After all this time, this game is still incredible! The difficulty in this recording was set on the Hardest setting to which I can confirm that the game's AI is far greater than VF5's on the consoles. In fact, when you fight against Brad and Jeffrey, it's like playing against an advanced skilled Japan player (talking from experience). Also, like VF2 on the Sega Saturn, the AI learns from your matches so they do adapt to your plays. Without a shadow of a doubt, VF4 Final Tuned makes Tekken 4, 5 and 5 Dark Ressurection feel boring. No wonder Virtua Fighter reigned supreme in Japan for a long time, its just a pity that it was and still is the contrary in the western world which is another subject that I won't get into.I'll make some more videos upon request.

Please enjoy the video. I really love this game in the arcade. This game alone has taken as much money from me as Street Fighter and other fighting and racing games. When I first played it, I became really frustrated that I couldn't make it to the finish line, until I discovered the secret of how to make that mark. The secret is "sliding". Do not swing all the way through the course, only use swing for when you have to make a sharp turn, the real secret of attaining speed and maintaining your composure on jump is sliding. I'm afraid that I didn't play enough of Namco's game to give a good comparison between the two, but let's say that if I had lots of money then I would be very happy playing both titles. I miss those days...

I really like this game as it takes you to most of the cool areas of Japan such as the Tokyo's Shutoko Highway, a race track similar to the Fuji Speedway near Fujiyama, a Mountain course, and a city course in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Once you figured out how to drift in the game and you can avoid your opponents, which seems to have major collision priority even if they hit the rear of your car, the game is a blast! A definite must play for people that love Japan.
