But vanitas and this song made it possible. I started this edit when the song came out in January and I was obsessed with it, I did the scenes so fast too but then I suddenly had to add movement and I lost all inspo. But it's such a long project and I was so inspired so I decided to touch it up slightly, by adding a little movement at the start which the flows is a little slower and some overlays. It's still the most raw edit I have made recently tho lol. Just pure scene selection and flow. But it doesn't, many years ago, he had accepted to become a test subject and now he was forced to continue those experiments. Sousei ends up finding him, this time he won't let Tenka go again. Switch of POV to Tenka, he remembers their fight all those years ago, how he had to abandon his dream for the sake of his family and how a few months ago, Sousei had assured him that he would be the one to lead him to his dream again. However, it wasn't meant to last, as in a battle Sousei gets shot and Tenka is left to cry at his grave.Welp that was it. Did I have to kill Sousei off? Well....I thought it would be more angsty and as I was saying earlier this is partly a vent so I went down the very sad route kjsdksjd.

[White Noise] Jiang Cheng Marialenahime1998 2022-11-05 | IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAINNNN! It's Jiang Cheng's birthday aaaaa. Honestly I made this last night and just finished it today, I have been a bit overwhelmed the past few days and didn't really have much inspo so I had a hard time BUT I PULLED THROUGH FOR MY BOI, ITS SIMPLE BUT AT LEAST ITS KINDA LONG? I can't beat my previous edits that were over 2 mins but listen.....I had no way to plan anything this year, I was so busy.But I love him alot and I really wanted to make something aa. So this edit isn't very focused on the lyrics? it's more about showing his life and how it progressed? Focusing on relationships too sorta? My favourite part to edit was the parallels with jin ling, like the way he offers comfort to jin ling is by doing what his siblings would had done to him when they were alive?? resting a hand on his shoulder (wei wuxian) and hugging (yanli). Also him and Jin Ling have alot of similiar habits, aaaa I love them.So yes yalll know how much Jiang Cheng means to me, I don't need to write you a novel. Enjoy!!
let me be sad (vent) Marialenahime1998 2022-10-26 | So this edit has been planned for a while. I first found this song in mid September and it honestly caused me to break down when I first listened to it. Because it expressed everything I felt so well. The past few months I have been so busy because of my thesis, I couldn't afford to let myself have a complete break down because I wouldn't be able to recover and go and do what I had to do, so I kept all the feelings hidden, just cried a bit at times but nothing major in comparison to what I was feeling.Back in August, my uncle passed away. He had been in the hospital for 2 months by then in a very serious condition but the last two weeks, the medicine they had given him was working and he was getting better, but then suddenly he caught a hospital illness which caused him to have a seizure...and then he couldn't make it. I honestly owe the fact that I edit to my uncle. He always introduced me to alot of things, from the game that got me interested in anime and japanese culture, to the editing software I used, to how to find clips and episodes. He has influenced my life in such a huge way. He was always very kind to me and I loved him a lot. Back in middle school when I was alone in school and with no friends I found such comfort in being with my family. My uncle also helped me alot and supported me always. He may have been scary sometimes when he got angry but he was always very kind and cheerful.He actually got admitted to the hospital two days before my birthday and we had planned to meet up on that day. We didn't have the chance. I never imagined things would turn out like this. He was always healthy so to be suddenly in such a bad condition...it was a huge shock for me and for everyone in my family. During his time in the hospital I went to visit him once towards the end of June. There, he apologized to me for...seeing him like that. I already felt that maybe I shouldn't be there before even visiting the hospital and I honestly had a breakdown right after. But his words made me even sadder and I didn't really go inside the room much I just kept my aunt company. That was the last time we met. In August when things suddenly got turn to the worse, I was in shock but I could realize there was barely any chance for recovery after the seizure....no matter how much everyone hoped for a miracle, it wouldn't come, so we had to say goodbye.I thankfully had the chance to fly to another country and spend time there back then which helped me a great deal because I could try to not think about it as much. But of course even as time passed I was very sad and broken. However I decided its better to be numb than to constantly break down, so I sealed most of my emotions.This is the result of that. Now that I finally have the time to edit for myself...this really doesn't showcase everything so there might be more vents later. This focuses on the numbness and the sadness, I wish I could had done something more...As you can see all the footage has someone mourning a family member,it didn't feel right to use anything else honestly....But well, yeah this is my story and my emotions for all those months. I wish things would had been different and I miss you...
EDL 2022- Vanitas no Carte- Running out of time Marialenahime1998 2022-09-26 | Hi, this project was created for the European Day of Languages! It's a tradition at this point hahaha. This is my project for this year, which consists of me using yes vanitas, but I did try to use charas I don't use as much??
