KNOW YOURSELF. A Journey into the power o knowing yourself.
Thank you for your being here where you can feel safe. We honor your presence and will keep this attendance confidential. Make yourself open to new possibilities.
We invite you to release the tensions of the day. Relax in knowing this is for you without charge and without gimmicks. No hypnosis. We will explain how we are qualified. But first and foremost anticipate the healing without expectation.
Be open to take on our recommendations to facilitate your individual healing.
Breathing, posture, empty the mind.
Anyone can exist in an environment with the toxic air we breathe. The harmful foods that are so temptingly available. The pressures of career and family duties.
So, let us purify ourselves now to allow our internal mechanism of our body to turn from fight or flight to LOVE. It is the golden energy of Love that heals and nurtures the ill health. The Love you will raise up from the depths of your soul is waiting for you to give directions and flow to the parts of your mind and body that need the Love energy. Where there is Love, there is no room for illness or pain.
Consider that all of us had our share of disappointments and have been saddened by the mistakes we have made and errors that others have made against us. This is exactly the place to go to where the emotions live in your heart and mind. Revisit the experience to have it live again knowing you are transforming it with purifying it with the Love you have retrieved. Be the witness to it and learn a lesson which is why this happened in the first place. Your life is a classroom. Make the choice to bring Love to every moment good or bad. Don’t worry when your heart is broken. Don’t panic that your heart will not get broken in the future. Your heart with Love heals to a point where it is stronger and more resilient.
A remote healer. Learn the HOW TO for self-healing.
However, Michael was not just involved in Muktanandas Siddha Yoga for sixteen years and a manger of his ashrams in India, Australia and USA, but spent intimate time with Bhagwwan Shree Rajneesh, (now known as Osho) of the Orange People, famous for his Oregon commune and the owning ninety-three Rolls Royce motor cars. He also spent time with Da Free John, U.G. Krishnamurti, H.W.L. Poonja and the famous female yogi saint of India, Anandamayi Ma. He encountered Sathya Sai Baba the worlds most popular guru. He roomed with Baba Ramdas (formerly Richard Alpert, partner with Timothy Leary, both of Harvard renown). He explored mind powers in Silva Mind Control, The Forum (now known as Landmark Education) and the Avatar course. Michael spent time with New Age luminaries like Marilyn Ferguson, author of the one-million best seller The Aquarian Conspiracy and was personal friends with Ingo Swann, the renowned psychic research subject with Stanford university who had the greatest strike rate of accuracy recorded, and who later worked with the CIA for twelve years developing remote viewing protocols for psychically discerning the nature and whereabouts of certain military installations behind the Iron Curtain.
Christopher Alaya Love, born with a different last name in San Fransisco, CA. in 1954 to alcoholic abusive and neglectful parents.
His father, a car mechanic, started the physical torture of his second son at a very early age.
'My earliest memory of this suffering was before age 3. I recall being tied up, bound behind my back, left facing a corner of a wall for hours on end waiting for my mother to get home from work. I remember her screaming at him for leaving me in my own foul mess."
At age 4 Christopher has the first of what would become countless mystical experiences. On a drive to his aunt's wedding, he asked his mother what 'church' means and who Jesus was. Her flippant reply still held the words which would open Christopher's, heart.
"I knew that if God was watching us, because He is always everywhere, seeing all, being all, then God must also be the trees, the other people, even the cars and all that is beyond knowing. I looked into my chest as I felt a warmth and peace that I would never forget."
The abuse escalated into beatings with a belt, bruises, and burns on his arms and buttocks.
"By age seven every time my father would walk into the room, my body would tremble, and my bowels would release. Of course, that would just make him angrier."
By the time Christopher was twelve years old, he was taller than his 5' 8' father. Beatings became so severe that his left arm was broken the summer before the 7th grade. By age fifteen Christopher's body was broken, and in chronic pain, which would last until this very day, with fractured vertebrae in both his lower back and in three places in his neck, multiple ruptured discs throughout his spine, along with his left knee and right shoulder dislocated. A bleeding ulcer was diagnosed after throwing up blood on his very first day as a freshman in high school, only after the vice principal took him to the hospital himself that afternoon as his father refused to come get him.
His only refuge was music, listening and playing. He started playing the violin at age seven, then cello and stand-up bass. In high school, he was considered an excellent drummer in a friends band.
Finally leaving home at age 15 1/2 just a few days after receiving his driver's license Christopher had yet another powerful mystical awakening experience that would plot the course for the rest of his life.
"At age fifteen I had realized that if all the people around the world could have this same exact experience I am having right now, there would be peace on earth."
After a spontaneous Mystical experience at the age of 15, Christopher started studying every spiritual tradition he could get his hands on including Advaita, Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, Christianity, Sufism, Shamanism, the Vedas, the Koran, the Kabbalah, Mystic Poetry, and Buddhism. After spending years in the music industry as both a musician, a manager and concert promoter, two failed marriages and mounting debt, he retreated to Orcas Island in Washington State to collect himself, continue his education and training's, and deepen his spiritual studies.
Growing up in a musical family— his father played violin for the National Opera, and mother was a music teacher— Lauri was exposed to classical music from an early age, regularly attending all types of musical performances.
After completing an MSc in Computer and Systems Engineering from Tallinn University of Technology, he worked for 15 years as a Sales and Marketing Manager at hi-tech companies in Europe and the U.S. During that time he collaborated with companies such as Microsoft, NASA, Oracle, Cisco, General Electric, MakerBot and others. Despite great success and financial freedom he began to sense that something was missing and that his life had to change on a very deep level. He moved to the Big Island of Hawaii for an extended break. There— supported by nature, pure fresh food, and solitude— he experienced a profound awakening; he realized his true purpose and passion.
He met several sound healers on the East and West coasts of the U.S. and acquired his first set of Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls. Initially he planned to use these as a personal tool for relaxation and reset, but as his music evolved he was increasingly invited to perform in public. He quit his tech job to dedicate himself fully to exploring sound healing, working with mentors in California and Colorado who taught him techniques and secrets of the singing bowls. In 2016, the co-founders of Crystal Tones, the manufacturer of the bowls Lauri uses, officially accorded him the status of Bowl Master.
Today, after three years of exploring, studying, extensive traveling and performing for thousands of people around the world, Lauri wants to demonstrate to people through the vibration of the crystal bowls that an enhanced state of being is available to anybody and can be evoked effortlessly. He wants people to be aware of clarity, peace of mind, and gratitude as a sign of inner alignment with their true life path. He is dedicating his life to bringing harmony to this planet through crystal sounds.
His uniquely gentle, flowing, elegant and sensitive style of playing the crystal bowls has been recognized by many influential people in the world of healing, and coaching such as yoga teachers, retreat hosts, and conference organizers around the world.
Award-winning author and speaker, Mirabai Starr, teaches about the interconnected wisdom of the mystics of all spiritual paths, contemplative life, and the transformational power of longing.
Known for her revolutionary translations of John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, and Julian of Norwich, Mirabai renders mystical masterpieces accessible, beautiful, and relevant to a contemporary circle of seekers. Her commentaries on the interconnected wisdom of all traditions are lyrical and evocative.
Mirabai builds bridges not only between religious traditions, but also between contemplative life and compassionate service, between cultivating an inner relationship with the Beloved and expressing that intimacy in community, between the transformational power of loss and longing for the sacred.
Endorsements
From the moment I began Mirabai’s personal story, I could not put it down. Though every word is the truth, her journey to becoming the brilliant mystic and writer she is today is as compelling and gritty as a great piece of fiction. I honor her for sharing her life so openly and so honestly. This is a magnificent mind-body-soul trek that really does lead to God.
~ Caroline Myss, author of Anatomy of the Spirit and Sacred Contracts
This is a wonderful and extremely moving book, by far the best memoir of loss and rebirth that I have read. Mirabai Starr has given us―in the plainest and most raw and pure form―the essence of what it means to transmute extreme suffering into new life.
~ Andrew Harvey, author of The Hope: A Guide to Sacred Activism
A life-giving story with strong narrative drive and humor thrown in at exquisite moments. Fine, detailed writing. A clear-eyed journey through the grief of loss and of youth snatched away too early. Starr has created a beautiful, inspirational telling of a life that speaks to us all.
~ Natalie Goldberg, author of The True Secret of Writing
An absorbing story of love and loss, Caravan of No Despair brings the depth of a mother’s grief and healing fully to life. Mirabai’s open heart and growing wisdom shine through the telling of her own story.
~ Sharon Salzberg, author of Real Happiness
Love is a fire. Grief is a bellows that fans it to white-hot intensity. When that fire burns out, what’s left may be ashes and desolation. Or it may be the distilled incandescence of a soul. Mirabai Starr lives that inferno of grief and emerges annealed to a new alloy of spirit. She draws water from a well of love and compassion to temper the blazing sword of wisdom. She brings that wisdom―from saints like Saint John of the Cross and Teresa of Avila and Neem Karoli Baba―into immediate experience. Through her we see how one may barely begin to bear the unbearable. Mirabai’s memoir is poetry of the spirit, of a mother’s loss, and of the renewal of a heart’s connection beyond the body. She doesn’t paper over despair; she comes to terms with it. Caravan of No Despair is a rainbow tapestry of spiritual teachings from Christian mystics, Sufi poets, Buddhist monks, and Hindu gurus. Such teachings don’t end; they just keep on beginning.
~ Rameshwar Das, coauthor of Be Love Now and Polishing the Mirror (with Ram Dass)
So deep and real. Thank you, Mirabai Starr, for letting us share your journey through the darkness of despair into the open sky of love.

Die Wise
Die Wise – A Manifesto for Sanity and Soul, is Stephen Jenkinson’s new book about grief, and dying, and the great love of life. Published by North Atlantic Books (March, 2015).
About Die Wise
Die Wise does not offer seven steps for coping with death. It does not suggest ways to make dying easier. It pours no honey to make the medicine go down. Instead, with lyrical prose, deep wisdom, and stories from his two decades of working with dying people and their families, Stephen Jenkinson places death at the center of the page and asks us to behold it in all its painful beauty. Die Wise teaches the skills of dying, skills that have to be learned in the course of living deeply and well. Die Wise is for those who will fail to live forever. Dying well, Jenkinson writes, is a right and responsibility of everyone. It is a moral, political, and spiritual obligation each person owes their ancestors and their heirs. It is not a lifestyle option. It is a birthright and a debt. Die Wise dreams such a dream, and plots such an uprising. How we die, how we care for dying people, and how we carry our dead: this work makes our village life, or breaks it.

New Self, New World explores the implications of the little-known fact that we have two brains: in addition to the familiar cranial brain in the head, there is a “second brain” in the gut. This is not a metaphor. Scientists recognize the web of neurons lining the gastrointestinal tract as an independent brain, and a new field of medicine — neurogastroenterology — has been created to study it.
According to Shepherd, there is a good reason that we talk about “gut instinct.” If cranial thinking sets us apart from the world, the thinking in the belly joins us to it. If the cranial brain believes itself surrounded by a knowable world that can be controlled, the brain in our belly is in touch with the world’s mystery. The fact that the second brain has been discovered, forgotten, and rediscovered by medicine three times in the past century suggests how complicated our relationship with our bodily intelligence is.

Birke on the Farm The story of a boys search for real food!
What folks are saying about the book:
Birke on the Farm is the most beautiful and articulate book I have ever seen. The graphics are brilliantly vibrant, the message is signature Birke and the love and passion that embraces. Birke on the Farm is a labor of love. It is an honor to own Birke's masterpiece of many thought provoking hours of emotional dedication to organic farming and a healthier way to live as humans, to respect the planet we call home and the animals we share it with.......Birke on the Farm is a wonderful book for children and adults as well. What impacted me the most is Birke's inspiration and integrity........Birke is destined to be a powerful voice in the organic farming movement as he gets older and the opportunity to own the first of Birke's many books is huge. - Douglas Novack
“Birke on the Farm: The Story of a Boy’s Search for Real Food” follows Birke from curious third-grader to full-blown activist. Whimsically illustrated by Wynnie Gea, the book has plenty of visual interest for pre-readers and a simple yet powerful message for older kids. This is a story not only about the importance of eating real food, but also about the value of kids speaking out and making a difference
When Rachel Parent was 11 years old, she received an assignment to choose a topic of interest to her in order to give a speech for all the students at her school. Rachel struggled to decide among the many issues that she was passionate about, but eventually decided on GMOs, as she felt this subject offered the most opportunity to change many lives, to better everyone’s health, and help improve our overburdened health care system.
Rachel parent kids right to know During her research in preparation for the speech, Rachel became alarmed as she began to understand how deeply GMOs are affecting the entire planet, from humans and kids’ futures, to bees, butterflies, and our soil. Her award-winning speech was so well accepted, it inspired her to create her own not-for-profit organization, Kids Right to Know.

Philip Shepherd has a passion for adventure and exploration that has guided him for most of his life. At 18 it took him from his native Canada to cycle alone around the world through Europe, the Middle East, Iran, India and Japan. But that trip, adventurous s it was, merely expressed a commitment to a more crucial adventure - coming to understand the subtle and often hidden aspects of our culture that affect us all, compromising our sense of self, our connection with the living world, our freedom of expression, and our creative engagement with the present.
As a young teenager, Philip could feel that influence pulling at him like an undertow to conform to given limits of thinking, understanding, values and body awareness, and felt he could resist its pull only if he understood it. That prompted him to study classical Noh Theater in Japan, design and build several houses, co-found an arts magazine, Onion, co-found an interdisciplinary theater company, teach workshops on embodied thinking and spontaneous creativity, write two internationally produced plays and a CBC documentary, and earn a reputation as a corporate coach.
In his varied career Shepherd has been featured in such publications as The San Francisco Examiner, Chicago's New City and Toronto's Globe and Mail, and on such radio shows as Live an Inspired Life, The Guide to the Human Experience, and Creative Consciousness.
In 2001 Philip began to write New Self, New World, and over the next nine years worked on it continuously to pull all the strands of his understanding together, and challenge the 10,000-year-old story of our culture, which tells us what it means to be human. New Self, New World was released in August 2010.
A faculty member at the Institute for Sacred Activism in Chicago, Shepherd currently lives in Toronto with his wife and two children. More information is available at www.philipshepherd.com. His fan page on Facebook can be found at http://www.facebook.com/NewSelfNewWorld.

HOW DOES AN HHO KIT WORK?
Hydrogen is the most abundant, clean burning, renewable fuel available, making up approximately 75% of the universe, and is the key to a future of sustainable motoring. Our Hydrogen Generators use just water and electricity to create hydrogen-oxygen gases (known as HHO gas), which are filtered and injected into the air intake of a vehicle. These gases then mix and burn along with the gasoline or diesel fuel inside the engine, acting as a "combustion catalyst", (increasing the efficiency of the engine); resulting in better mileage (average 20-50% increase), more responsive throttle, and reduced emissions. For less than a couple of car payments, you can convert your car into an eco-friendly, gas-sipping hybrid that uses clean burning hydrogen made from water,
Our HHO kits electrolyze the hydrogen and oxygen atoms directly out of the water, without separating them, creating a unique and energetic form of gas containing H, O, H2, O2, and even H2O. The gas is filtered, then injected into the air intake of the vehicle, where it mixes along with the air and gasoline (petrol) or diesel fuel of the car. The hydrogen-oxygen gases blend with the normal l fuel inside the engine, and upon combustion, rapidly ignite acting as a "combustion catalyst" , making the fuel burn faster, more thoroughly, and much cleaner. The HHO gas upon exploding, simply reverts back into water in microseconds, which then turns into superheated steam, cleaning the inside of the engine of carbon deposits and sludge. Since the gas causes the existing fuel to burn faster and more complete, there is LESS waste, and the energy is extracted where it matters most- inside the engine. This is why it results in extra mileage, better engine response, and lower emissions- by increasing combustion efficiencies. Remember that todays engines, with all the engineering advances, are still only about 18-21% efficient (depending on who you talk to), so just increasing the combustion efficiency a few percent makes a HUGE difference in mileage and emissions, and is why we see the results Without violating any Laws of Thermodynamics in the process (sorry guys - there is no free energy in what we are doing - just good physics).
Growing up in the wild hills of the Pacific Northwest, it seems like SunRay was always building something. His favorite source of inspiration and materials are in the woods around him, or as he calls it, "Super Natural Store." When working on a project it is not uncommon to see him pick up a saw and head off into the woods, searching for the right piece of wood to present itself. If anything is said, he might mumble, "I'm going shopping."
SunRay's organic style seeks to retain the natural shape of trees used in construction. His study of architecture and sculpture only reinforces his affinity for the organic forms found in nature, rejecting the rectilinear, artificial Western method of architecture.
While he was still in college, SunRay's showed some of his blueprints to an older builder who replied, "Learn to use a hammer, boy, because no one but you is going to be able to build that." Since then, SunRay has been creating things that "nobody but SunRay could build." His structures are timeless and give the appearance of being rooted, as though they had sprouted from the forest floor.
In the early 90's, Lanto Evans introduced SunRay to cob. SunRay's art had always been elemental, based on wild found timber. Incorporating the sculptural qualities of cob was a perfect pairing with SunRay’s timber framed creations.
Cob builder and teacher, Michael Smith, calls SunRay an 'elemental force.' He has contributed his personal energy to homes, temples, and follies across the United States.. His distinctive technique and passion have earned him legendary status, even among master craftsmen.
A visionary of the highest order (and somewhat legendary among green builders). In tune with the “magic” of the natural world and excited to share his unique perspective with others, Kelley is no doubt one of a kind.

Moving Beyond Your Struggle Into the Joy of Being Fully Alive
Mary O'Malley

This interview is an invitation to go on the most important journey you will ever take: the journey back to a heartfelt connection with yourself and a trust-filled connection with your life. This journey will show you that there is a sense of well-being with you always, no matter what is happening in your life.
If you are like most people, you have only sporadic glimpses of the well-being that is your birthright. This may be because you, like most everyone else, have a deep belief inside of you that says you are not enough. You may have also been conditioned to believe that if you just fix yourself or your life, you will be enough and thus know the peace you long for. So you have become an ongoing project, believing that if you just get yourself and your life to be a particular way, then you will be happy. This causes you to struggle with your compulsions, your finances, your relationships, and your health. Rather than peace and joy, you may very well be living in a low grade sense of unease that periodically flares up and plunges you into turmoil. So your life has become a series of problems to be solved rather than an adventure to be lived! If you are honest with yourself, you would recognize that this fixing game has never brought you the deep healing you long for. But don’t despair. There truly is another way to live that will permeate your life with well-being.
It is important for you to understand that I too lived from this place of struggle for many years, so I intimately know the deep pain and heartache that comes from the fix-it mode. I was very compulsive, at times suicidal, and felt that I had no value. Most of the time, I experienced a sense of unease, and oftentimes it would flare up into dread and hopeless despair. These feelings would show up as relentless struggles in my head. They also appeared as an overall anxiousness that created knots in my stomach and debilitating headaches that came from an intense longing to run away from my life. I gained a huge amount of weight, washed a lot of the food down with alcohol, and took every pill I could get my hands on.
Since I perceived myself as defective, I tried to get rid of the parts of me I didn’t like and hold onto the ones I did. But these parts seemed to have a life of their own, appearing when I didn’t want them to be here and disappearing when I wanted them to stay. I also desperately tried to understand it all, but that just kept me caught in my head.
It wasn’t until I discovered how to listen to myself that I began to open up again. Rather than always being in fix-it mode, I learned how to meet myself exactly as I am, opening into the place beyond judging, fixing, getting rid of, and trying to understand. I learned that listening is the art of being present for my own experience, no matter what it is. Most of all, it is the art of meeting myself in my own heart – even the so-called unacceptable, unmeetable parts.
Slowly, just as the morning light dispels the dark, I came back to myself and back to Life. Rather than being in a constant state of unease, I came to know more and more joy, trust and love. I also discovered how to show up for the great adventure called Life – not an idea of what it should be, but the real thing. Rather than always trying to create a better reality, I showed up for Reality!
This is what you deeply long for – an intimate connection with yourself and with Life. At your core, you yearn to show up for what Life is offering in this moment rather than wanting your experience to be different than it is. In this episode we discuss how can we live a life that prepares us for and embraces death as a sacred part of the human dance and values and nurtures the parts of ourselves that are not diminished with the coming of death.
The denial of death in our culture leaves us completely unprepared when we unexpectedly receive a terminal diagnosis, resulting in medical desperation and a tendency to be influenced by the medical protocol that supports us to avoid dying at any price and views death as a failure. This is perpetrated by the language we have around dying {he lost his battle with cancer} and the medical professions view that any life at all, no matter how short, painful and limited, is better than dying and that dying must be postposed at any cost.

I have a special place in my heart for the Gulf Coast because I was born and raised in Louisiana. I had a rough start as a young man, getting into trouble with the law and trying to escape through drugs and alcohol. After being clean and sober since 1985 now I want to give back by helping others and making a differnce in the USA. Today, I'm glad to say that I'm a happy and productive member of my community. I'm fortunate I got a second chance in life, and I believe all people deserve a second chance too. That's why my friends and I are helping them. You too are welcome to follow your heart and join us.
