In this video, I dive into the shady side of MakeWellness offering alledged bonuses to Beachbody distributors to bring their entire team over. Yes, you heard that right – bribing coaches with extra cash to switch sides. Desperation, much? Unethical, much?
Let’s be real – it’s bad enough that MLMs are already built on a pyramid of empty promises, but this? This is a whole new level of greedy and deceptive. The lack of transparency is alarming, especially for the people being lured in without knowing the full picture. Spoiler: it’s always the same story with MLMs—only a tiny few win, while the majority lose big.
I’ll be showing actual social media stories of a Beachbody reps talking about these under-the-table deals. The more you look, the worse it gets. It’s almost like they don’t want anyone to know how desperate they really are. Let’s break down why this is one more reason to steer clear of MLMs like MakeWellness (and any other MLM, for that matter).

What Chalene isn’t saying is that the issues with MLMs go beyond just “working hard” or “not finding the right team.” The truth is, MLMs rely on a predatory business model where 99% of participants actually lose money (source: FTC). Yet, instead of addressing this head-on, Chalene wants to offer you coaching (especially if you are someone approaching menopause), hoping to capitalize on those same people who’ve been burned by the MLM system.
In this video, I’ll show you why MLMs are designed to fail most people, using data from the FTC, independent studies and my personal experience as to why you should be cautious about signing up for any coaching from former MLM insiders. After all, it’s the same old sales pitch, just repackaged with a new twist in my opinion.
If you’re thinking about joining an MLM or hiring a coach like Chalene Johnson, this video will give you the facts you need to make an informed decision.

From exaggerated health claims to targeting vulnerable people with promises of a “miracle cure,” it’s important to shed light on these practices. We’ll discuss the red flags you should watch out for when encountering MLM health products and why it’s crucial to be skeptical of supplement marketing that isn’t backed by science.
This video is for educational purposes to help protect consumers from deceptive marketing in the MLM world.
If you’ve been approached by a Make Wellness rep or have seen their content online, let’s talk about the predatory tactics and misleading information that is being used to recruit new members when the products aren't available to anyone. Always do your research and consult a medical professional before taking any health supplements especially if it's from an MLM company, which seems dangerous in my opinion.

In this video, I break down how they’re trying to repackage outdated methods as something fresh and exciting for their launch of the new Modere products that were tested on 28 of their own Distributors.
A study with a sample size of only 28 people is generally considered insufficient for so many reasons, especially when it comes to making broad generalizations or conclusions about a larger population like Modere is doing with their new product launch. Here are some key points supported by scientific consensus and sources explaining why small sample sizes, like a study of 28 people, may not be effective:
1. Lack of Statistical Power
Small sample sizes reduce the ability of a study to detect true effects or differences (known as statistical power). This increases the likelihood of Type II errors (false negatives), where the study might fail to show an effect even when there is one.
Source:
• Lenth, R. V. (2001). “Some Practical Guidelines for Effective Sample Size Determination.” The American Statistician. JSTOR
2. Limited Generalizability
Studies with small sample sizes often suffer from limited generalizability. Findings from 28 participants may not accurately represent the larger population, especially if there is significant variability in factors such as age, gender, or health status.
Source:
• Ioannidis, J.P.A. (2005). “Why Most Published Research Findings Are False.” PLoS Medicine. doi:10.1371/journal.pmed.0020124
3. Increased Variability and Bias
Small sample sizes are more susceptible to outliers and random variations, which can skew results. A single outlier in a study of 28 participants can disproportionately affect the outcome, making the findings unreliable.
Source:
• Altman, D.G. (1991). “Practical Statistics for Medical Research.” Chapman & Hall.
4. Risk of Overfitting
With fewer participants, small studies risk overfitting the model to the data, meaning that the conclusions may be too tailored to the specific sample and not applicable to other groups.
Source:
• Babyak, M.A. (2004). “What You See May Not Be What You Get: A Brief, Nontechnical Introduction to Overfitting in Regression-Type Models.” Psychosomatic Medicine, 66, 411–421.
5. Publication Bias
Small studies are more likely to be subject to publication bias, where positive or significant results are more likely to be published than negative or inconclusive ones. This skews the overall body of research.
Source:
• Ioannidis, J.P.A. (2008). “Why Most Discovered True Associations Are Inflated.” Epidemiology. 19(5): 640-648.
Don’t be fooled by the hype—it’s still the same MLM playbook. Let’s talk about why this approach isn’t working, and why you should stay away from this kind of training.

So, someone thought the best way to defend their beloved MLM scheme was to come at me with an ad hominem attack. Honey, if you can’t back up your company with actual facts, maybe it’s time to rethink your business model and stop scamming people.
For those unfamiliar with this type of nonsense, let me break it down: an ad hominem attack is when someone attacks the person making the argument instead of the argument itself. It’s the classic “if you can’t beat them, insult them” approach, and guess what? It doesn’t work. 🤡 Instead of proving why their MLM is legit (spoiler: it’s not), they just try to insult the messenger.
In this video, I’ll dissect why ad hominem attacks are the last resort for people who can’t debate facts. This tactic might fly in an MLM Zoom call, but here, we deal in real logic.
🔥 If you're new here, we love debunking pyramid-shaped "business models" one scam at a time. Stick around for anti-MLM facts, snark, and a reality check for those still sipping the MLM Kool-Aid. 🎯

Modere has been promoting their Curb and Sculpt products using a mix of proprietary terms like Satiety-GLP™ and studies related to GLP-1, but these studies often reference ingredients used in much broader contexts rather than the specific formulations of these supplements. For instance, ingredients like GlycoLemon™ in Curb are marketed based on scientific studies about GLP-1 activation, but these are not directly tied to Modere’s formula. Additionally, concerns about overhyped claims and pricing inconsistencies with Modere products have been raised.

Alternatives to Make Money (Instead of Joining an MLM):
1. Freelancing:
Websites like Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer allow you to use your skills (writing, graphic design, coding, etc.) to earn money on your own terms without needing to recruit others.
2. E-commerce:
Selling on platforms like Etsy, eBay, or Amazon lets you build a business without having to rely on recruitment. You can sell your own products or source items for resale.
3. Affiliate Marketing:
Unlike MLMs, affiliate marketing allows you to earn commissions by promoting products without requiring you to recruit others into a sales hierarchy.
4. Remote Jobs:
Explore legitimate remote work opportunities in customer service, virtual assistance, writing, or tech-related fields. Many companies are hiring for remote roles on sites like FlexJobs, Indeed, and Remote.co.
5. Investing:
For those looking to build wealth, learning about and investing in stocks, bonds, or real estate can be a long-term alternative to MLMs. Many free resources and apps, like Robinhood or Fidelity, help beginners get started.

Why do people keep falling for these scams? 🚨 MLMs often promise financial freedom, but the reality is quite different. With a failure rate of over 99% for participants to make a profit, these schemes are designed to benefit only a few at the top while the majority lose money. Make Wellness is not going to be any different.
Studies have shown that MLMs rely heavily on recruitment over product sales, making them unsustainable for most individuals. Notice how these MLM participants tend to brag about the amount of recruits that have joined in a small period of time?
According to the FTC, most people who join MLMs will end up losing money rather than making a profit. Furthermore, organizations like the Consumer Awareness Institute have documented the predatory practices and financial losses experienced by MLM participants.
If you're considering joining an MLM, please think twice! Check out the links below for more information on the dark side of MLMs and why you should avoid them.

Brandon Stevens, once a high-ranking distributor in Q Sciences, is now leveraging his influence in Life Activated Brands to line his pocket. His methods aren't so much about selling products—they're about selling a lifestyle, often to the detriment of his audience. By altering his voice and presentation style, Stevens creates an illusion of authenticity and care, drawing people deeper into the MLM trap.
In this anti-MLM exposé, I will break down:
The deceptive techniques used by Brandon Stevens to build trust and loyalty among his downline.
The cult-like culture of Life Activated Brands and how it mirrors the tactics of Q Sciences in my opinion.
How voice modulation and emotional manipulation are used to keep people trapped in the MLM cycle.
Join me as we lift the veil on the dark side of MLMs, where "leaders" like Brandon Stevens use every trick in the book to keep their followers hooked. If you've ever felt pressured by an MLM leader, or if you're concerned about the impact of these schemes on your loved ones, this video is a must-watch.

We explore the reasons behind his nervousness, scrutinize the current landscape of MLM, and reveal how pyramid schemes are affecting both individuals and the scammy industry as a whole, in my opinion. Whether you're a seasoned MLM participant, considering joining a network marketing "opportunity", an MLM survivor or just curious about the inner workings of these controversial schemes, I hope this stream offers valuable insights and a critical perspective on the ongoing MLM debate. It's a horrible predatory business model that harms so many people and the fact that MLM coached exists is disgusting.

We have watched her ise religion, unschooling and so many other things to try and expand her audience. It's absolutely vile.
I am concerned about the advice that she gives around nutrition, working out and supplements. This video is beyond alarming and I highly suggest working with a Registered Dietician and or a Personal Trainer if you need assistance. Too often we see these unethical influencers include a meal plan, workout and other "supplements" that they are not qualified to share with their MLM products. According to the Commission on Dietetic Registration website, she can be reported for including meal plans and not holding proper licensure. The website is linked below. Do with that information what you will.
Please do not listen to her and her HORRIBLE advice. In my opinion, this could be detrimental to your health.

He now has a Facebook Group that is targeting Christians while using scripture to keep people in this unethical business model. I cannot imagine how Jesus would feel about that.

This is Tony and Margie. They are Social Marketers that have been with Modere since the beginning. Their energy and the things they say make me feel like they are trying to prevent people from leaving Modere and going to other companies. I don't think it's working.
I do not think that Modere is as "disruptive" as they think and the amount of products that they claim to be rolling out by the end of the year is alarming to me. How can they possibly have had the time to research the effects of taking them? Are they using their own Social Marketers to test the products and give the seal of approval? YIKES!
I can absolutely picture some of these "leaders" in the company messaging people that have left Modere and begging them to come back. We know how they are allegedly fond of special deals and contracts according to the Justin Prince/ Modere lawsuit.
In my opinion, Modere is a sinking ship and the new products they claim to be launching this year are a last stitch effort to save the company from going to an affiliate model or going full retail. What are your thoughts?

This is a Sales Director in Mary Kay that is teaching people how to get on the phone and tell people their 5 favorite things about the company in 5 minutes or less. It's absurd and the worst part is she is selling these packages that she is going to donate to people in Omaha, Nebraska that are undergoing chemotherapy. Don't worry though, she doesn't REALLY make any profit on this because she puts socks in them packages. I wish I were kidding but that's what she said in her video description..

**Who is Justin Prince?**
Justin Prince is a well-known name in the MLM community, having spent years building his brand and promoting products under various companies. However, his recent termination from Modere has raised many eyebrows and left people questioning the true nature of his business practices.
**What is Make Wellness?**
Make Wellness is Justin Prince's latest MLM startup, and it's already generating buzz in the community but not for the reasons I believe he wants. Before you get drawn in by the promises of financial freedom and health benefits, let's take a closer look at what this company is really about. Like many MLMs, Make Wellness claims to offer a life-changing opportunity, but the reality is that the vast majority of people who join MLMs end up losing money and wasting their time.
**Why Should You Stay Away?**
MLMs like Make Wellness operate on a business model that relies heavily on recruitment rather than actual product sales. In fact, this company is ONLY recruiting right now. There are no customers and there are no products available at the time of this video posting. This means that to make any substantial income, you’ll need to recruit more people into the scheme, creating a pyramid-like structure that is unsustainable and often unethical. The termination of Justin Prince from Modere is a clear indication that even those at the top of the MLM game can face serious issues, and it's a sign that all is not as it seems.
**The Truth About MLMs**
The truth is, MLMs like Make Wellness prey on the hopes and dreams of individuals looking for a better life. They sell the illusion of wealth, success, and independence, but the numbers don’t lie—most people end up in the red. So, if you’re considering joining Make Wellness or any other MLM, remember to do your research and think twice before getting involved.

In my opinion, these types of coaches are the ultimate financial predators. Why do I say that? They are allegedly coaching people how to be successful in an industry that the majority of people lose money or don't make any at all according to the Federal Trade Commission. In my opinion, that is so slimy.
So, let's chat about it! Let's discuss the manipulation we will see in this video and talk about why he might be big mad!
See you very soon!

Really pay close attention to what she is saying and I think you will notice that it's nothing more than hype. If the company wanted to be so transparent they wouldn't be doing any of the things they are doing. I think they are trying to keep anyone and everyone they can on the sinking ship called Monat which I why I don't think this will age well for this Distributor.

On this video, we are going to see how the field is taking that information and running with it. If you are someone that has weight loss goals, please work with professionals. These people in Multilevel Marketing have no idea what they are talking about and are simply parroting what the company tells them without being backed up my evidence based studies.
When I was a part of this company, I was encouraged to fast often and to cut out carbs. It was so dangerous and created a terrible relationship with food and I didn't understand how to fuel my body. It's been a very long journey to undo all of that which is why I talk about nutrition and working out the way that I do.
The keto kitchens, grocery hauls and meal plans some of these people offer that are NOT qualified to be doing are a sneaky marketing tactic to draw people in to recruit them into a failing business model. Please do not listen to these people. It can be hazardous to your health and your bank account in my opinion.

This is her "I'm back" video where she is so hyped up and ready to recruit into the next thing. I just wonder if the things she said on this about Pruvit, their numbers over the last few years and talking to her former team are breaking the settlement terms with Pruvit?

Changing anything for 5 days when it comes to your health seems to me to be under the category of being a fad, cash grab and or completely unsustainable in my opinion.
Some of the tactics in this video that they are using to encourage people to order as many products as possible is alarming to say the least. I wonder if Pruvit spent their money on having legitimate studies done on their products versus having them patented what those results would show?
It seems to me that Pruvit is becoming more and more desperate to cut corners and save money. They are changing their packaging and hosting what normally is an in person event, virtually this fall. I just wonder if they are also going to make changes to their compensation plan that will make the products cost more for their best customers, their Promoters.
Don't join an MLM, guys and please only work with professionals when it comes to your health.
Thanks for being here!

It's the "I told you so" and "This is why I pivoted last year" for me while giving people a discount code for her courses. Vultures like this, in my opinion, are always going to find ways to mention their products sneakily hidden behind "My heart goes out to the people impacted by this" posts.
That's exactly what this video was in my opinion and it's disgusting. Let me know what you thoughts are in the comments and Colleen, I hope you have the day you deserve.

If these reps were saying their Multilevel Marketing company were actually just Affiliate Marketing why are they so sad about the changes? Oh wait! That was just a marketing tactic to get away from being known as an MLM company. Got it!
These MLM are, in my opinion, the ultimate financial predators. In an industry where over 99% of people lose money or don't make any at, they are charging people to help them make it? I think it's absolutely disgusting and we are for sure going to talk more about this on the stream.
Don't join an MLM and please do not hire one of these "coaches" thinking it's going to help you get higher in the ranks in an MLM company.

Please know that their comments do not impact me in any way. I assign no value to comments left by random people on the internet. However, we are going to talk about it and you'll notice a theme with them; they don't like what I am saying and can't stop it so they resort to ad hominem attacks. That tells me everything that I need to know about their argument. They have nothing else to resort to so they have to attack me personally to make themselves feel better, in my opinion.
Anyways, I hope you are having a great day and I hope the people in this video have the day they deserve.

I have reacted to Tracy before on my channel. She is a serial MLMer that has allegedly been a part of Elomir, Awakend, Zip Slim, Paid Per Letter, Bravenly and now Farmasi. I REALLY hope that is part of her waking up and getting out of what they call Network Marketing, for good.
These are things that happen in this industry. People are told that they are a business owner and they are held to the constraints of the MLM company. Many of them have to start over on social media if which Tracy mentions briefly. Optavia is another company that "owns" their Distributor's social media pages if they ever mentioned the company on them.
The truth is that you are not a business owner in a MLM. You are a contracted worker and they can do what they please with your account according to their policies and procedures. If you are in a Multilevel Marketing company right now, I want to encourage you to do some research outside of what is provided to you by your company and upline. There are some resources that you can check out below that I hope you find helpful.

Optavia is a Multilevel Marketing company that sells prepackaged products and extremely restrictive ways of eating. In my opinion, this company teaches people to have a terrible relationship with food and is dancing the line of exhibiting disordered eating.
They claim that people only stay on the 5 and 1 Plan for 12 weeks but there are countless stories of people that were influenced by their uplines to get back on "plan." The 5 and 1 plan instructs people to take in 800-1000 calories a day for adults and I've seen some kids taking their products. It's beyond alarming. Their products have been reviewed by several other creators that I will link below.
In this video we are going to see one of their reps targeting specific groups of people and offering to pay for some of their products. They call these "Wellness Credits" and it typically comes out of the Distributors pocket because they are desperate for customers and "coaches." Please do not fall for this kind of scheme. You are going to be so much better off working with a Registered Dietician and learning how to navigate building a complete plate and developing a healthy relationship with food.

It's really quite foul considering the majority of money made in these schemes is through recruiting other people. In my opinion Connie has been in MLM for some time and she know how to work what I believe to be a product based pyramid scheme.
If you have to weaponize religion and spirituality in order for people to join a scheme that is lining your pocket financially while claiming you're doing it different, you might me the most unethical person on social media. Of course, that is just my opinion. Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

A couple of content warnings: spiritual manipulation and mentions of mental health struggles.
This is a perfect example of how people in MLM join a new company and then talk about all the things that were wrong with the previous company in order to recruit. The fascinating part is that they typically don't talk about the problems in the previous Multilevel Marketing company while they are in it because that would dramatically impact their income in a negative way. The most shocking part about this live was she mentions that she knew it wasn't working for her and her downline but still was recruiting into Young Live and was considered a "Top Enroller". That made me sick to my stomach.
