Okay, so this place is kinda hard to find but we use Google maps then find the door that looks like from the google maps since we can’t read the character🤣 Also, mind your head as the door is really short and don’t forget bring cash💴
Small place but the queue weren’t that bad in our experience as you just in & out slurping the noodles pretty fast👌🏻

Though the name is single noodle, it’s more like uncut super wide pasta / lasagna sheet with tons of cheese🧀, roast sirlion beef, pepper and egg🥚 If you’re lactose intolerant oh well, take your lactaid!
Any Italians tried this place before? Hopefully got tick of approval🤌🏻😆

Have you tried Polish food before? We were at a tennis match in Sydney (Poland vs France) and one of the Polish fan recommended this restaurant to try. Whilst we haven't been to Poland yet, we're lucky to taste the Polish food here in Sydney. This restaurant is called Alchemy Polish Restaurant and here are what we order:
- Polish dumplings (polskie pierogi) 6 pieces for $19.50 - potatoes & cheese, beef, sauerkraut & mushroom
- Pork Goulash $39.50 (fried potato pancake with pork goulash)
- Cabbage Rolls $19.50 (golabki) stuffed with pork, rice, tomato sauce
After that huge lunch, we got froyo aka frozen yoghurt from our favourite store in Sydney which is Yo-Chi! Hope you enjoy this short Sydney food vlog, follow us for more.

We tried the classic Sei Lankan food like egg hoppers, fish curry and prawn curry.
This restaurant is called 📍Lankan Filling Station, Darlinghurst Sydney
#srilankancuisine #sydneyaustralia #sydneyfoodie
📍Hikiniku To Come
There are 3 branches for Hikiniku To Come, Shibuya (super packed with long queue), Kichijoji (less known with lesser queue) and Kyoto (assumed really busy too). If you follow the timing and place like us during the weekdays, you don’t need to queue for too long and you can explore one of the nicest area in Tokyo which is Kichijoji.
If you are thinking what’s so special about hamburg patty or beef minced with rice?! Well, you must try this spot to believe it.
Price: ¥1000 - ¥2000 depends on special beef on the day. Wagyu beef will cost more but worth trying!

This is not your typical stretchy mochi🍡 that made out of glutinous rice. It’s called warabimochi, jelly-like texture made out of starch, covered in kinako (roasted soybean) then dipped in kuromitsu (black sugar syrup)🤤
What’s so special about this place? It’s located in a Japanese traditional house that has been preserved for over 100years! You’ll get the chance to tour the house before enjoying the beautiful dessert overlooking the amazing garden, tranquility at its best🍃For our fellow Asians, this is not a sweet dessert - best compliment that we can give!😝

If you are looking at which hotel to book in Tokyo or where to stay in Tokyo then Hotel Groove, a Parkroyal Hotel in Shinjuku is recommended. Price wise starts from AUD450 or USD300 for the Groove Room that we stayed in which is more stylish and spacious.
Tips on booking hotels in Japan is to check and book directly on hotel’s website because they normally have better price or deal like free breakfast included.

Also when you are in Osaka, you must visit Dotonbori, busy shopping and food district where you can shop and also eat all Osaka local food like takoyaki and okonomiyaki.
We like this place called 📍Takoyaki Juhachiban Dotonbori with the iconic huge takoyaki sign that you can’t missed it. We think this is one of the best takoyaki in Dotonbori Osaka!

First time trying Francesinha sandwich which is a Portuguese layered sandwich with egg, ham, sausage, steak and melted cheese in a tomato sauce. This is a famous Portugese sandwich food and you can find this at Lunas Cafe in Petersham Sydney.

If you’ve been Tokyo and tried gyukatsu motomura - the famous gyukatsu place all over Tokyo and some cities in Japan, well we found hidden gem that we think is better which is Gyukatsu Tomita in Osaka Japan. We found gyukatsu Tomita is better than gyukatsu Motomura since their beef is so much tender and melt in your mouth!
There is only branch in Osaka for Gyukatsu Tomita so make sure you try this place when visiting Osaka.

How to go to Kuromon Market? Access: few minutes walk from Nipponbashi Subway Station
What time does Kuromon Market open? Opening hours: 8am or 9am to 5pm depends on the shop - best time to go is in the morning before 11am
There are so many shops with fresh seafood, meat, various sashimi and even puffer fish sashimi too! There are also local Japanese street food like mochi, daifuku, wagyu skewers and Osaka local food like okonomiyaki and takoyaki.

This cheesecake is only available in Osaka so when you are visiting Osaka, don’t miss this jiggly cheesecake! There are several branches around Osaka - Namba, Shinshaibashi, Umeda even Osaka Station. Queues always seem super long but trust us, it’s really quick!
Taste-wise Rikuro cheesecake is more eggy than cheesy with some raisins on the bottom. We loved it pipping hot😮💨 but you can always buy & re-heat or re-bake again😊

Nagoya is a food heaven, its cuisine even called Nagoya meshi which is food unique to Nagoya region. These are 5 local Nagoya dishes that you must try:
1) Miso Katsu - pork cutlet with soybean paste (red miso)
2) Tebasaki Chicken Wings - Nagoya style fried chicken wings, full kick of pepper. Some find these too peppery but we love it, great to eat these chicken wings with drinks🍻
3) Ogura Toast - looks so simple, toast with azuki (red bean) jam but don’t underestimate this! This is the official Nagoya breakfast item - you’ll get a set coffee + ogura toast in most cafe in Nagoya
4) Kishimen Noodles - flat thick udon with simple but hearty broth
5) Hitsumabushi - we can boldly say this is Nagoya’s BEST FOOD! If you love unagi/eel, you MUST try hitsumabushi - grilled eel with sweet unagi sauce and you can opt for 3 ways to enjoy this. Go to the OG spot: Atsuta Horaiken and you won’t be dissapointed🫡

1. Buying electronics💻, tip is to check for the voltage range⚡️because the country you are from may have a higher voltage range and may cause short circuit if a convertor is not used – so ALWAYS check the voltage range!
2. eSIM📱– I found that e-SIM is the best option when going overseas because of the no Gigabyte Cap vs a Sim Card where they limit your speed after a certain GB is used😔 Plus the advantage is you do not need to remove your Simcard and have the hassle or unfortunate situation of misplacing your original simcard🤭 So If you are looking to check out an Esim that covers many travel destinations with just 1 eSIM, you can check out Jetpac and if you use our code NICKHELMI10 – you get 10GB Data bonus for free! If you give this a go, let me know how your experience was🙌🏻

3. Child Switch👨👩👧 – for parents with infant/toddler and are going Disneyland or Universal Studios Japan– there is a service called Child Switch which allows one of the parents to queue and do the ride, while the other waits at a designated area. When they are done with the rides, you simply switch and they can also enjoy the ride without needing to queue😊

1) Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu
Address: 115/5 Dinso Rd, Wat Bowon Niwet, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
Pad Thai is one of the Thai food that you obviously need to try and in Bangkok there is one place called Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu that have won Michelin Bib Gourmand title for couple of years. Portion is rather small if you compare with Australia but you definitely need to try the pork!
2) Go-Ang Kaomunkai Pratunam Chicken Rice
Address: 962 Phetchaburi Rd, Makkasan, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand
One of Bangkok's most popular chicken rice (Khao Mun Gai) which also part of Bangkok's Michelin Bib Gourmand list. They are quite cheap and no frills, great for breakfast. Thai chicken rice is quite different with Singaporean or Malaysian chicken rice in terms of the sauce that used tamarind.
3) Guay Jub Mr Jo ก๋วยจั๊บมิสเตอร์โจ
Address: 86 Soi Chan 44, Wat Phraya Krai, Bangkok, 10120, Thailand
This busy place is known for the peppery kway chap (rice noodle soup) and the crispiest pork belly. We reckon one of the best pork belly in Bangkok so you definitely need to order as an extra dish.
4) Kor Panich Mango Sticky Rice
Address: 431 433 Thanon Tanao, San Chao Pho Sua, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
A trip to Bangkok is not complete without having mango sticky rice, also known as khao niao ma muang. Kor Panit is a small shop by the road that sells one of the best mango sticky rice in Bangkok. Iconic street food / Thai dessert that you must try.
5) Raan Jay Fai
Address: 327 Maha Chai Rd, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
Legendary Thai food spot in Bangkok that earned One Star Michelin Star. This place is the Bangkok street food icon with unique goggle chef. Signature dish is crispy crab omelettes. This is a very popular spot and they don’t take bookings, so be sure to arrive early and be prepared to queue like us. Tips on how to get early to Jay Fai: come early before opening 9am which is around 7.30am and don't come during weekend. Cash only and dishes are not cheap compared to other Thai restaurants in Bangkok. Be prepare to wait for at least 3 hours.
How to get around Bangkok? You can take public transportation like BTS Skytrain and MRT. We used Grab a lot in Bangkok as they are really cheap affordable and convenient to travel from one location to another with private car. We prefer to use Grab than taxi because taxi in Bangkok or Thailand in general can be tricky as they sometimes do not want to turn on the meter! Of course you need to try Tuk Tuk in Thailand too!

We first started our China Airlines journey from Sydney to Bangkok via Taipei, as China Airlines is a Taiwanese carrier based out of Taipei, Taiwan. If you sign up as Dynasty Member which is free to join, you can get 10% off the flight ticket price plus free wi-fi onboard.
Our first flight was an overnight one from Sydney was on CI52 China Airlines Premium Economy.
We arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at around 4am in the morning. At around this hour none of the shops are open.
We then departed from Bangkok on economy - but since this video is a review on Premium Economy and Business Class we are skipping their economy class - which was anyhow a cabin space that has always been difficult to film on due to space :)
Fast forward we are back a week later at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport from Bangkok and we have around 6 hours of layover in Taipei. And if you have a decent layover time I highly suggest exploring the city either via taxi OR a free shuttle bus to tour Taipei city provided by the airport.
For more info check out https://halfdaytour.taiwan.net.tw/
As always Taipei holds a special memory for us as this as this was our honeymoon spot.
During our layover we hit up Yong Kang Beef Noodle and some bubble tea of course! Since Taiwan is after all Bubble Tea birthplace.
Now as a Business Class passenger you get access to the China Airlines Lounge at the airport and it was definitely modern, classic and classy. The atmosphere was designed to provide a chill and relaxing area to rest, work and eat. Classical music is playing softly in the background.
After exploring the lounge it was time to get on board from Taipei to Sydney on China Airline's Business Class CI51.
I hope you enjoy our China Airlines Business Class Review and Premium Class review.
As always if you enjoy the video, please hit that thumbs up and leave us a comment - would love to hear from you all!
