Nathalie Joachim's "Fanm d'Ayiti" (Women of Haiti) is a celebration of some of Haiti's most iconic yet under recognized female artists, as well as an exploration of Joachim's personal Haitian heritage.
The evening-length work for voice, flute, string quartet and electronics was commissioned by St. Paul Chamber Orchestra's Liquid Music Series, and premiered on March 14, 2018 at Amsterdam Bar and Hall in St. Paul, MN.
