lens/camera info: Camera: Panasonic GH5 camera (MFT) The lens is a monster. Its a 100-400mm on a micro four thirds mount (so equivalent to 200-800mm on a full frame!) that horse was about 500m away! the GH5 shoots in 4k but I crop in to 1080p in the edit for an even closer zoom (x2) - you see me zoom back out to 4k view just at the end. So with full zoom on everything the frame looks like a 200-800mm on a mft (equiv to 400-1600mm full frame) at 1080p - yikes!!!

Basically I made this little guide so i can watch it and remember how to solve a Rubik's cube the way i'd want to be shown - for when i inevitably forget how to do it. There are loads of great tutorials out there but none that showed me exactly the way i do it (or the way I remember it). I mean there probably are, but i've not found them. Anyway here's a rundown on how i solve a Rubik's cube, i think it's the basic beginners method but it seems simpler (to me at least) than the others i've seen, I've really tried to highlight the easiest stuff and keep it about the spatial L/R symmetry. As usual i'm not an expert (obvs!) i just love how simple this is.
I'm hoping to spark some enthusiasm in someone to try out that old Rubik's cube that's been gathering dust for years! It's really fun and actually not that hard :)
I've been trying really hard to get quicker at solving a 3x3x3, so far my fastest solve is approx 60 sec. I'm going to start more complicated methods now i think to get that quicker, but that will require more algorithms and therefore it's likely i'll forget my above beginners method (which is why i made the video now).
I'm probably considered ancient in the cubing world, so that's why i have such an odd way of learning things like this, i just can't learn longs lists anymore, it's too hard! er... i think I'm going to struggle at CFOP :(

This video is a quick look any the new lathe... It's a Boxford AUD. It's a metric lathe at 22 inches between centres. This is vintage machinery but that's not a bad thing, apparently vintage lathes are awesome (well i'm hoping) also they are good value for money. I've also got a new 'intro' that hopefully presents what i think the channel is really about... having a go at stuff especially if your not an expert! Well, having a go at things is what makes me happy and it's what I've been doing all this time ever since my first video about learning to paint! I've been watching the amazing beginners lathe series by @Blondihacks so i hope i'm not going to screw up too badly when i get this beast going for real :) Blondihacks is just awesome i forgot to put a mention of her in the video but i'll do it on the next lathe video.

I make it from solid bronze. And i polish the coffee tamper until it has a mirrored base. Not just a shiny base... a mirrored base!
The quick story behind this is... we got a well used but awesome espresso coffee machine off of eBay a few weeks ago, and ever since I've been obsessed with making the perfect coffee. We didn't have a tamper, so I 3D printed one, then i realised i should just cast a solid bronze one - because why not make the shiniest most beautiful coffee tamper in the world?
in part one i made the 3D printed patterns and made up the green sand mould and did the bronze casting. In this part (part two) i grind, sand and polish it up to a super super mirror finish. The base it literally like a mirror, and solid bronze mirror! Incidentally this was a little taster into seeing how much polish bronze can take... I will be doing a bronze mirror in the future (like the ones from 1000's of years ago :)
For all you budding baristas out there, i will release the file for my PLA coffee tamper so you print your own if you want... just let me know if you want it. I can also include the files for the castings including the feeders etc... just let me know.
Has it made me better at making coffee? Nope! but it's so lovely to use! I fancied making a posh bronze one! To be honest I don't need much excuse to make something from bronze. So casting a gorgeous bronze coffee tamper is the task for today! I based the design on a simple sphere for the tampers head which extends down to a nice solid bronze circular plate at it's base. This coffee tamper is going to be awesome! The coffee tamper patterns were 3d-printed in PLA. I used these 3d prints to sand-cast the tamper (using green-sand). FYI the bronze i'm using is AB3, a special British naval bronze, known for it's lack of magnetic interference. AB3 is also a lovely colour bronze, but it has a small amount of aluminium in it, which means it shrinks like a so and so! which is why i have feeders all over this thing!

Including making a bronze cannon, an axe, a tamper, molly trolley, a sand muller and much much more. I go through just a few (yes i have LOADS more) 3d printed PLA casting patterns I've already printed. In order to turn into aluminium or bronze versions. Making a cannon will be very interesting, also the 3d printed cannon pattern has some interesting custom sprue and feeders parts built into it. Because the homemade cannon will be cast on it's end, i will also have to make another flask just to fit it. I will continue to do regular metal casting with green sand, but i will also be doing more lost pla casting, lost wax casting (investment castings in general - i have a big bag of investment plaster to use up!) - i'll be needing another crucible at this rate! As usual 3d printing will be playing a big part in my casting, i just love 3d printing anyway let alone for casting! making the 3d printed patterns is half of the fun for me! I will probably continue to concentrate on bronze casting but i will do a bit of aluminium casting too when the need arises.
also in 2020 i'll be doing more: painting, electronics projects (safe cracking robot) and a few garden orientated things like a garden folly, a mini digger and a diy underground bunker! (why not!).

Today i do a test casting. I cast the modular flask pattern version 6.7. As always these patterns are 3d printed at home by me. It is a very promising casting indeed! I cast the two flask sides using LM25 a really nice alloy of aluminium. The casting flask patterns are modular in nature, meaning a pattern of any size or function can be assembled together in no time! i also use 3d printed feeders on this casting as well as a complete 3d printed runner and gate system, with a spin trap too.
I do lots of 'new' things in this video: I make a new large wooden flask! (to cast the metal flasks in). I make a new shank to hold my new larger crucible. I try out a 3D printed spin trap and gating system (even the sprue is 3d printed) I pour some lovely metal (aluminium) casting flask sides!!!
there s a small 10 second section with no sound i'm not sure what happened there! i didn't have the heart to re-render the whole thing.
In the next episode i will cast the exact same patterns (the same 3D printed gates and spin traps and everything)... EXCEPT i will do the casting with NO FEEDERS... i wonder what will happen??

All 3D prints in this video were printed in FAST mode with 0.2mm layer height (so nothing fancy!), also I didn't do any smoothing or prep to the 3D prints either. They are all in 'just off the 3D printer' condition. I want all my modules and patterns to be as basic and easy to print as possible :)

Just a reminder these are 3D printed PLA patterns to assemble in a modular fashion that you can use (and reuse) make metal casting flasks of any size! At the end of the project i will release a whole set of designs (various sizes and modules) for people to print themselves or alter or do what they want with. These modular casting flask patterns can be used with green sand casting or petrobond casting to make a flask of any size you like.
Special thanks have to go to my mate Perry (SwDweeb). Perry's idea and my subsequent rehashing of it, i think, has really been huge to the evolution of this latest flask design. It has made a HUGE difference. It's also really given me some much needed pep! you will see what i mean when you watch! War Grade (Andy) needs a special mention too, he's come up with a nice idea to remove some slots from the wings at the casting stage. I do have a feeling that some of you may have mentioned something similar but (as i said in my last video pinned comment) i have trouble understanding long technical worded stuff, and i'm not trying to detract from your awesome idea, i just maybe didn't get what you were trying to say at the time. If this is the case, i apologise. War Grade sent me an image and even I can understand that :)

Also i show my long wanted version of Perry's spin trap, i will put it in the drag then put the top part of the spin trap in the cope and hopefully it will mean a nice casting (and might even save me some time!).

The results are surprising...
I'm hoping this project will amuse the DIY "metal casting at home" crowd. Particularly those home casters with 3d printers.
i'm hoping eventually to have a lovely 100% reusable metal casting flask pattern that anyone can 3D print and assemble at home, then with it they can go to the shed and fire up the old foundry burner and then cast themselves a set of modular flask sides to assemble later into a fully complete metal casting flask! Not a small challenge...
i started this wanting a metal flask and now i'm into it for completely different reasons, i'm enjoying the conversation we're having so much , and i'm loving the way the questions, tips and comments are shaping the way it's all going. I'm loving how you guys are pushing me to think in completely different ways!
So unlike a more conventional flask that has mainly straight and flat sides (and is usually cast in one go), this one is all about flexibility, i want someone to be able to cast any size flask with the same modular flask patterns and having the flask patterns modular is key to this. It might not work out but my 'dream' would be to be able to cast any size anytime with a minimum of fuss once you have some flask modules 3D printed!
There is still no guarantee that this whole, design then 3d Printing then casting in aluminium process, will end up with a metal flask that is any good... We'll have to wait and see! that's the exciting part, working it out and trying stuff out, using the old noodle and coming up with changes based on the previous castings or amazing ideas that you guys have come up with!
If it doesn't work out i'll just make a normal flat sided flask and show you that instead, but while the iron is hot i'm striking as hard as i can! I just want to make my own homemade aluminium casting flask bejeezus!
I'm casting in aluminium (LM25) and it's lovely stuff. I'm going to have to use my biggest crucible soon!

This is the first casting of the Modular Flask system (I cast the version 2.0 design). I cast it in LM25 aluminium. This video is long, i know. But a lot happened! Any further castings in this modular flask project should be in much shorter videos from now on... as i feel I've covered everything properly in this video. Basically the moulds will be the same from now on, it's just the metal flask patterns that will get updated for each design. On future castings i'll probably just recap the design changes and go straight to the pattern removal, then go to the pour and then to look at the result! - much neater and shorter! Hooray! in this video i turn the modular 3d printed patterns into fully fledged metal casting flask sides! It's nearly as good as 3d printing metal direct (i can't wait until that technology is cheaper). There are many mistakes and many areas that can be improved upon!

I had no idea you would love this "re-usable modular flask pattern" idea so much, i'm SO chuffed. It's really inspired and motivated me to get this right and do the 'Modular Flasks' project the justice it deserves.
I've been at this non stop since the first video, but i'm so excited that you guys are into it's. It's been really motivating, there was a small panic at one stage as the 3D printing of the parts ground to a halt (as i'd run out of PLA), but a quick rush order soon sorted that out.
I've been 3D printing literally non stop since the first video went up. Unfortunately my Prusa I3 Mk3 (my awesome 3D printer) lives in my office, which is below our bedroom... so now Nikki wants a holiday to get away from it all! So i must thank Nikki too, for putting up with me going on about the modular flasks and the 3D printing noise, non stop.
There have been lots of changes since the first video, too many to go into here, but without giving away any spoilers, the clips are no more! The mechanism for holding the individual modules together has changed completely I won't give it away now, but special thanks must go to Paul Reed for persisting in our conversation (when i wasn't getting it!), and emailing me the image that changed everything. All DIY or hobbist metal casters, soon realize that the wooden flasks (the item that holds the sand together when you sand-cast something), is not ideal. It catches fire in an instant and warps and moves, and keeping the locating pins nice and accurate on a moving wooden frame is not ideal either, and eventually it just needs replacing.
So I wanted to make my own metal casting flasks. And in order to cast a metal shape you first need a pattern of that shape.
So that's what this modular flask project is about, making a pattern shape, that is fully modular and re-usable to arrange and re-arrange to your hearts content, to make flask patterns. So these patterns will be printed on a 3D printer, and then you can use your own unique 3D printed flask pattern to make aluminium flasks of any shape, length and depth!!! In fact with modern slicing programs, you can scale any axis individually before you print anything, so you could even scale things up if you wanted. Although that does bring the possibility of having things too thick for casting well, but that is why i intend to release at least two versions of the modular flask designs
First though i think it would be prudent to make the simplest and smallest one work first. And only then expanding the designs.
Everyone who does some casting at some point realizes that wooden flasks while cheap and easy(ish) to make, are not ideal... Wooden flasks are inherently combustible and will warp and move over time which makes them not ideal for the very high temperatures of castings. Every time my wooden flask sides catch fire (almost every time i do a casting!), the nice flat surface gets burnt down to a rough charred hollow, which really affects the accuracy of the mould making, and ultimately means they have a short shelf life.
Metal flasks are the answer to this problem. they can be purchased ready to go, but they are SO expensive. and also quite small (unless you are willing to part with huge sums of money!).
I'm hoping the reusable modular aspect of my design will be useful to DIY metal casters, particularly those who have access to a 3D printer. So this is mainly for those that do metal casting at home, we are all on a budget so every little helps.
These are just prototypes at the moment, but if they work out (even just glue-able ones) i will release all the STL files for anyone to use. it would be amazing if we had have a basic community flask pattern that we could all use. I'm not even saying this prototype is the one that people should use, i'm just exploring the ideas :)

These green PLA plastic 3D printed patterns, will be used to sand cast an aluminium casting flask (eventully :)
So the basic idea is to try to make a modular casting flask 'system', where there are just a small number of main parts, which can be glued or clipped together to form larger casting flask patterns, which can then be used to make aluminium casting flasks (boxes that the casting is done in).

Test casting the modular flasks will be next. I'm a little worried the clips wont cope with it, but only trying will tell!
The two flask side patterns i'm holding in the thumbnail wuld be just half of the cope or drag (the two "halves" of one flask). So i'd need to cast four times what i'm holding to make one flask. then i have to joine them together somehow, then make a pin/alignment thingy then test them out with their own casting! A long way to go but i think it will be a great series :)
yet again it's a case of 3d printing for the win!!!

It's an arduino-like WIFI controlled door lock, that i have built into to a kitchen cupboard. It is VERY simple, you could totally do this too!
This wifi enabled door lock is controlled by my own DIY app, made using Blynk. Using Blynk, it's really easy to make your own DIY app, to control all sorts of home automation thingies. I've made the Blynk door lock app exist only on my wife's phone. So only she can open the kitchen cupboard. Finally the doughnuts are safe!
I made this door lock using a Wemos D1 Mini, it's just like an Arduino, except way faster more powerful, cheaper AND WITH WiFi built in!!! and using the Blynk app (my first go at this) it was very easy to make. It's free too! I altered the basic Blynk servo example to my needs, adding in the extra functionality of the status LED's (red for danger the cupboard is unlocked, and blue for it's locked) and an optical switch to the lock that sends a notification email once it's been opened.
This simple wifi enabled smart lock could be altered for much heavier duty use and could even work for full automation with RFID or your front door lock? This is the small start in my smart home upgrade.

App controlled door lock.Julian Makes2019-10-25 | The Doughnut Keeper 2000 (tm) is the latest in home gadgetry. It is an internet enabled kitchen cupboard lock! Finally my wife can keep the doughnuts safe from those who would wish to scoff them all!
I used the Blynk platform to make this device. I used a Wemos D1 mini and the arduino IDE, the D1 mini has wifi and is very powerful. With a servo, some LED's and an optical switch... the Doughnut Keeper 2000 was born! This app controlled kitchen cupboard lock is an "Internet of Things" device, meaning it can be controlled over the internet by a smart device like a phone or tablet with my home made app on it. It's very simple but works really really well, too well (sadface). I forgot to add, i tested this app and door lock while on my run. I was about 4km from my house with my phone and the app still locked and unlocked the cupboard door perfectly!
This basic example is a very simple start to some cool home automation using arduino and the Wemos D1 mini. There are many arduino projects but i didnt see a wifi app controlled door lock and i can see why, the lack of a built in wifi is a problem. This ESP8266 based lock is perfect for simple projects like a secret door or secret lock where you want the lock to be descreet. You could make it more robotic with more logic and perhaps use RFID to open for certain people and not others. I also didnt see an example of a lock using the Blynk App. i've been doing DIY and crafts for ages but this is my first foray into wifi and internet controlled anything, it was suprisingly easy with the blynk app. And best of all it was free!!! check out the video to see how and why (lol) it came together!

We get to see inside the mould (well inside the mold as if the cope was glass). I cast my channel name just in case some cool footage occurred... i was fully expecting the glass to explode everywhere! Mistakes were made but overall things were pretty good!!!
Also today's video served a few other purposes... To have a bit of fun doing something unknown and possibly create a cool little intro video clip for the channel. Inadvertently i may have also discovered a method of toughened glass 'engraving' - this is the first time i've heard of anything engraving tempered glass.
Oh yes... as it was 'a bit of fun' with a high chance of failure i didn't record any talkie pieces to camera, which meant editing this thing took a quarter of the time a video of this length normally would. Also i could concentrate my editing time on the interesting shots and edits, rather than spending my time removing beer belly's, um's and er's (these three things take up 90% of my time lol). So if you enjoyed this 'different' video, please let me know, as i'm keen to do more of these. I'm starting to see why this style of silent(ish) video are so common on YouTube. They are a simple kind of thing. I really enjoyed the change.

Specifically making a bronze dagger! I cast a bronze dagger using green-sand. This dagger is entirely my own design. I decided to make the dagger with a wavy blade (serpentine or flamberge). I know nothing about knifes or daggers, so this was purely an exercise in designing something interesting to cast. I have since asked my friends at Reddit what this kind of knife blade design is called, and they came up with the following very helpful replies: Wavey blade or Kris, but in knife size. A Kriss is usually snake-like (serpentine knife)... but mine is a symmetrical version so i guess, "symmetrical Kriss" is best... Flamberge was also mentioned a lot (flame-like). and this does accurately describe the flame-like appearance of the blade - kind of undulating. If you know what this kind of knife is called please tell me in the description! I cast the knife in solid bronze then filed, sanded and polished it to a lovely shine. I also try to sharpen it for once (my first time sharpening anything!). As usual i started with a design, then 3D printed the design and used those prints (two halves) as patterns for the casting. I use scratch vents for the first time too! (thanks Perry! - link below)...

I have done Lost wax casting once before but I've been wanting to do lost PLA for ages, I've been 3D-Printing for years and casting for only one or so. So i found a very cheap Ebay kiln near(ish) to me and i fix her up and get her all functional. There was no guarantee it would work - so it was cheap! oh it was VERY VERY HEAVY too!!! i also make a steel base wih my awesome (lol) welding skills and put wheels on it

I fired up the DIY foundry and using a 3D printed pattern and the green sand casting technique, I cast a solid bronze boule. It's essentially casting a sphere which is very hard to do! It is very over regulation weight but that doesn't matter this boule is an award! i'm guessing the original bronze boule were either hollow or were cast with a bronze alloy MUCH higher in aluminium (to keep the weight down).
The problem with casting a sphere is SHRINKAGE!!! omg it's the WORST shape to cast. Much of casting this boule was about trying to minimize shrinkage.
Also sorry for the recent channel inactivity, i'm back on it now! I've been very busy IRL and i'm doing some interesting projects that are not short, so they are difficult to make little videos about.
some terrible news: While uploading this video, I've just heard that Grant Thompson has died, what a massive blow to the YouTube community. The guy was a tour-de-force and his videos were very entertaining and hugely popular. The first 'casting' videos i ever saw were on Grants channel. And he probably single-handedly kick-started the whole backyard casting phenomenon. I'm fairly sure the continued popularity of home casting as a hobby is pretty much down to him alone. He was always entertaining and will be very greatly missed.

YES! with graphs & first casting and lettering testJulian Makes2019-05-31 | I've made a better burner for my DIY home furnace/foundry. My previous burner was 'ok' (quite slow and VERY NOISY)... so i really wanted a better solution... So i made "the little burner that could"! SPOILER ALERT - IT'S BLOOMING AMAZING! I'm still using Diesel as i don't have a ready supply of used motor or veg oil but i reckon this thing could match any propane burner out there! Its also cheap to run (i do tests to find the costs at the end). I've binned the siphon nozzle burner and i'm just squirting the diesel neat into a red hot chamber now - no nozzle required! i use a modified Dyson vacuum cleaner as the air supply - it makes an awesome blower!

I have a special video today where i try to make a device that helps me remove patterns from the sand without destroying everything! Is it a "pattern Puller"??? In all seriousness i do find it hard to carefully remove patterns without spoiling the impression, and now i'm doing castings with much more detail, so the stakes are higher! I then test this device. I also cast two very cool items! A special playbutton each for Conspiracy Catz and Creaky Blinder... and they are not your average play buttons either! I also show my new burner design (it's amazeballs). I will have a separate video up in the next few days about that. I'm 100% sure pattern pullers exist in the really world but i honestly couldn't find any, anyway i find it easy to remove pattern from the sand now! woop woop!
The guys that have received their play buttons (yes i've posted them out!) are brilliant YouTubers to watch, they are both very funny and debunk crappy pseudoscience. Alfie is a Jack Russell. While some of my pet portraits are quite detailed this one is quite abstract and i really like the resulting oil painting. I also mention the #2019openersOpen, talk about some of the details of how to enter (basically watch SWDweeb's video below to find out more).
This oil painting of Alfie the Jack Russell is 12in x 12in and uses fine artist quality oil paints. I hand mix them before I start so that i can mix colours more quickly and then i find it doesn't 'stall' by painting process too much. I paint differently to a lot of artists, usually artists paint an area then move out from it. I tend to paint the eyes, mouth and nose, then all bets are off and i'll go anywhere i fancy. Basically i mix a colour i can see then put blocks of that colour down where-ever i can see it on the painting. Then i move on to a different colour. This does mean the painting take s a little while to be come recognizable but it suddenly comes together and i absolutely love that moment. This way i paint is also the reason i like to have a reasonably accurate drawing or at the very least a silhouette with the eyes, mouth and nose marked accurately. Once I've got the Eyes, mouth and nose pinned down i hardly use the pencil drawing after that, i'm just splodging colour down where-ever! life is too short to slavishly 'colour in' a pencil drawing. I do tend to keep accurate to the silhouette though - at least until the background is in :) I hope you enjoy the video. I'm nearly on 2000 subscribers! i cannot believe it! #oilPainting #portraitPaintingPainting a dog in the style of a Rembrandt * Painting an old master * Painting like Rembrandt * GEOJulian Makes2019-04-04 | I'm not really painting an old master but in this video i do attempt to get that 'old master' look by making the background very dark and the highlights very bright. I've also tried to capture the sunlight as it shines through the painting from left to right. Casting brilliant shadows which help the forms. Rembrandt was the inspiration for this one. This is sort of a Rembrandt master-copy without the copying part! I've done a mastercopy before of a Liepke and i loved doing it. Geo was a great model (once he'd finished his chew! :) I tried to get the sun hitting his face but still leaving his back and back kegs dark. I had to do a fair bit of image manipulation to get the final reference image though. I artificially darkened the background until almost black and then darkened Geo the dog too, to keep him as natural as possible. Chiaroscuro is the thing i'm after (is it a noun?), Chiaroscuro is basically an effect of contrasted light and shadow. I also show my colour mixing in this one.

They will be gifts for two great friends that have given up their time to lead our kettlebell sessions for the last nine months. Each kettlebell is custom made to a different weight but still keeping the same size. Each kettlebell is cast using a greensand mould. I use a kettlebell shaped pattern to make an impression in the sand for the molten bronze to fill. The bronze is melted in my home made furnace and then poured (very carefully!) in to the kettlebell shaped impression! After a lifetime of filing sanding and polishing it honestly looks like i've got two solid gold kettlebells - SO CHUFFED with these :)
I will make another custom kettlebell soon for myself, but this time it will be a bit heavier and a slightly different design - mainly because i've seen a competition kettlebell and they look SO cool - although mine will bw way smaller!

Trouble is, i want to make them out of fancy gorgeous gold bronze!!! - because bronze is AMAZING and gold and AMAZING, but it is VERY expensive and can be very tricky to use too... I try to overcome these issues in this short series. These homemade kettlebells will be fully custom one offs.

#CastingAnAward #CastingAMedal #MedalCastingWoodpecker Nest Box from a LogJulian Makes2019-03-04 | Hi friends! i'm still waiting on my fancy bronze order to turn up, so i make a woodpecker nest box instead of doing some casting :) I've also just finished a commissioned portrait of a dog and i'll be uploading that soon (once it's been gifted to the dog's owner). My nice neighbour sorted me out with two lovely big logs to make this woodpecker nest box (thanks Ashley!), I used my chainsaw to remove the center of the log and make a lid, then put a lead roof on it and put it in a tree so i can see it from the living room! (it's still about 100ft away - so they'll get lots of privacy). Putting it up in the tree was pretty difficult on my own, as it weighs so much. Also at the end you can see lots of woodpeckers I've filmed (one yesterday and some babies i filmed last year). Here in Britain we have the 'Green woodpecker', 'Greater spotted woodpecker' and 'Lesser spotted woodpecker'. This nest box should suit any of those but i think the larger Green woodpecker will have to make the hole a lot bigger (not a problem i think!). I hope to be able to see a woodpecker family in the nest-box one day! I hope you enjoy the video :)

Today i make another playbutton BUT this time it's very eventful lol. This one is for the "Flight The Flat Earth" channel, it's a brilliant channel (and also hilarious). Craig (who runs FTFE) is a scientist too and he's just surpassed 5000 subscribers. He's also been doing a whole week of "5000 subscriber" celebrations on his channel, so i thought i'd try to get it to him ASAP... so here's a little gift for him. I've posted it over to him so he should have it by now :)
Even though its another playbutton, this video is quite entertaining i think :p i'm saying no more.
The playbutton is solid aluminium and i try to get it polished up to a mirror finish. MISTAKES WERE MADE :(
I will do something else in my next video, i promise it won't be another playbutton!... hmm unless i make a solid gold playbutton? hmmm i'm going to email the royal mint, i'm sure they'll help out.
I've got some options for the next video, it's either a kettle-bell in bronze (that'll be tricky!) or a nice chefs knife from Damascus steel. Let me know in the comments if you have any ideas on what i should make next :)
