McDonalds - McFlurry of Summer Hacks and Breaches Slop Media Network 2025-08-23 | This summer of 2025 has not been good for McDonald's. McDonald's has suffered from multiple hacks and breaches, notably a breach disclosure on their McHire site powered by Olivia AI created by Paradox AI. Their McDonald's and CosMc's apps also weren't spared, with both apps using client side validation only for their points and coupons promotions, which allowed ethical hackers to order free food. Now if all of that wasn't bad enough, it was also discovered that many of the internal McDonald's sites had next to no basic security allowing for easy access to various private and confidential files and documents.
