Episode 0.5 - Rhinebeck Weekend Shenanigans Pt. 2 LolaBean Yarn Co. 2022-10-18 | The LBYC Team returns for part two of their conversation about their experience during Rhinebeck Weekend 2022.The show opens on a serious note as both Adella and Jimmy address the lack of mask wearing during the weekend. They took responsibility for their own shortcomings and how their comfort level led to complacency and a failure to execute their plan to stay masked up for the health and safety of others.The team began discussing the events from Day 2. Since 2019, LolaBean Yarn Co has partnered with Cece's Wool to raise awareness about voter suppression. They talked about this partnership and being excited and grateful to meet and greet so many people at Cece's booth. They talked about walking into The C Word's booth and the beautiful crochet patterns that were on display. Episode 0 - Rhinebeck Weekend Shenanigans Pt. 1 (Wool & Folk) LolaBean Yarn Co. 2022-10-18 | The LBYC Team discusses all the wonderful people they met (some for the very first time) and things that they experienced during Rhinebeck Weekend 2022. The first topic was their initial apprehension about traveling and whether or not events of 2021 would play a factor over the course of the weekend. They make mention of their stay at a lovely cottage in Clinton Corners, NY.The conversation shifts to their experience at the Wool & Folk Festival which took place at the Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, NY. The LBYC Team spoke of being a sponsor for this event. The first vendor that the team visited were the wonderful folks at The Lamb & Kid, who happened to be live-streaming via Instagram.
