Welcome to our community slow stitching project for 2026 that is running as a beginner friendly stitch along. In this video I will show you how you can use hexagons to make a beautiful slow stitch needle book. #slowstitching
Everyone is welcome to participate and this project is beginner friendly for those new to slow stitch. We’ll usually be stitching a hexagon work mat for your studio or craft room desk featuring vintage embroideries and fabrics. I’ll be sharing vintage embroidery transfer designs from my collection and lots of inspiration to include in your own work mat. I’ll also be sharing other ideas using hexies.
You can join at any stage during the year and work at your own pace. This beginner friendly project can be tailored and adapted to the supplies and time you have on hand, and what you want to create with the hexagons. There is no cost to participate.
