This is the haunt that became FRIGHTMAXX's #1 favorite haunted house, knocking The Netherworld in Atlanta out of the top spot. There isn't enough praise we could give this attraction. The level of detail, the dedication of the staff and actors, and the passion of the owners all align to produce a fantastic, and terrifying experience. Kings Island Haunt - Mason, Ohio Thrill Maxx 2023-09-11 | King's Island is the premier amusement park in the Cincinnati region. This park is owned and operated by Cedar Fair, the same company that owns Cedar Point. This is a fantastic park to visit, as it offers several top=notch rides and shows. Every year during the Halloween season, King's Island put on their annual HAUNT event. This event transforms the park with frightening decorations and ghoulish creatures roaming around. They also offer several haunted houses that guest can enter for an additional charge. Our favorites were the Slaughterhouse and the Kill Mart attractions. HAUNT is one of the biggest events the park puts on every year and is generally heavily attended by guests. If you are in the Mason, Ohio or Cincinnati region then we strongly encourage you to go to this event! This is a unique attraction that starts off with a train ride thru the woods. We really liked the uniqueness of the haunt, even if parts of it were not top notch. Hills Have Eyes Haunted House - Franklin Wisconsin Thrill Maxx 2023-08-24 | The Hills have Eyes is an outdoor haunted house that consists of several different trails. This haunt has an awesome party atmosphere, complete with food and a live DJ. This is an excellent example of how to put together a great haunt experience. This attraction would be good for most ages 13 and up, it is not too scary and not to weak either. We strongly suggest visiting this haunt if you have the chance! We really enjoyed our walk thru of this attraction and hope that everybody in the area has a chance to experience this top-notch haunt. Located in a former bowling alley, this haunt delivers scares around every corner. If a fast-paced, in your face type of haunt is what you like then Carnage is ready for you! Amara Aviators Lost Island Theme Park Thrill Maxx 2023-08-16 | Amara Aviators is a sky fly model built by Gerstlauer and is located at the Lost Island Theme Park in Waterloo, Iowa. This ride opened is 2022 when the park opened to the public. This is very unique flat ride, as there are only a handful of them built in the USA. This ride allows riders to use flaps on either side of the seat to be used to rotate the rider 360 degrees if they desire. Because of this the ride can be tailored to be either a graceful or intense ride depending on what the rider prefers. We highly recommend taking a ride on this attraction when visiting this park! Haunted Hoochie - Pataskala Ohio Haunted House Thrill Maxx 2023-08-07 | The Haunted Hoochie is a haunted house located in Pataskala, Ohio. This is a very unique haunt that offers a ton of shock value to its guests. This is not for younger guests to attend due to the graphic nature and partial nudity shown during the haunt. Beware the actors CAN and WILL grab/touch you during the experience. This includes using props that may touch you as well. This is not for the faint of heart. SkyBorne - Lost Island Theme Park Drop Tower POV Thrill Maxx 2023-08-07 | Skyborne is a drop tower built by S&S Worldwide and is located at Lost Island Theme Park in Waterloo, Iowa. This tower stands 180 feet tall and reaches speeds of up to 40mph during its plummet to the ground. What makes this attraction stand out from other drop towers is the elaborate themed que and pre-show experience. This has to be one of the most heavily themed drop towers in the world, and we absolutely loved every minute of it. This ride is fun for the whole family and isn't too intense. We highly recommend taking a ride, or at least walking thru the que of this attraction when visiting Lost Island Theme Park! Green Bay Fear - Green Bay Wisconsin Haunted House Thrill Maxx 2023-08-03 | Green Bay Fear is an excellent haunted house located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. First off, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff for their hospitality and support. This attraction is (in our opinion) the best haunted house in Green Bay. The actors are all volunteers and their dedication to providing top notch entertainment is abundantly evident. The sets, costumes, and make up aspects were also very well done. Fear Columbus - Columbus Ohio Haunted House Thrill Maxx 2023-08-01 | Fear Columbus is a premier haunted house located in Columbus Ohio. This attraction is not for the easily scared, as it combines amazing set designs with a barrage of scare effects. The actors are all giving their best efforts to make each guest terrified as the navigate the corridors of this truly terrifying experience. We were so impressed with the audio inside of this haunt, as it often was the scariest thing that happened.....when you visit you will understand why. Yuta Falls - Lost Island Theme Park Thrill Maxx 2023-08-01 | Yuta Falls is a flume ride built by Interlink and is located at Lost Island Theme Park in Waterloo, Iowa. This attraction is situated in the YUTA (earth) realm of the park. This is a typical flume ride that has 2 drops, one that is 7.5 meters and one that is 14 meters with slow moving water canals that separate the drops. I can say personally that the drops are super fun and exciting. This ride will get guests wet on the ride, especially those in the front row. We highly recommend that everyone in the family tries this fun flume ride when they visit the Lost Island Theme Park! This ride was originally located in South Africa, this ride was relocated to Lost Island and opened there in 2022 when the park opened to the public. This is the extended layout with an additional helix at the end of the ride. This attraction also utilizes the vest restraints which make for more of an enjoyable experience. This is an accelerator launch coaster that reaches speeds of 45 mph and heights of 79 feet. This attraction features 2 inversions, heavy theming in the station and a few moments of ejector airtime. Although the theming is not quit on the level of a Disney or Universal Park, it is more themed than your average Six Flags or Cedar Fair property. This park has one of the best coaster line-ups in the entire U.S. We absolutely recommend getting to this park to experience it if you have the opportunity to. This coaster stands 143ft tall, reaches speeds of up to 60mph, and features 7 inversions. This is a fantastic ride that is still glossy smooth to this day, 30 years later. Being one of B&M's earlier coasters, this ride is forceful and intense proving that they just don't make them like they use to! If you are a fan of rollercoasters or just like a nice intense ride then Kumba is for you. We highly recommend taking a lap on this one of a kind thrill machine. This coaster stands 150 feet tall, features one inversion and reaches speed of up to 62mph. This is quite an intense ride despite its compact footprint. I think more parks need this great coaster to their line up, it offers strong positive G's as well as some great hangtime. There isn't much to say about this ride other than if you love rollercoasters than this is a "must-do" when you visit this theme park! Riders are in for an extreme thrill machine with this attraction. The ride is butter smooth but still maintains its aggressiveness until the very end. Thie is a beautiful park that features several rides, shows, and animal exhibits. SeaWorld often does very fun food festivals and seasonal events that are geared for the whole family. There really is something to do for everyone in the family, regardless of their age. As for rollercoasters, they have several B&M models, premier rides launch coaster and a Mack water coaster. The landscaping is gorgeous at this park, featuring plenty of flowers and water features. The shows at this park are also top notch and we strongly recommend seeing at least one of the many shows they offer. If you are in the Orlando area, you should absolutely visit this park and see what it has to offer for yourself! Manta POV - SeaWorld Orlando Flying Coaster Thrill Maxx 2023-02-27 | Manta is a flying rollercoaster built by B&M in 2009 and is located at SeaWorld Orlando in Orlando, Florida. This attraction stands 140ft tall and reaches speeds of up to 56mp during its 3,359ft of track. Riders start off by being placed in the prone position to simulate flying high above the terrain. Most of this coaster consists of graceful swooping turns and zero-G rolls, however the element directly after the first drop (dubbed the Pretel loop) provides strong positive g-forces at the bottom of the maneuver. The ride offers high thrills and a smooth rider experience. We highly recommend taking a spin on this unique coaster type if you are visiting SeaWorld Orlando. This attraction stands 93ft tall and reaches speeds up to 52mph. Although the stats may not be impressive to some, they can be misleading. This ride really packs a punch in its small footprint. To start, riders will experience 4 launches (2 forward and 2 backward) before being catapulted over the first big hill before navigating through lots of tight turns and airtime hills. This is a very fun ride that is sure to delight Thrillseekers of all ages. If you ever get the chance to visit this park then make sure to take a ride on this fantastic coaster. Mako - SeaWorld Orlando - B&M Hyper Coaster Thrill Maxx 2023-02-03 | Mako at SeaWorld Orlando is a hyper coaster (a rollercoaster 200-299ft) built by the legendary B&M. This rollercoaster stands 200ft tall and reaches speeds of 73mph with 4,760ft of track length. At the time of recording, this coaster is the tallest in Orlando. This is a fantastic hyper coaster that features large drops and sustained floater airtime. The airtime is very powerful on this ride, so if you like to float out of your seat than this ride is for you. Mako is also very smooth so older riders will still be comfortable throughout the layout. This coaster is in my personal top 3 B&M hypers I have ever ridden. Scene 75 indoor theme park - Romeoville, IL Thrill Maxx 2022-12-13 | Scene 75 is an indoor theme park that is located in Romeoville, IL and opened in 2022. You can enter the park for free and if you want to ride a ride or play a game you load money onto a play card. This location features 14 attractions including: go carts, a rollercoaster, a drop tower, and so much more. Scene 75 also offers over 150 arcade games. There really is something for everyone at this new theme park. My personal favorite attraction is the Laser tag, which offers a 2-story room filled with neon lights and clever places to hide. The food is also very good for being a family fun center. We thoroughly recommend visiting this location and seeing what they have to offer for yourself! This attraction features many different scenes that are highly decorated and dialed in to bring the maximum amount of fear. This is a world-famous haunted attraction that has been featured on the Jimmy Fallon Show and has celebrities such as Kevin Hart go through it. This Legoland offers a darkride, 4d movie, many different kid's areas, VR experience, and much more. there is something for everyone to do at this awesome Lego experience. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Rockford 2022 Park Tour Thrill Maxx 2022-06-24 | Hurricane Harbor Rockford is located in Rockford, IL about an hour or so away from Great America. This park is operated by Six Flags and boasts plenty of things that families can do to beat the heat. There are many different water slides, a lazy river, kids play structure, and a nice wave pool. There is something for everybody at this park whether you want dare thrilling waterslides or simply sit back and relax. Although this waterpark is smaller than most, it still has plenty to do. We highly recommend visiting this park at least once if you are in the area!
Skyline Scream 2022 POV - Nickelodeon Universe American Dream Mall Thrill Maxx 2022-06-07 | Skyline Scream is a launched drop tower built by S&S Worldwide and is located at the Nickelodeon Universe inside the all-new American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, NJ. At the time this video was posted this ride is the tallest indoor drop tower standing at a staggering 125 feet and features a rotating platform at the top of the ride. This ride stops riders at the top giving a breath-taking view of New York City along with some Nickelodeon characters. We highly recommend trying this ride out when visiting this park! Shredder rollercoaster OnRide POV - Nickelodeon Universe NJ Thrill Maxx 2022-06-02 | Shredder is a family spinning rollercoaster built by Gerstlauer and is located at Nickelodeon Universe inside the all-new America Dream Mall in East Rutherford, NJ. This coaster has the record for being the longest spinning coaster in the world (at the time of this video) with a track length of 2,246 feet. It also stands 85 feet tall and reaches a top speed of only 36 mph. This is a fantastic family coaster that everybody can enjoy. although it is smooth, the major complaint I had was the ride seems to not spin that much. Silver Dollar City 2021 - An old Time Christmas Thrill Maxx 2022-01-03 | An old Time Christmas is an annual holiday event at Silver Dollar City. This is a fantastic event that is sure to delight the whole family. It feels like every inch of this park is covered in lights and decoration. The park tries very hard to keep all the rides running as long as weather permits them to do so. Along with the rides, this event is known to have some of the very best food and shows around. The main stage (and MUST see) show is A Christmas Carol. We are not exaggerating when we say this hour and a half long show is Broadway quality. Pair all of this with some exceptionally great food offerings and you will quickly see why Silver Dollar City is the place to be during the holidays!
