This is part 1 of a larger series I'm doing on PirateSoftware, where I'll be judging his job history, industry claims, development hell, DRM solutions, and game code. In this part 1 I'm just going through his job history + industry claims, and the development hell that is currently effecting his game Heartbound. Part 2 has me reviewing his DRM solutions, and code, along with performing code reviews, offering technical solutions, and showing how his DRM can be reverse engineered and broken. I may or may not do a part 3 going over his hacking claims and credentials.

McDonald's has suffered from multiple hacks and breaches, notably a breach disclosure on their McHire site powered by Olivia AI created by Paradox AI. Their McDonald's and CosMc's apps also weren't spared, with both apps using client side validation only for their points and coupons promotions, which allowed ethical hackers to order free food. Now if all of that wasn't bad enough, it was also discovered that many of the internal McDonald's sites had next to no basic security allowing for easy access to various private and confidential files and documents. A rough summer indeed.

More than likely Remedy is counting every player, from GamePass and PS Plus, as well as every steam user with a copy owned. Many game studios have started talking in players instead of units sold to try and make the launch of a game seem better than it is. In this short analysis I break down a more optimistic and generous breakdown of possible units sold within the opening weeks of the game's launch. Along with the total possible sales figures, from my estimates Remedy is on track to lose roughly $10 million USD on this game. With the player base to disappear and game servers likely to shut down within 1 years time at this rate.Concord Dev Build LeakedSlop Media Network2025-06-27 | An earlier dev build of Sony's Concord has been leaked online.
