LIVE! ~8% Shiny Pineco After 4,723 REs via Emerald GBA Insertion [Platinum] Brance 2017-10-08 | The trick for Pinsir which resulted in shiny pineco involves quite a few variables. The 40% swarm for Pinsir, Level 48 Repel Trick to remove 5% pidgey, Emerald GBA Slot Insertion for Pineco, and setting the game time to Night for Ariados to appear. Morning gives Ledyba and Day gives pidgey. I decided to do slot insertion because it overwrites the 4% beautifly and 4% dustox encounter slots. Since I already have both it increases the chance of finding something new if I were not to get my target. Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby are all viable insertions making this a very diverse route. LIVE! Shiny Nidoran F After 2,518 REs (+Evolutions) (Virtual Console) [Silver] [DTQ #2] Brance 2017-09-29 | This hunt used a level 12 Repel Trick which gets rid of the unwanted teleport Abra and Ditto and increases Nidoran Female to 35%. Yanma is easily the fastest available Pokemon on the route and can be caught at level 12 for the Repel trick. At the end of the video is the evolution for Nidorina and NidoqueenThere are only 2 moon stones available before Mount Moon in Kanto but you have to go out of your way to find them if you don't want to wait that long to evolve your Nidorina or Nidorino into Nidoqueen or Nidoking. The simplest one requires surf and is located just inside the entrance of Tohjo falls. The more difficult method involves giving your mother money to save. If you give her $18,300 and then win 5 battles she will send a moon stone to your pc box. Espurr itself is quite possibly the scariest looking Pokemon so I was upset to have gotten not just one but two. However, after my second Espurr I decided to take a peak at the shiny forms for Meowstic and completely changed my mind. I can't believe how lucky and amazing it was to have found one of each gender!
