Hello Friends, and welcome aboard!! A little while ago, the unknowable wisdom of the youtube algorithm dropped me on the *train* side of youtube.... and surprisingly, I love it over here!!! And from my hours and hours of watch time, though there are a few countries that could vie for this title, I think Japan is arguably the king of cool, new, and lots of trains.... So when we were in Japan a few months ago (yes, closer to a year ago now), we decided we had to try and fulfill some of my train content fantasies - and ride on one of the overnight trains I've had my eye on for so long.
But, not only were we lucky enough to snag tickets to the viral West Express Ginga train, we also won the lottery (?!) of people who entered to get tickets to the super luxury Seven Stars train. So we have ourselves a classic "Worth It" situation - Japanese Overnight Train edition. And we're taking you guys, along for the ride!! đźš‚
