This one was supposed to be a super quick filler part, but it ended up taking me a long time to finish 😭 I had a lot of fun experimenting with a looser style, and ended up using my sketches for a lot of the final animation. It was a super fun experience and I enjoyed animating so much more when I didn't need to worry about EVERY LINE being perfect. 2023 showreel Frogleebogly 2023-12-31 | Happy new year to all my fellow frog enjoyers out there!! I hope its been kind to you! Its now time for me to get mushy!Honestly I had a really great year! And its mostly because of the people around me being so amazing? I met a bunch of new art people who are all so kind and lovely! I got a job which although is tiring and testing at times, I have some great coworkers who are really kind! I was in a LOT of really cool maps hosted by super cool people and had a blast in them!! I wish I had time to make a little gift for some of the epic people I know, but sadly it wasn't possible, if i plan though, maybe next year ill make it if I start now XDD Gosh though, im so pumped for next year! Im going to fly out to meet my bestie next week, who I both love to death and want to fight outside mcdonalds on the daily- Im hoping to move out on my own towards the end of next year and have a cute little frog pad to vibe in! Her name is Iridessa and she has the power to share her imagination with her opponents. Unfortunately for her though, bee saw through her tricks in the end. Lucky for Iri, Ollie has her back! Shes hella baby and I cant wait to have her show up more! These took me an AGE to finish and I really lost steam near the end. But hey! I did it in the end!! I'm quite pleased with how it turned out in the end, but I'm oh so glad its done though and I can move on to a new project! Ive learned that in order for me to stay motivated with a project, I need to work on it all in one go. GIANTS - Part 26+27 Frogleebogly 2023-11-08 | Let me tell YOU about Wolf Children and how much ive always LOVED the snow scene!! It just has so many feelings in it and aaa!!! I got to animate it and do something super out of my comfort zone! Even though this wasnt exactly an original idea, I had so much fun and it was a great experience getting to spend so long looking at the movie. I feel like ive learned so much for future animations! Im so super proud of this!Ive also fallen more in love with doing lineless animations! Skipping the lineart faze made a world of difference and really sped up production! I feel like it also let me easily go back and change things without causing myself a headache! All hail lineless art, my new beloved! I only wish id had the time to do some lighting on the characters, because I think that would of really polished it off. Neon Medusa- Part 20 Frogleebogly 2023-03-18 | The palette for this map did things to my brain, so I ended up sneaking in after telling myself no for 2 months XDD I'm super happy with how it turned out though! FROG - Shipping MAP - Part 15 Frogleebogly 2023-01-16 | More Melbee content! My beloveds! This is a little out of character but it was a funny Idea so I went with it anyways. Essentially, Bee remembers the time Melissa was drunk and the one single time she heard her actually giggle. Bee proceeds to have a breakdown over how cute it was while melissa walks by in the background, confused as to why bee is acting like a weirdo again. Love these idiot heads so much! I don't do PMvs much because tbh- I don't really know how to do them XD I need more practice so this was really fun and simple and I worked out I really prefer simple tweening rather than super complex tweening with 100 moving parts. Snow 19 + 20 Frogleebogly 2023-01-09 | MELBEEEEEEEEEEEEEE content! My beloved! My life blood! My source of joy in life! God I love these stupid head empty idiots! Finally sitting down and working on something proper for them made me really happy! I had a lot of things I wanted to try out with these parts! Mostly using colours to set the mood of a scene and doing some background practice and ohhhh my gosh! This map flipped something In my head because ever since I've actually enjoyed drawing backgrounds! I hated doing them for years and years but now its actually sort of fun?? There is some parts I could of spent more time on but overall I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out! I learned a lot and and had a good time so yippie! Melbee is a ship between my oc Phoebe and @Clocks_and_Candles oc Melissa. They are both villains (and kind of stupid ngl ) But they bring great joy regardless of their braincell count uwu LORE-The two of them had never really fallen in love before but then somehow they both managed to fall for each other. Being with Melissa is the happiest Bee has ever been but unfortunately, all good things come to an end and eventually Melissa dies, leaving Bee alone again. She struggles greatly with the loss and refuses to visit where Melissa was buried for a whole year. However after a lot of healing she did eventually work up the nerve to go, only to find that her grave had been transformed with hundreds of flowers, and most notably, a pink rose with the ring she buried Melissa with around its stem. The last couple weren't all that nice, but its so lovely to finally have a normal, decent year! I feel like I've really improved a lot over the year, I'm especially proud of how far my background drawing skills have come! I used to avoid backgrounds like the plague because I just couldn't do them, but I think I've finally started to get the hang of it and find a style I like. I spent like an hour trying to write a comment asking to join (Ask Sawyer he was unfortunate enough to be on call with me when the map dropped (sorry bro!)), but It made my whole day finding out I got in!! (Ramble ahead I'm sorry!)ALSO! Why have I never animated anything for TLOZ series before??? Its genuinely one of my favorite game series and a link to the past was one of my very first real gaming experiences when I was small!!
