It’s time to fix a few mistakes in the miniature kitchen, and the old kitchen pump needs a complete overhaul!
I had to reconstruct the old kitchen pump without repainting it, since I didn’t have any of the original paint left. I also added a faux marble backsplash to give the pump area a finished, realistic look.
Come along as I repair, rebuild, and add those little details that bring this miniature kitchen back to life. It's created a whole new look for the kitchen!

I made a DIY wooden loom for weaving miniature rugs! After last week’s cardboard loom experiment, I’m upgrading to a homemade wooden loom and putting it to the test.
In this video, I’ll show you how I designed and made this miniature weaving loom, including the tweaks I made along the way to get it working just right. Then it’s time to see how well it actually works for weaving tiny rugs!
If you enjoy DIY looms, miniature weaving, handmade miniature rugs, weaving projects, woodworking, and creative crafts, I hope you’ll enjoy watching this project come together.

I’m trying out a completely new technique for making tiny rugs, weaving on a little cardboard loom!
The best part? I’m using free and leftover materials, so this is a wonderfully inexpensive way to add some handmade textiles to a miniature scene. The possibilities with this technique are surprisingly varied, and I’m excited to see where it leads.

I went on a miniature-filled adventure through London, Brussels and Denmark, exploring museums, exhibitions, and even an unforgettable concert in search of inspiration. Along the way, I discovered beautiful works of art, unexpected details, and a recurring theme of mermaids that found their way into my creative process for my Miniature in Tune classes.
Wherever you find inspiration, there’s always another little treasure waiting to be discovered.

My workshop has disappeared under a mountain of dollhouse miniatures… so it’s time to take it back! 😅
After all the excitement of events like The Kensington Dollshouse Fair and Miniature in Tune, I finally had to face the state of my workshop. Over the past year, I’ve been incredibly lucky to receive so many generous donations of dollhouse miniatures, furniture, materials, and miniature-making supplies—but there was one small problem… I had run out of space!
In this video, I’m sorting, clearing, organising, and cleaning my miniature workshop, while rediscovering some wonderful treasures along the way. And, as often happens when you start tidying a workshop, I found things I had completely forgotten about!
Some miniatures had been tucked away so carefully that I hadn’t even noticed them when they were first donated. From forgotten treasures to useful materials and delightful little surprises, you never know what you might uncover beneath the clutter.
So grab a cup of tea and join me for a satisfying workshop clear-out, a little miniature treasure hunting, and hopefully the transformation of my chaotic workspace into somewhere I can actually work again!
If you enjoy dollhouse miniatures, miniature making, workshop organisation, crafting and behind-the-scenes videos, I hope you’ll enjoy coming along with me.
