1070 SC at medium settings, I tended to get 50-60 FPS, it'll stick closer to 50 and dips down into the 40s, never a smooth 60 fps at night
(3:08) With the 2080 Super at the same medium settings, it averages 70-90 fps, it'll do over 100 fps, but occasionally dips into the 60s. With Vsync, it's a perfect 60 fps at night
(5:48) And with the 2080 at max settings, it does 60-80 fps, rarely hits 100 frames and can momentarily dip below 60 in particularly dense areas. For the most part it is an extremely solid 60 fps at night though

There exists a Pro and Elite rank version of both of these parts, same as most of the other passive and active auxiliary items, as well as a mix, Elite rank version that increases both reward types. The Pro version of each item increases the respective reward by 7.5% percent, whereas the Elite version increases the reward by 15%. The Mix item increases both bank and rep by 7.5%
It's a shame these items didn't make it to the game, they're fully functional and have no issues as far as I can tell. A friend of mine suggested that these could be some type of live service item that gets added into the game down the road. Honestly, I hope they're right
Lets start with no busting since that's easier, in Cheat Engine, search for the string Gameplay/Tweakables/Chase_DisableBusting, you should find 3 results. One at a time, click on the results and browse the memory region by right clicking on them then choosing "Browse this memory region" or by simply pressing ctrl+b. Change the string where you see false (Gameplay/Tweakables/Chase_DisableBusting.false) to true (Gameplay/Tweakables/Chase_DisableBusting.true). You will also want to change the extra "e" from the end of false to a dot, i usually do this by hovering over the "e" string, then changing the hex code itself to 00
EDIT: I have since realized that disabling busting actually does not work online. At the time of initially recording this video, I was stuck with an inventory sync error that had kept me offline for 17 days, so I was not aware that this did not work online. I apologize for that
Pictures: imgur.com/a/2FFoM4P
When it comes to disabling damage, my method is not foolproof. As shown at the end of this video, it's still possible to take damage from being reset while in a pursuit, and from spike strips. But both those drawbacks can for the most part be avoided. Bare in mind there are other ways to disable damage, this is just the only method I've found thus far
Nevertheless, start by searching for the string Vehicles/tuning/DefaultTuning/RacerCrashingRules, you should find one result. View the memory region and anywhere in the memory viewer, right click, choose Display Type, then Float. The hex code should change to decimal variables. Look a few offsets above the string you found, you should find two float values of 25.00, separated by three 0.00 values in between them. Change both of these 25.00 values to 1.00, and you're done
More pictures: imgur.com/a/szM2wJE
Both these mods (as well as just about anything done in Cheat Engine) will need to be redone every time you quit back to the lobby, or close and relaunch the game, unless you create pointers to find these addresses automatically in CE. I'm too lazy to do that since I'll be making these permanent mods once Frosty is updated to support Heat anyway
First we have my 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, borrowing the Hybrid V8 the Porsche 918 Spyder. I honestly feel like this engine should be the top engine swap for all modern 911s, at least, so I threw it into the Turbo since it has no other Porsche engines
(1:14) Next it's the Mercedes-AMG A 45 housing the FXX-K Evo's 1,400+ hp 6.3L V12, turning it into a track weapon. This thing sounds and performs like a beast, and is a lot of god damn fun to drive
(2:28) Next, it's the Ferrari 488 Pista fitted with a detuned version of that 6.3L V12, from LaFerrari. In my opinion, the LaFerrari has the best sounding V12 in the game, I wanted to hear its sound on more cars and I felt that it fit perfectly on the Pista, so here it is
(3:46) Next, my Mercedes-AMG GT S Roadster working with the 6.0L V12 from the Pagani Huayra BC. The Huayra of course uses an AMG-sourced V12, so I figured it fit right at home in the AMG-built GT S
(5:06) Up next, a Subaru BRZ fitted with the Forged 2.5L Boxer 4 from the Impreza WRX STI, because it makes no god damn sense that this car doesn't get this engine swap. A friend of mine requested this build and boy did that pay off, this engine is amazing in this car. It sounds mean as fuck, and gets the BRZ to top speed in no time. Previously I had the Regera's V8 in this BRZ, and while it probably accelerated faster, this Forged Boxer 4 makes it a hell of a lot more fun to drive
(6:56) Next we have my Nissan 350Z, getting over 1,400 hp from a Forged 3.8L V6, originating from the Nissan GT-R, however no Nissan gets this engine at all. I speculate this is for balancing purposes especially in the case of the GT-Rs themselves because this engine is on another fuckin' level. I've swapped it into my Nismo & base GT-Rs, and both have all 10's for stats. This 350Z is no different, although I did have to install drag tires to get the acceleration to 10
(8:42) My next custom swap is done on my BMW i8 Roadster, borrowing the Hybrid 3.8L V8 from the McLaren P1 GTR. Figured I'd go from what is probably the weakest hybrid engine to one of the strongest
(10:12) Next is my Honda NSX Type-R, fitted with the Aston-Martin Vulcan's 7.0L V12. The thing looks like a race car so I wanted a loud ass race car engine to match, and didn't want to reuse the FXX-K Evo or P1 GTR
(11:39) Second to last we have the gamebreaker, someone on my previous video requested that I put the Regera engine into a 911 RSR and I'm here to deliver. As though this thing wasn't OP enough, it's very likely the fastest accelerating car in the game now
(13:06) Finally, we have an Acura RSX-S borrowing the Lamborghini Diablo SV's 5.7L V12. I wanted to build a FWD car with a big engine, and what better engine than one of the best sounding Lamborghini V12s to this day?
For what games I have that actually work with this wheel, I've very quickly found that the excessive force feedback makes driving absolutely miserable, and unfortunately most games don't have any options to lower or disable FFB, so I'm hoping that with time and practice, it'll become more bearable
For now I'm just slowly trying to regain the same skills I already have with a controller. In testing and practicing with each of my racing games, I was extremely surprised to find that NFS '15 (which is probably one of the worst racing games I've ever played, due to its absolutely awful handling model) actually feels pretty solid with this wheel, more so than most other games I've tried it with thus far
I do struggle to initiate drifts, reason being I can't go full throttle in most corners as I may end up spinning out and the FFB can make it a huge headache to regain traction, so most corners I end up holding grip through while applying the brakes to combat the understeer. It's a different way of playing NFS '15, its handling model quite clearly prioritizes drifting to grip, but at the end of the day I'm having fun with it
I've always thought the F12tdf was a great looking car, when it was revealed to be coming to TC2, I was really excited for it. Unfortunately though, it's handling isn't the best. It feels extremely stiff, especially at higher speeds, and suffers from some crazy oversteer at times, making it awkward to corner with more often than not. Maybe it comes down to the way I've tuned it, but I've seen numerous other people sharing the same sentiment in regards to its handling so I'm thinking that its an issue with the car itself
It's customization is solid, it doesn't get a whole lot more than what most other Ferrari's in this game get. I like how it uses the same sound as the 812 SuperFast as I am a huge fan of that sound. It's an alright car overall, I just don't see it being very competitive in its current state
The beating heart of this prancing horse is borrowed from the 488 Pista, it uses the same 3.9 twin-turbo V8, capable of 710 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 7-speed DCT, it sprints to 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 211 MPH

I really hope Ivory Tower doesn't make a habit out of introducing what are practically duplicate cars, I wasn't too excited when this one was announced to be coming. After getting my hands on it the sentiment isn't much different, as the Black Knight pretty much performs the same as the Red Fury, and the regular Evo X for that matter. Although, it has no Pro option to adjust the differential distribution, which in turn gives less control over its handling ability. This wouldn't be the first time Ivory has forgotten to add the diff distribution to an AWD car either, they just added it to the RS 5 with the Hot Shots update, and have yet to add it to the Huracan Performante.
So yeah, here's an experimental grip handling mod, created by Pottis. It makes grip handling more viable while almost entirely breaking the brake-2-drift handling style Payback uses, attempting to drive that way will leave you spinning out more often than not. Additionally drift and offroad cars are pretty much useless as drifting and offroad racing has become a nightmare with this mod
This mod is still very much a work in progress. Beyond not being able to do drift/offroad events, the cars tend to feel very stiff and therefore require you to brake quite a bit more when coming into turns in order to not fly into a wall. The AI were not developed to drive this way so they have a hard time with cornering. Additionally when cornering too fast you can easily lose control of your car and end up spinning out, I notice this a lot more with AWD cars, and y'all can see me almost lose control on two occasions during the clip with the WRX STI
Beyond these issues though, the mod is fun to use, and I'm sure Pottis will continue to improve it. Still it's definitely something to get used to, but I'm enjoying it a lot
One last thing, between my last video and this one, I upgraded my CPU, RAM and Mobo, so, as I do with all videos where I'm using new hardware, I'll include my updated setup below

You can't change the color of the car either, so you're left only with the ability to add a livery to it, add vanity items to it and customize its performance, same deal as the Evo X Red Fury pretty much. I have to admit, I'm not a fan of these special edition cars locking down customization like that. When it comes to performance, well I can't really tell if it performs much differently than the regular Cayman. The regular one already is a great car on its own, and the Wasp Edition is as well

A little over a week ago, I bought a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, and I've since fallen in love with it. Well in reality, I've always been a fan of the Veloster; I remember seeing commercials for it when it came out back in 2011, and thinking it looked pretty awesome, and also when the Veloster N was confirmed to be in Forza Horizon 4's launch day car list, I was extremely excited for that car in particular
Now being the owner of a Veloster, I've only grown to like it even more. The Veloster Turbo has a 1.6L turbo inline-4 that gets 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque, and for a car of its size, it makes good use of that power. I've absolutely been enjoying the shit out of it, especially in Sport mode; it feels quick, agile, and looks absolutely gorgeous in that shade of blue. Additionally, mine is the DCT with the ultimate package
UPDATE 9/14/19: So, I ended up needing to return my '13, and replaced it with a '16 Velo Turbo: imgur.com/a/F92PSYm
Now back to this video itself; so I wanted to drive my car in a game. As far as I can tell, the first gen Veloster Turbo was only ever in the Forza series, specifically in FM4-FM7, and FH2. unfortunately I don't own any of those Forza titles, so of the games I have, it's been converted to MW '05, Carbon and GTA V. I have one in GTA, though it has the wrong stock rims, and all the MW '05 conversions look poor. Thankfully though Corvettez06 worked his magic and converted one to Carbon a few years back, and so I ended up throwing together this video
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Y'all can download this Veloster Turbo here, it was converted from FM4 to NFS Carbon by Corvettez06 (Eclipse_72rus), and it replaces the Volkswagen R32: nfscars.net/need-for-speed-carbon/8/files/view/12740
My first impression of this car is very positive, it features unique custom parts not previously seen on the regular Huracan, and all around amazing performance that allows it to be quite the heavy-hitter for hypercar races
The Red Fury Evo is a custom version of the Lancer Evolution X, featuring exclusive visual parts that can't be installed on the regular Evo X, including its spoiler, rims and red tinted body parts. Unfortunately though it has no customization outside of liveries and vanity items, and I don't believe it performs any different than the regular Evo X, though I may be wrong. It performs well anyway, I very much like how it handles, and I also have to hand it to Ivory Tower for absolutely nailing its sound
This Evo came as an exclusive summit reward for earning a platinum medal back during the second weekly summit event if I recall correctly, and as of this video it is still unavailable for purchase. It's speculated that this Evo may return as a future summit reward all over again, nothing has been confirmed but I personally hope to see it become available for bucks in the near future like the summit rewards in TC1 did
Beyond that, I also fixed some cars with broken camera views, such as the Charger police car, its far view was closer to the car than its near view was. I also corrected the camera lowering itself too much on the Armored Truck's far camera view when driving, and pushed the '15 Mustang GT's far camera view back a little more since its near and far camera placements were the same distance from the car. There are other cars where I adjusted their camera placements a little further as well but I can't recall them all at the moment
Finally, a disclaimer: as far as I can tell there's no way to have different camera settings for 16:9 and ultrawide resolutions. This mod was developed for 21:9 monitors of course so what the means is that the 3rd person camera views on 16:9 monitors are zoomed out a lot further. This mod can be used on a 16:9 monitor if you don't mind that, but just in case there are people with 16:9 monitors using this mod I just wanted to make y'all aware of that
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
I dunno how many of y'all are still playing Payback on ultrawide monitors but y'all can download this mod below. Use with the Frosty Mod Manager:

Music Information: the background music in this video is an instrumental version of Future's Mask Off. The original video I got this particular instrumental from has been deleted but I found another that sounds just as good:
youtube.com/watch?v=D7BZLOn7E-w
Maybe it was due to licensing issues, I've heard that McLaren and Mercedes don't really get along anymore, so it's hard to get the license for this car approved by the both of them... though that begs the question, how the hell did The Crew 2 get the SLR 722 then? I dunno, hopefully the SLR returns to Forza eventually. For now, we have FH3's dev build, and although the dev build may run like shit, and it also may get boring with no online play, I feel that it is entirely worth downloading for this car alone
Still can't be assed to come up with anything different to say so once again, lets just copy the description over from the last few videos. No one reads this shit anyway so why not. So yeah, I was surprised to find that all of the games on my computer actually work decently with this aspect ratio. However, most of them do have their HUD elements floating about a quarter from the edge of the screen since that's where the edge would be on a 16:9 monitor of course, and then there are others that don't play nice with this aspect ratio and instead are zoomed in a bit too far (to match the frame height of the game to the monitor). I don't know how much that can be helped but I still have a regular 1080p monitor hooked up as my secondary display, so I can easily play those games there anyway
Just like MW '12, NFS '15 properly utilizes the full width of the screen (except in the the startup screen, loading screens, the pre-race intro, the map screen, again pretty much anything except actual gameplay) and I have to say, I fucking love how this game looks on this monitor. I don't know what it is but holy shit NFS '15 looks stunning in ultrawide, legit It's to the point that I'm actually bothering to play the game again simply because I love how it looks that much

I will now shamelessly copy the description from my previous two videos onto this one because my initial thoughts pretty much cover all that I want to say and also just in case this is the first video in this series of mine that you're watching, but to reiterate I was surprised to find that all of the games on my computer actually work decently with this aspect ratio.
MW '12 surprisingly is one of the very few games that actually takes advantage of the full screen width, at least the HUD does because there's still black bars in the pause menu... and in the startup screen, and loading screens, and the rendered pre-race cinematics, and the post-race results, and pretty much everywhere that isn't direct gameplay I guess

ProStreet would be one of those games. like Most Wanted, the HUD elements don't stretch the whole width of the screen, and the game zooms in to the point where the background in the menus, the race day lobby and pre-race intro are all cut off. I'll just have to deal with it, or play PS on my 1080p monitor, no big deal
additionally this video was originally recorded in 5120x2160 just like the previous MW one, but the max res that ShadowPlay can record in is 4096x4096. As such, ShadowPlay downscaled my footage to 4096x1728. However like I said that doesn't seem to matter anyway since the video is still available in 4k

I was surprised to find that all of the games on my computer actually work decently with this aspect ratio (21:9). Though, most of them do have their HUD elements floating about a quarter from the edge of the screen since that's where the edge would be on a 16:9 monitor of course, and then there are others that don't play nice with this aspect ratio and instead are zoomed in a bit too far (to match the frame height of the game to the monitor). I don't know how much that can be helped but I still have a regular 1080p monitor hooked up as my secondary display, so I can easily play those games there anyway
Most Wanted, thanks to ThirteenAG's widescreen fix, thankfully does not suffer from this issue. As y'all can see the HUD doesn't stretch the whole width of the screen but I don't really mind, I think the game in ultrawide looks awesome regardless
Finally, I just want to mention that this video was originally recorded in 5120x2160, but the max res that ShadowPlay can record in is 4096x4096. As such, ShadowPlay downscaled my footage to 4096x1728. However that doesn't seem to matter anyway since the video is still available in 4k so... yeah, nice
