It's crazy how 10 years ago smartphones were brand spanking new and everyone was so skeptical over them, now it's the norm and practically 9/10 people (especially around my age and during this pandemic) are addicted to them.Rather than this aiming at "making my life more difficult" because I can't do what certain people expect me to because i don't have a smart phone, I'm trying to make my own life better by letting go of expectations but mainly by letting go of this cursed box that has been glued to my hands for the past 6 or so years. Such overmarketed and over normalized convenience comes at a price to our development, mental health, society, and communities. As someone who has been highly addicted to my phone, I can attest this will be difficult but I want to continue to see what happens. As I stated I've had this phone for quite a bit now, but since I was home and it's been a pandemic, I haven't felt the whole stress until now, and atop it is the stress of being a new student. So, in pursuit of knowledge and for fun, I decided to see what would happen to me if I ignored my reflection for a whole week. Since I live with my entire family, I couldn't tape off every mirror in my house like I wanted to like other YouTubers who did the same challenge did. The results were good, I realized a lot about self-perception, self-consciousness and how much better I feel without looking in a mirror...or rather how much I stopped caring about my appearance.While doing this challenge I decided against making an update every single day, since there really wasn't much to talk about. Pre-T transition DEPO UPDATE (November 2018) woe laddy 2018-11-13 | This video is pretty personal so if you know me in person please think twice about watching it, but if you dont mind hearing this shit then go ahead. I wanted to keep tabs on my progress and the effects that depo provera has had on me. I have emotionally been all over the place and i guess you could say i have been acting out ever so often...If i was not on DEPO the dysphoria that comes with those ' things' would be getting to me much much more. Being on DEPO has allowed me to stop worry about my entire life being put on hold because of something that is so out of my control. I plan to continue being on DEPO until I am able to transition via Testosterone.
