Seriously, I love shooting and it's how i refined my craft but it's also how i got so lucky I guess to be shooting amazing talent from the very beginnings of my career like these guys! What it reminds me is not everything fantastic makes it to the big screen so to speak. So even though iv'e worked just as close to many many many of the most famous seriously and honestly these guys and others i was blessed to cross paths with in my career, ARE JUST AS GOOD! In fact i would say this is a HEART ATTACK DINER "good as it get's" performance. I promise! This is also a prime example of something i was always trying to perfect besides just the video but the audio capture as well. In this case and era it was 2 channel audio which i used one special drum rich vocal mix channel from the house somehow and one high dollar heavily muffled camera mounted microphone. Wish i knew more and could credit better but no notes and over 30 years YIKES Finally after all these years though mixing them together it's the closest ever to what i call YOU ARE THERE audio and video. Something special happens with having just one camera and audio from on that camera mixed in. It really becomes a different, more exciting front row experience. Add in a super performance like here, and to me it becomes quite magical. Live it gave me goosebumps and now again 30 years later!!! Seriously THANKS GUYS and now to get to share it too!! How cool is that! ENJOY! USE HEADPHONES it won't sound terrible otherwise but it will be better Further note there was no rehearsals, no wide angle lens, no tv lighting, i was wired to a board somewhere otherwise i would have gone in for the drummer lol, i had to change batteries and tapes both at least once, which explains the tape cuts in this, but everything else is complete and just as captured except for the the previously mentioned audio mixing and sweetening, NO OVERDUBS oh, and no budget......Sony JJ WHISPERS Florida 1988

Chase is well know by most as a talented New Mickey Mouse Club and The Party member but unfortunately virtually unknown otherwise. Except for those in the know & a few close friends in the sound business who i have shared this recording with and they classify this song as “a MASTERPIECE!” and as George Moshonas calls it “its ANTHEM MATERIAL!” Obviously than Chase deserves and needs to be noticed for his own masterful self produced music creations as well. Like for this song attached here, which was lost for decades which is finally finished for all to enjoy! (thanks Jimmy!) BTW It was recorded in Chases own home studio in California with only him and a VERY COOL and lol fun co conspirator friend and killer guitar player contributing! They are both heard and seen here in this video playing and performing masterfully! (Chase will need to name him and credit him properly.) No Party Pickles lol needed here to promote what rightfully should a a nationwide hit and anthem song if i’m not severely mistaken! I need to recapture it all again as i only got one channel of audio but this and the entire show is damn near as good as it gets especially considering there was no rehearsals or much knowledge of these guys beforehand. Once they kicked it in gear it becomes extraordinarily great! With the help of Curt Coniglio i was always working to make sure the camera captured great audio to go with the video!! Once i recapture the entire performance with correct stereo hi fi audio i will post it but wanted to at least get this in your ears (and eyes) for new years lol and where was this anyway????

Disney World Magic Kingdom Parade 1987 Paul Klekotta 2017-02-17 | This is a video starring my sister Cathy and her 2 boys Tony and Joe from footage I was shooting for Disney. It was early on in my long tenure freelancing for the mouse. It was during a time slightly more risque, celebrating what was called by those behind the scenes as the Three Beers Celebration, which was the 15 year anniversary of WDW. They gave away a free car every day for a year to someone entering a park. That was a very cool assignment capturing that. I worked enough in the Magic Kingdom that somewhere I have footage of my sis and kids where I got them on as grand marshals of the Magic Kingdom parade!

Not the best rig for shooting live music but on this song of Jenn Palmer's I think I nailed it. I know she did! (like always...) AMAZING vocals captured 2 channels house mix and 2 channels on the camera. Made for some interesting post production mixing but I think it adds a presence that goes great with it being one camera. HOPE SPEAKS was a God inspired effort to bring all the many different denominations and churches of Grundy County together, to work as one and help heal Grundy county. It did not go over so well, in fact ruffled a few feathers. Fact is It has worked miracles in other communities and could and would have worked here. It was a definite threat to the status quo and unfortunately it wasn't embraced. Still we came out way ahead for at least trying. Firearms for the Homeless🤪 Paul Klekotta 2010-12-13 | Originally part of the stage act of 10,000 mile off Broadway, a Toronto Improv group. Shot this in a park in Toronto back in the 90's. Was looking for something fun to do for the Holidays when I came across this footage and then came up with the idea of FIREARMS FOR THE HOMELESS. This has run locally. One viewer called in and said she had a steel rod place in her broken leg weeks ago and had been miserable but that this spot made her laugh so hard and she hadn't felt so good in a long while. Laughter is a great medicine. If by chance anyone knows the name of this actress I would love to give her the credit due!!
