H.P. Lovecraft Horror Music. Said to be Lovecraft's own favourite story, 'The Colour Out of Space' is highly recommended reading. A wonderful marriage of horror and science fiction.

Properly known in German as Das Buch von den unaussprechlichen Kulten (as per CoC rulebook).
Unaussprechlichen Kulten is a tome created by Robert E. Howard, and used in the Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying game and various stories. It could be found in HP Lovecraft's short story "The Haunter of the Dark".
De Vermis Mysteriis is a grimoire created by Robert Bloch. The title translates to 'Mysteries of the Worm'. It also featured in Bloch's "The Shambler from the Stars" (1935).
Written by H.P. Lovecraft in 1926, it's an unusual short story about Tomaso Olney visiting the town of Kingsport, and is intrigued by a house standing atop a tall almost inaccessible cliff edge. It's a very dream like tale, so I tried to capture that here.
Deep within the Grey Mountains, almost hidden amongst the jagged peaks, lurks the dark and imposing castle of the Great Enchanter Constant Drachenfels.
A favourite location of mine from the Warhammer Fantasy Role-playing universe.
My soundtrack to an unmade film, H.P. Lovecraft's 'At the Mountains of Madness'.
An expedition to Antarctica goes horribly wrong when a team of scientists discover a terrible ancient secret frozen in the ice. The history of earth is unraveled in a terrifying discovery of an ancient civilisation, and their war for dominion over the earth. William Dyer, and his colleague Danforth, implore those who follow to never set foot on the continent again....
Dyer and Danforth and depicted here exploring the city of the 'one ones', in a superb original piece of art for the album by Joseph Kelly. Check out more of his work: http://illustratedbyjosephkelly.com

Created by American writer Robert W. Chambers, the Yellow Sign is a fictional symbol or glyph, from The King In Yellow. It seems to possess a strange siren call to the dark world of the King in Yellow and Carcosa, such that those who are exposed to it are doomed.

Tsathoggua was created by Clark Ashton Smith, and is part of the wider Cthulhu Mythos. However, the first appearance of Tsathoggua in print was in Lovecraft's 'The Whisperer in Darkness' in 1931.
'Edge of Darkness' is a Call of Cthulhu RPG pen and paper scenario, and it's the first one I ever played. I was the keeper and we had such a great time with this adventure. Highly recommended for a starting group of investigators, or even experienced ones if you have yet to play it.
This music track is dedicated to that adventure. The first 24 minutes of this track is new and is what is on the new album, the rest of this video is remixed from various tracks taking the quieter moments and creates a good seamless listening experience.
My slightly EPIC orhestral cover of the original music theme composed by Kenichi Matsubara. Copyright Konami.
The Castlevania series is one of my favourite game series of all time. From the NES classic up to the DS releases, great music, great atmosphere and I most definitely prefer the 2D games. :-)The Dreamlands: H.P. Lovecraft Orchestral Horror MusicCthulhu Mythos Music2019-09-20 | All Lovecraft inspired music is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and other services. music.apple.com/ie/artist/graham-plowman/455831619 open.spotify.com/artist/1M9jYCdzIxwDbdhm26pm1p
The Dreamlands is a whole other world accessed by humans through sleep. The Dream-quest of Unknown Kadath is one of the most famous Dreamland stories by Lovecraft. It's more of a fantasy realm than one of horror, but there are certainly many horror elements present, including the influence of Nyarlathotep who has access to this realm, and terrifying creatures such as the Men of Leng, the Moon-beasts, and many others.
Arkham. Always an evocative town and starting point to many terrifying adventures in the world of H.P. Lovecraft, particularly for role-playing Call of Cthulhu. The eclectic nature of this piece is based on the various role-playing scenarios we endured in the town of Arkham - usually ending in madness, and death!
This track is obviously inspired by the choir work on Duel of the Fates, but as with all my Star Wars inspired tracks, this is my original piece with my themes/motifs that I use across my tracks.

Another hour of ever-evolving orchestral background music for Lovecraftian board games and role-playing. The music is written to settle into the background and not be intrusive, so that you can play, work, or even study with it.
Arkham Horror, Eldritch Horror, Elder Sign, Mansions of Madness are all great games created by Fantasy Flight Games.
This ever-evolving 1 hour piece is intended as background music for Lovecraft inspired board games and role-playing.
Arkham Horror**, Eldritch Horror, Elder Sign, Call of Cthulhu pen and paper...and many more.
Can be used for anything creepy really. ;)
Please note this is mainly intended as background music - though there are various melody segments throughout, some creepy piano/music box moments, and some more ambient style moments with sound design. Overall, it mostly revolves around the orchestra instruments, as does all my work. The first half hour is mostly new music and the latter half includes slower and lower key versions of some of my recent pieces, that take on an interesting sound and tone when played slower and in a lower key. More suited to background music in this form.
'The Outsider' is possibly the first Lovecraft story I ever read (as far as I can recall). And what a story...it's more sad and melancholy than many of his other stories, with a theme of loneliness intertwined into the Gothic imagery. Therefore, the music themes here represent this more so than 'horror'.
I hope you enjoy my tribute to one of Lovecraft's greatest stories.
"The Music of Erich Zann" Lovecraft's tale of Erich Zann, a German musician who plays the viol (closer to a cello - and not a violin as shown in some images). Zann plays strange melodies never heard before in order to keep at bay a terror that comes at night and attempts to enter our world.
The Elder Things are strange plant-like alien beings that colonised Earth over 1 billion years ago. They created the all-purpose slave race called shoggoths to build their cities for them. When the shoggoths rebelled, the Elder Things fled to the ocean cities while the shoggoths remained on land and in control of the city beneath the Antarctic. In Lovecraft's story 'At the Mountains of Madness', the human expedition uncovers four frozen Elder Things which when thawed regain consciousness, kill the expedition members and then attempt to flee to their city. They are later killed however, when a shoggoth finds them. The same shoggoth causes the last two surviving members to flee in terror.
The 'Hound of Tindalos' is one of my favourite Cthulhu Mythos entities. I love this rendering of the Hound - but I don't know who the artist is this time.
Art by Richard Falla I love pictures that show Cthulhu underwater, and also ones that show less of Cthulhu in detail and more hint at his presence - or in this case, a silhouette.
"The Terrible Old Man" is a very short story written by Lovecraft in 1920. Three men plan to rob the house of an old man who's rumoured to have accumulated a lot of wealth over his long years. It doesn't end well for the men...
The King in Yellow is the name of a play in the stories of Robert W. Chambers. It's said the play will induce madness and despair in those who read it.
From the vault of the Miskatonic University comes 1 hour of orchestral underscore/ambient horror music for background use when playing Call of Cthulhu Role-playing, boardgaming with Mansions of Madness, Arkham Horror, or many other fine games.
