This breathtaking view footage from a flight going over London on a very clear night gave me a chance to follow our beloved River Thames from above. As a bonus, I could see most of the landmarks that make this incredible city so special.

Anyone searching the tidal River Thames foreshore will require a permit from the Port of London Authority.
