In this video I compare my 1956 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone with the Ishimori Wood Stone “New Vintage” tenor.
I play each horn across registers and dynamics to hear how the tone, response and feel stack up.
The Selmer Mark VI is often called the gold standard of tenor saxophones. The Ishimori Wood Stone is a modern horn built with a vintage concept in mind.
