It's a great ending to this great tragedy! And the acting is AMAZING, I mean it's David Tennant!The other actors are also awesome!-----------------------------------~Synopsis of the play, leading up to this scene (the finale) :Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, has seen the ghost of his deceased father. The ghost tells his son that he has been murdered by his own brother, Hamlet's uncle, who is now king of Denmark after marrying Hamlet's mother, his father's wife. The ghost instructs Hamlet to avenge him. After acting out a plan to confirm whether or not his uncle really killed his father, Hamlet confronts his own mother and accidentally kills Polonius, Laertes' father. At that time, I had a slight obsession with David Tennant and started watching movies and series (other than Doctor Who) that he had stared in . And I came across this production of Hamlet. I had heard that David Tennant played Hamlet (which is a huge honor for any actor) at a theatre production, but I didn't know they made a movie!That same year, I studied the play of Shakespeare 'Hamlet' in my literature class, and after watching David Tennant's interpretation of Hamlet, I fell in love with both this movie and the play! :DThis video took me forever to make! For some reason my editing program did not like my footage of Hamlet and kept crashing...eventually I gave up, even though I was really close to being finished :(Almost two years later, (a few weeks before going to London), I had another David Tennant obsession and re-watched movies and series he had been in, including Hamlet! I can't believe I made it to round 3! :DThis was a blind challenge round. We each had to choose an element, not knowing what challenge we'd have to follow.I chose WATER : ~ "This element is fluid and by far a rather calming element, representing the will of wisdom as people flow through life. But at the same time, water can be one of the most frightening things out there. Its cold embrace can be both comforting, but soon may turn on you, enveloping you in fear as you begin to fade away."My challenge was to use this song and make a dark horror style video, using the description of water I was given and interpreting five different phobias.Phobias I used :. Hemophobia - fear of blood. Agoraphobia - fear of crowds or being in a crowded public space. Athagoraphobia - fear of abandonment. Proditiophobia - fear of betrayal. Thanatophobia - fear of deathI also had to use specific kinds of colorings. It's a great way to challenge myself and improve my editing. For my first challenge, I decided to do some storytelling. I haven't done that in a long time.Notes : - Yuna and Tifa are the same person. - The text in quotation are Tifa's words & thoughts.- The text without quotations is Kairi's letter.~ Story ~Tifa and Kairi are very close friends. However, as time passed, they grew distant to each other living their own lives. Kairi turns out, has a fatal illness from which she dies. Upon hearing about this, Tifa finds a letter that Kairi wrote to her before her death. As she reads the letter, Tifa starts to wonder why she waited to talk always later to her friend. She stops reading the letter, because it hurts too much. There were so many words unspoken that she wanted to say to her friend, but now couldn't. Devastated and blaming herself for not being there for Kairi, Tifa tries to commit suicide and fails. As she continues to cry and "drown in her regrets" she finishes reading the letter, and realizes that her friend is still with her, and has always been. Even though they grew distant they were always connected, always together. They shared a special bond formed by their friendship which will never die. Takuto x Rio - Unconditionally {MEP part} CTSD24 2014-03-02 | ~Read the Description to understand the Story~This is my first anime cross over! ^^I really like how it turned out, and I even came up with a story while making it!~ Story :Rio, a young shy girl one day starts feeling unwell as she shivers and crumbles down. Little did the people around her know, that this is something she was used to. Usually no one helped her. However, this time a young boy with a warm smile looked at her and extended a gentle hand to help her back up. Surprised, Rio smiled back at the stranger and accepted his hand. This was the start of a new friendship.Sometime later, Rio discovered Takuto's secret. She caught him singing, or rather trying to sing. His voice was broken. And it hurted, she could tell. She then realized that Takuto used to be a singer. But something happened. Takuto had rarely spoken to her, he only used hand and facial expressions to communicated. She had simply thought that he was extremely shy somewhat like her. She was wrong. Takuto was hurt, broken. Upon realizing this, Rio fell down. Takuto panicked and took her in his arms, remembering his time in the hospital, he wished her to be well and not have to go through what he did. However, he started worrying as he noticed that her chest was bleeding. This time it was Rio's secret that was exposed. Takuto found out that Rio had a heart condition, it was terminal. There was no cure or operation that could save her. Rio was dying. But she was always cheerful and smiling. Takuto couldn't understand. He explained to Rio his story. He used to be a singer, until one day he got into a motorcycle accident. It damaged his throat, including his vocal cords. It hurted him everytime he spoke. The doctors told him that he had to undergo an operation that would remove his vocal cords. But Takuto didn't want to live in a life without his voice, his voice was everything to him. He couldn't be as strong as she was. He wanted to end his life! After a heated argument in which both cried, Rio smiled at him and told him that his warm smile was all that she needed. It's simple - because it's an AMAZING studio about one of my favorite childhood shows : Code Lyoko! Also, we only do meps once a month, so it's not that bad, and my other studios haven't been too busy...so I think I can handle it.To be honest, I wasn't looking to join any more studios.But back in the beginning of September, the studio's leader (AelitaHopp3r) actually invited me to join! I believe she was hosting auditions to find a new member at the time. I was thinking about auditioning, but then decided not to because of my new busy life.She sent me a pm inviting me to join after she saw my recent vent video that I did using Code Lyoko Evolution footage (http://youtu.be/KeRa84YOInU). I couldn't believe it! Of course I couldn't resist accepting the offer, and I'm glad that I did! I've been trying to edit more with Code Lyoko, it's a shame I don't often since it is one of my favorite cartoons, so this is the perfect opportunity for me! ^^Thank you so much Katherine for giving me this great chance to join this studio and supporting my videos! :) That means a lot to me, thank you.Now about this video - this is my first time participating in one of SPE's meps! And it was quite challenging. The main challenge for me was that I did not like the song. I also didn't get to choose my part, which made it harder. However I think that this was a great opportunity, because I am thinking about doing video editing professionally and in the professional world you have to learn how to overcome challenge and be ready to take on anything that you're asked to do, even if you don't like it. We were also asked to pick out a theme. For my part, I chose the theme of friendship, to show that friendship is the greatest power that leads to victory. I believe having your friends' support gives you more strength :)In the end, I think it turned out okay and when I saw my part mixed with everyone else's part in the full mep I was surprised at how well they all fitted together perfectly yet with still keep each of their own unique editing styles.I looking forward to working on more meps with this amazing editors in this awesome studio! ^^On another note, I wonder. Does anyone actually read my descriptions? It's funny, cuz I was looking back at my first uploads on youtube, and I barely wrote a few sentences in the descriptions.
