The program is burned into ROM memory chip that is installed in place of the original "COLOR BASIC" ROM of the COCO. The originality or the challenge of this is the fact that the program is using no RAM to operate. So there is no variable and no regular calls to subroutines. Setting for hotkey disabled lost after sleep with Lenovo ThinkBook 15-IML (SOLVED!) Denis Bisson 2019-12-10 | I made this video to be linked in a description of a problem related with the hotkey setting related with the Fn key with a Lenovo ThinkBook 15-IML. I like my recent Lenovo ThinkBook 15-IML laptop. But there is one thing that is very annoying: it lost the setting for the hotkey disabled I’ve set in the BIOS when coming back from sleep…I use a lot of applications where keyboard shortcuts with legacy “Fx” keys are required. For me, the rare occasion I actually need the hotkeys is ridiculously small compare to the real need I have for accessing F9, F7, F5, ALT-F4, etc… directly. So, for me, in the BIOS, I’ve configured the option to have the hotkeys disabled. So, this way, the legacy Fx functions are accessed directly. And if I ever want to play with the brightness and stuff like that, I press and hold the “Fn” key with the requiring key from the top row with the Fx keys. Coming from a power up, that’s fine, it works well as long as the computer is running. But let’s suppose it goes to sleep because I close the lid or simply because of a certain period of inactivity. When it’s coming back from sleep, the situation is reversed!!! To use the legacy “Fx” keys, I need to press the “Fn” button!!! If I don’t do it, pressing the “Fx” key from top will do the hotkey, just like if the hotkey would be enabled by default…. Which was not wat I wanted, not what I set. To have back the behavior I wanted, I need to shutdown the computer, reboot, and then the Fx keys are back like I wanted, back like what I’ve set in the BIOS. It’s annoying and I hope Lenovo will fix that! On date of 2019-12, Lenovo automatic update diagnostic tool report “No driver updates are required for your machine”. P.S. Aynway, having to go to BIOS to change that setting is annoying too. Why couldn’t be directly live while the session is opened? Like pressing FN+Shift (or something similar) would toggle the behavior of the the Fn key or something like that, without having to go in BIOS, could be used easier than having to go to BIOS. We could change the behavior on the fly like we can do with a Microsoft Surface Keyboard for example.ADDITION ON 2020-04-12:It's now solved, and probably since at least 2020-02-25. I've updated to the BIOS version CJCN26WW with the Lenovo tool and now it is solved. Apparently it was solved since version CJCN25WW. Good luck!

C'est probablement de là que naissent les clichés ou à tout le moins ce qui contribue à les alimenter.Ce qui nous fait rire c'est d'entendre......que nous aurions des température négative six mois par année...que le ciel nous tombe en "permanence" sur la tête...Montréal serait "cernées par les glaces" 150 jours par ans...j'espère que tous les déneigeurs ne dorment pas tous le jour Et aussi ce qui est bien drôle "...les derniers blocs ne fondront pas avant juillet, ce qui laissera à peine quelques semaines aux équipes pour se reposer avant le prochain hiver...". BHC2011 - Bisson Heat Control Denis Bisson 2011-12-18 | Mon frère a un nouveau système de chauffage bi-énergie. Lorsque son thermostat électronique fais s'activer le brûleur de sa fournaise à l'huile, il peut faire clancher ce de dernier durant de bonnes minutes, mettons durant douze minutes on va dire. Mon frère s'inquiète de la chaleur qui se dégage autour de la fournaise aux premiers ducks au-dessus de celle-ci. Quand la fournaise marche durant environ six minutes, ça vient bien chaud autour des ducks et visiblement la fan ne fournis pas de sortir la chaleur de là. Mon frère spécule que cette surchauffe lui brûle de l'huile pour rien sans compter qu'à la limite, c'est peut-être dangereux. DONC il m'a demandé de lui patenter de quoi qui fera en sorte que lorsque son thermostat demande de clancher le brûleur, ce dernier au lieu d'être clancher durant douze minutes en continue, qu'il soit clancher mettons cinq minutes, puis ensuite on éteint durant deux minutes tout en laissant la fan sortir la chaleur de là, puis ensuite on rallume durant cinq minutes, on éteint deux minutes, etc... Comme il n'est pas sûr exactement de ce qui serait le mieux pour les timing, je lui ai arrangé cela avec deux potentiomètres pour qu'il puisse faire quelques tests pour trouver les ajustements de temps "on" et de temps "off" qu'il juge optimal. C'est ce que fait mon BHC2011.
Contrôle de brûleur, II Denis Bisson 2011-12-11 | Vidéo pour mon frère pour montrer l'évolution du contrôle du brûleur de sa fournaise à l'huile. Il s'inquiète parce que le thermostat fait embraquer le brûleur des fois un long dix minutes et ça chauffe gros les tuyaux à ce moment là. Le cossin que je fais permet d'insérer un peu de temps mort là-dedans pour ne pas surchauffer pour rien. Au lieu d'avoir 12 minutes allumé en continue on aura 5 minutes allumés, 2 minutes éteint, 5 minute allumés, 2 minutes éteins, etc... Puis la beauté de son installation c'est que la fan de la fournaise elle, pour sortir la chaleur, est toujours en opération. Donc on a beau éteindre le brûleur au bout de 5 minutes mettons, la fan va continuer de faire sortir la chaleur pour chauffer la maison.
