This bomb shelter was originally built by the Germans around World War II. When the war was over and the Czech Republic fell under Soviet military rule, the bunker was taken over by the People’s Army and converted into a top secret hideout to be used in the case of nuclear fallout. Luckily, this bunker never served its original purpose. To date, pretty much everything remains in original condition. There is a retro restaurant inside, and visitors can spend the night if they wish.
