Lyrics:
Oh baby, you killing me on my feet
Oh baby, you know, you killing me on my feet
You won't let me rest in the daytime
And all night you won't let me sleep
But the little girl she came to me one morning
And said Sonny Boy, I apologize
Come tell me one morning, said Sonny Boy, I apologize
So I told the little girl I'm gonna forgive you baby so you can have one more try
There's one thing, baby, now really I want you to do
Treat me nice Mama, and I won't love nobody but you
Treat me kind. There ain't nothin' I wouldn't do
Come home now darling, I won't love nobody but you

Lyrics: Tired of bein' lonely.
I'm tired of bein' angry.
Tired of bein' hungry.
I'm just tired of bein' tired.
This is insane;
There's gotta be a change in my life.
Tired of the addictions.
Tired of the afflictions.
All the contradictions.
I'm just so, so tired.
This is insane;
There's gotta be a change in this life.
Yeah, I'm still doin' things
That I don't want to do.
But I know there's a Power
Gonna see me through!
Make it all brand new!
Woah, save me, save me!
Save me from this hell.
Lead me to the river.
I will drink from the water
And thirst no more.
Instrumental
I'm still doin' things
That I don't want to do.
But I know there's a Power
Gonna see me through!
Make it all brand new!
Woah, save me, save me!
Save me from this hell.
Lead me to the river.
I will drink from the water
And thirst no more.
Instrumental
Oh, save me, save me!
Save me from this hell.
Lead me to the river.
I will drink from the water
And thirst no more.

Terry Robb and I are music lovers. That is to say we respect and are into all music. Both of us have our own bands that play a wide range of styles. But on our off nights we get together and play our first love, the stuff we cut our teeth on. The low down, stinky, stunky, funky blues.
We took some of our favorite songs, just went in and beat up on 'em. We moved away from trying to duplicate the old masters
(look nobody can do Muddy Waters like Muddy, or Elmore,, etc..) nuff said. Terry played acoustic hollow-body guitar on all cuts, no solid body guitar. None of the songs required more than two takes. The meter might change a little or my harp might be old and play a touch flat, but that is a part of the spontaneity and vibe that this music is about. We just went in and Hit It 'n Quit It.

Angels from Hazard ► http://bitly.ws/P7Uo #blues
About, Angels From Hazard cd available from bandvillage.com CdBaby.com as well as available digitally from 140 music sites worldwide. Let’s face it, 42 years is a long time to wait for anything. After spending most of his career playing guitar as a sideman, in 2008 Greg Poulos finally released a CD he can call his own, entitled Angels From Hazard. A true labor of love, this eclectic CD contains 7 originals and 5 covers, spanning multiple flavors of #Blues, Rock, Country, jazz, and R&B.
About, In the early winter of 1976, Greg was broke, hardly working, and living in an unheated garage in Boulder, Colorado. Greg caught word that FREDDIE KING was in town, and was holding auditions for a new rhythm guitarist. Greg invited a bunch of his buddies to watch him audition at a club called The Good Earth. Needless to say, Greg got the gig, and a few days later he was onstage at THE STARWOOD in Los Angeles, playing alongside Freddie and some very special guests. Over the years, Greg has become adept at playing many different kinds of music. He will tell you that this is both because of his desire to keep growing as a musician, and also for economic survival. Versatility translates to more gigs, especially in this area. A couple of his favorite contemporary musicians are Robben Ford and Johnny A, who find a way to effortlessly blend Blues, Rock, and Jazz. On Greg’s new CD, ANGELS FROM HAZARD, you will hear him cover a lot of ground. But as many musicians will tell you, no matter what style of music Greg is playing, you will always hear the blues. Rock Bottom used to say “If you don’t live it, you can’t give it.” When Greg plays, you will hear that lifetime of experience in every note.

Lyrics: I work hard every day just to pay the rent.
I work hard every day just to pay the rent.
Before the week is gone, ooh, the money's all been spent.
Starin' at the wall, at the clock that's tellin' time,
Starin' at the wall, the clock is tellin' time,
Lookin' out my window, ooh, with a woman on my mind.
A house is cold and lonely, when the woman's ain't around.
A house is cold and lonely, when that woman's ain't around.
Glad you're here sweet Jesus, ooh, You keep my world from fallin' down.
Instrumental
Thinkin' 'bout you baby, would you ever do me right?
Thinkin' 'bout you baby, would you ever do me right?
I need to feel you near me, ooh, I need you here tonight.
Instrumental to end

Lyrics: Do I move you, are you willing
Do I groove you, is it thrilling
Do I sooth you, tell the truth now
Do I move you, are you loose now
The answer better be yes
That pleases me...
Are you ready, for this action
Does it gives you satisfaction
Are you hear to what I'm saying
If you are, then lets start swinging
The answer better be yes
That pleases me... that pleases me..
When I touch you, do you quiver
From your head, down to your liver
If you like it, let me know it
Don't be secret, while you know it
The answer better be yes
That pleases me... that pleases me..
Who is Annika? Annika (former Salminen) was the first real bluesrock singer in Finland. She started her carrier at 14 years old as a singer for the bluesrock band Model 73. It quickly became clear that her talent was undeniable. Despite her young age, she already had a very powerful voice and a completely unique sound.
Her roots in the blues. The late 1960s and early 1970s were an interesting time. Blues made its entry into Finnish homes and record players thanks to Woodstock. Annika was drawn to the music. She sneaked into the first Ruisrock Festival in 1970 when she was only 13 years old. Bluesrock had its prime time and at home parties, teenagers listened to John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters as well as the more contemporary Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Cream, Led Zeppelin, John Mayall, Yardbirds, Peter Green and many others.
Dead End 5. At first their name was Ego Trip (completely in the psychedelic spirit of the time). Their music had a blues foundation but later got a heavier sound with a new drummer. The band changed their name to Dead End 5 and switched from English to Finnish and their sound was characterized by a sense of freedom without boundaries between the different blends of genres. They toured all over Finland and played as supporting act to Dr.Feelgood and Hurriganes among others. Annika was also chosen as the best rock singer in 1976. Dead End 5 recorded four singles and two full length albums on the record label Finnlevy.
Life after Dead End 5. The rock scene in Finland changed drastically during the 70's. DE5 came to the end and Annika moved from Turku to Helsinki. Annikas potential was recognized by various record labels which led to a three year long adventure as a Finnish schlager singer. Tours with Danny, Freeman and others took Annika even outside of Finland, all the way to the Sinai Peninsula. Annika also recorded a solo album in Finnish where the song "Enkelit heittää arpaa" (Carly Simon's Bond song “Nobody Does It Better” in Finnish) is best remembered as a hit song on the radio. There was no shortage of gigs and Annika became more and more experienced but Annika didn’t become a schlager singer despite her persistent attempts. Annika packed her bags and moved to Sweden.
Return of the blues rock queen. Her love for the blues never went out - it has always been there and given Annika strength in difficult times. Annika prepared for her return by touring with the band Blues Alone. Blues Alone released an EP in the spring of 2016. It received an excellent reception among blues fans.
Reborn. It’s finally time to release the long-awaited bluesrock album "Reborn". Everything that Annika collected during the decades is on this album. Original songs with musicians and producers in top class. The songs are mainly composed by Annika's brother Jari Salminen (Buck Jones) who has a long career in rockabilly and is still touring.
”Reborn” was recorded in Park Studio and Studio Dubois with Christoffer Roth as technician and Gunnar Muvemba Lindtröm as producer.

Samuel McClain (April 15, 1943 – June 15, 2015), better known as Mighty Sam early in his career, and later billed as Mighty Sam McClain, was an American soul blues singer and songwriter.
He was born in Monroe, Louisiana. As a five-year-old, he began singing in his mother's Gospel Church. McClain left home when he was thirteen and followed local R&B guitarist, Little Melvin Underwood through the Chitlin' Circuit, first as his valet and then as lead vocalist himself at 15.
While singing at the 506 Club in Pensacola, Florida he was introduced to the record producer and DJ, Papa Don Schroeder and in 1966, McClain recorded a cover version of Patsy Cline's "Sweet Dreams". Several recording sessions at Muscle Shoals produced the further singles, "Fannie-May" and "In the Same Old Way". For fifteen years, first in Nashville, Tennessee, then in New Orleans, McClain worked at menial jobs. McClain toured and recorded in Japan in 1989. The end product, Live in Japan, featured Wayne Bennett.
By the early 1990s, relocated to New England through his participation in the "Hubert Sumlin Blues Party" project. This led to Joe Harley and AudioQuest Music and Manager, PETER LEMBO. The results were the successful releases, Give It Up To Love and Keep On Movin'. After his move to New Hampshire, then followed Sledgehammer Soul and Down Home Blues. In 1998 McClain had two releases, Journey and Joy & Pain on the CrossCut Records label. Soul Survivor: The Best of Mighty Sam McClain was his farewell to AudioQuest in 1999. McClain signed on with the Telarc Blues in 1999, taking his longtime producer Joe Harley with him, and recorded the Blues Music Award nominated Blues for the Soul (2000) and Sweet Dreams (2001).
In 1996, McClain formed McClain Productions after successfully co-producing his albums with Joe Harley. He also created his own record label, Mighty Music, which released One More Bridge To Cross in February 2003. Betcha Didn't Know was issued in July 2009 on Mighty Music. It was nominated by the Blues Association as 'Soul/Blues Album 2010'.
In 2008, McClain joined the 'Give US Your Poor' project, benefiting the homeless. He also co-wrote with the saxophonist Scott Shetler, "Show Me the Way". He continued to work with this project, performing at both the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City, and at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and other venues, sharing the stage with Natalie Merchant, and Mario Frangoulis. In early 2009, McClain recorded an album of duets with the Iranian folk singer, Mahsa Vahdat. The resulting album, Scent of Reunion: Love Duets Across Civilizations reached 6 in the European World Music Chart.
McClain and the guitarist for this project, Knut Reiersrud, collaborated on One Drop is Plenty that was recorded in Norway in January 2011. Also, McClain sung the theme song for the film, Time and Charges. "Find the Sun" was written by Thompson and Joe Deleault, and McClain appeared in a cameo role in the film singing the song.
McClain recorded Too Much Jesus (Not Enough Whiskey) in 2012. The following year the title song, "Too Much Jesus (Not Enough Whiskey)," written by McClain and Pat Herlehy, was nominated for a Blues Music Award in the 'Best Song' category.
In 2014 McClain was featured on the compilation Songs from a Stolen Spring that paired Western musicians with artists from the Arab Spring. On the album McClain performed "If I Can Dream" - a Walter Earl Brown song made famous by Elvis Presley. The performance was meshed with "Bread, Freedom" by the Egyptian musician Ramy Essam who is best known for his appearances in Tahrir Square in Cairo during the Egyptian Revolution of 2011.
McClain lost a long battle with colon cancer and died on June 15, 2015.

Lyrics: The sky is crying,
Can you see the tears roll down the street.
The sky is crying,
Can you see the tears roll down the street.
I've been looking for my baby
And I've been wondering where can she be
I my baby early one morning
She was walking on down the street
I my baby early one morning
She was walking on down the street
You know it hurt me, hurt me so bad
It made my poor heart skip a beat
I got a real, real fine feeling
That my baby she don't love me no more
I got a real, real fine feeling
That my baby she don't love me no more
You know the sky's been crying
Can see you see the tears roll down my door
Johnson was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi, on November 25, 1928. Several of his brothers had careers in music, among them soul musician Syl Johnson and bassist Mack Thompson, who played with Magic Sam. In his younger years, he played piano and sang in gospel groups. He and his family moved to Chicago in 1950, where he worked as a welder and played guitar in his spare time. He began playing professionally with Slim Willis in 1959, changing his last name to Johnson, as did his brother Syl. As a guitarist he was influenced by Buddy Guy and Otis Rush. He played with Freddie King, Albert King, Magic Sam, Otis Rush, and Eddy Clearwater, among others.
Career
In the 1960s, Johnson began to focus on soul, working with Otis Clay, Denise LaSalle, and Garland Green. He had his own group from the early 1960s, and by the mid-1960s had released his first single. By 1974, Johnson had returned to playing blues, working with Jimmy Dawkins and touring Japan with Otis Rush in 1975.
Johnson's first solo albums appeared on MCM Records in 1978 and Delmark Records in 1979, when he was fifty years old. Reviewing the 1979 Johnson's Whacks, Robert Christgau wrote in Christgau's Record Guide: Rock Albums of the Seventies (1981): "Syl's cousin performed better on Alligator's Living Chicago Blues Volume I, but only marginally, and he compensates by showing unexpected chops as a writer. Whether hoping to make the cover of Living Blues magazine or complaining that women aren't loyal any more, he comes across as a bold-faced contemporary. But his basic wail starts to sound thin after a while, his band is only solid, and his guitar can't carry the extra load."
In November 1980, Johnson was awarded at the first annual Blues Music Awards, held in Memphis. His career continued to pick up until December 2, 1988, when his touring van crashed in Indiana, killing his band's keyboardist, St. James Bryant, and bassist, Larry Exum. Johnson was injured and took an extended break from the music industry. He returned to record for Verve Records in 1994. In 2002, he recorded with his brother Syl for the album Two Johnsons Are Better Than One. He remained active and toured Europe in 2009, performing in the United Kingdom and at the Copenhagen Blues Festival in Denmark. Jimmy Johnson was still doing guest performances at 90 years old. He performed with the Dave Spector Band at the Blues, Brews and BBQ in McHenry, IL on August 17, 2019 playing guitar and singing Cold Cold Feeling (a T-Bone Walker song).
Later life
Johnson was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2016. On June 7, 2019, while performing at the 36th annual Chicago Blues Fest, Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot officially declared it to be Jimmy Johnson Day. He was honored as "Best Blues Guitar Player" in 2020 by Living Blues, before being named "Blues Artist of the Year" the following year.
Johnson died at his home in Harvey, Illinois, on January 31, 2022, at the age of 93, six days before the death of his brother Syl.

Clio & the BluesHighway - My First Blues (feat. Patrick Camiré)
These days go by, like a distant shade
and there you're the best, come back again
bringing back that feeling....a feeling when I 'ave to chose
but don't you forget babe...you were always my first blues
You know some hearts keep beating together, even when they're apart
and I still see your figure in the shadows after dark
and when the lights go out around me, and I'm feeling confused
I think about you bebe....cause you were always my first blues,
my first blues,
Going back babe, that'd be brakin' the rules
cause there's nothing to learn, from this aimless game we play like fools
you'll be lucky if you win, oh you'll know if you lose
don't you forget babe, you were alaways my first blues,
my first blues, always my first blues
my first blues, my first blues
non native here, feel free to correct anything wrong
Keep rockin'

Luke's Juke - EP http://bitly.ws/CRa7
Lyrics:
I can settle down and be doin' just fine
'Til I hear an old train rollin' down the line
Then I hurry straight home and pack
And if I didn't go, I believe I'd blow my stack
I love you, baby but you gotta understand
When the Lord made me, He made a ramblin' man
Some folks might say that I'm no good
That I wouldn't settle down if I could
But when that open road starts to callin' me
There's somethin' o'er the hill that I gotta see
Sometimes it's hard but you gotta understand
When the Lord made me, He made a ramblin' man
I love to see the towns a-passin' by
And to ride these rails 'neath God's blue sky
Let me travel this land from the mountains to the sea
'Cause that's the life I believe He meant for me
And when I'm gone and at my grave, you stand
Just say, God's called home your ramblin' man

Lyrics: I'm on the wonder
If you ever think of me
I'm on the wonder
If you ever think of me
Lord know, I love you
But I'm linvin' in misery
Tell me why
Why you treat me just the way you do
Tell me why, tell me why
Why you treat me, the way you do
You know girl, you make me love
Then you turned around
And you treat me
Just like a fool
I'm on the wonder
If you ever think of me
I'm on the wonder
If you ever think of me
Little girl you know I love you
But I'm linvin' in misery

BUCKWHEAT ZYDECO
American musical legend Stanley “Buckwheat” Dural Jr. (November 14, 1947 – September 24, 2016) —along with his band, Buckwheat Zydeco—was the preeminent ambassador of Louisiana zydeco music. The New York Times said, “Stanley ‘Buckwheat’ Dural leads one of the best bands in America…a down-home and high-powered celebration, meaty and muscular with a fine-tuned sense of dynamics…propulsive rhythms, incendiary performances.”
Over the course of his five-decade career, Dural had over 25 albums to his credit, five Grammy Award nominations and one Grammy victory. He and his band performed non-stop all over the world, playing with everyone from Eric Clapton and U2 to Robert Plant and The Boston Pops. The band played at the closing ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Olympics and entertained President Clinton twice, celebrating both of his inaugurations. They appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman, CNN, The Today Show, MTV, NBC News, CBS Morning News and many other programs. They also played the final episode of The Late Show With Jimmy Fallon.

► Felix Pappalardi was most famous as the producer of Cream and the bassist for one of the first American hard rock acts, Mountain; sadly, he's also remembered for the tragic shooting that claimed his life at age 43. Pappalardi was born December 20, 1939, in the Bronx and studied classical music at the University of Michigan; upon returning to New York, he was unable to find work as a conductor and soon drifted into the Greenwich Village folk scene. He soon made a name for himself as a skilled arranger, and from there moved into record production, initially concentrating on folk and folk-rock acts like Tim Hardin, the Youngbloods, Joan Baez, Richard & Mimi Farina, Ian & Sylvia, and Fred Neil. However, it was Pappalardi's late-'60s work with the psychedelic blues-rock outfit Cream -- beginning with their second album, Disraeli Gears -- that really established his reputation; Pappalardi sometimes contributed additional instrumentation for his imaginative studio arrangements and he and wife, Gail Collins, co-wrote "Strange Brew" with Eric Clapton.
In 1968, Pappalardi was asked to produce an Atlantic Records band called the Vagrants, which featured a young guitarist named Leslie West. The following year, he produced West's solo album Mountain; after Cream disbanded, Pappalardi and West formed the hard rock band Mountain, whose hit single "Mississippi Queen" remains a staple of classic rock radio. Mountain broke up in 1972, reunited in 1974, and disbanded again in 1975; afterwards, Pappalardi was forced to, for the most part, retire from performing due to partial hearing loss caused by Mountain's extreme volume. However, he was able to return to production, and also recorded an album with the Japanese hard rock outfit Creation, who had opened for Mountain on their Japanese tours; Felix Pappalardi & Creation was released on A&M in 1976. In 1979, Pappalardi released his first proper solo album, Don't Worry, Ma, which reflected his growing interest in funk, jazz fusion, and reggae, and featured a large supporting cast, including bassist Chuck Rainey and drummer Bernard "Pretty" Purdie.
On the night of April 17, 1983, tragedy struck: Pappalardi was shot once in the neck by his wife, Gail Collins, and killed. He had been involved in a long-standing affair with a younger woman, of which Collins had knowledge; however, a jury supported Collins' claim that the shooting was accidental, occurring while Pappalardi was showing her how to use the gun. She was convicted of criminally negligent homicide rather than the far more serious charge of second-degree murder; sentenced to four years, Collins quietly disappeared afterward.
Lyrics: There is nothing I can do, if you leave me, with a cry
There is nothing I can do, if you leave me, with a cry
You know my love will follow you as the years go passing by
I gave you all of my own, that's one thing you can't deny
Yeah, I gave you all my own, that's one thing you can't deny
You know my love will follow you as the years go passing by
I'm gonna leave it up to you, so long, so long, good bye
I'm gonna leave it up to you, so long, so long, good bye
You know my love will follow you, as the years go passing by

Lyrics: Tears don’t run dry
Living in this world without you babe
And tears don’t run dry
Living in this world without you babe
You found someone else to love
And there’s no point for me to try
This room is empty and cold
Living in this world without you babe
This room is empty and cold
Living in this world without you babe
These four walls now surround me
Oh, and I got no one to hold
I got no one
I got no one to hold
And all I had from you is lost
Living in this world without you babe
And all I had from you is lost
Living in this world without you babe
This poor heart of mine
Oh, I guess it had to pay the cost

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album ''You Don't Know Me'' music.apple.com/au/artist/salvo-rizzuto/360476186
Lyrics:
Some people say - that the songs I sing are blue
And maybe what they say, what they say…
Just might be true
But let me tell you – this is the way I really feel
And everything I do
It’s not fake – it’s really real
And I’m not ashamed to sing the blues
Oh-ooh-oh… I’m not ashamed to sing the blues
Some people say - that the blues are really dumb
They just don’t know… they don’t know where I’m coming from
And I just wanna tell you - It’s the way I feel inside
‘Cause love and happiness - will put tears in your eyes
And I’m not ashamed to sing the blues
NO-ooh-oh… I’m not ashamed to sing the blues
Guitar solo
And I’m not ashamed to sing the blues
NO-ooh-oh… I’m not ashamed to sing the blues
Some people say - that my songs are just too sad
I don’t think so, when I think about the fun I’ve had
Livin’ and lovin’, failin’ and achievin’
Then laughin’ and cryin’ – Ooh…
Leavin’ and-a grievin’
And I’m not ashamed to sing the blues
Gonna say it again - I’m not ashamed to sing the blues
No-no-no…. no… not me…

''Enjoy Your Day'' Single Love Is https://t.ly/kHsS
Lyrics: You got someone to talk to
When the whole world is on your mind
You got someone beside you
Keeping you warm at night
Never alone, No matter where you go
When someone cherish you dreams
Yeah love, love is such a lovely place to be
I see a couple like us,
walking hand in hand
See them laughing with each other
And I hope they understand
They found the good thing,
They found the one thing
that makes a life complete
Yeah love, love is such a lovely place to be
Love is the house
where you hide from the pain
it's the roof over your head
that keeps you from pounding in the rain
I wish I could go back,
I would running by
To let you sheltered me
Cause love, love is such a lovely place to be
I'm down on the highway
everybody making deeds
I long for the trust we shared
And the way that
you always make things free
But now I know
I can only go
Back in my memory
To where, love is such a lovely place to be
Love is the house
where you hide from the pain
it's the roof over your head
that keeps you
from pounding in the rain
If I could go back
I would run, I would run on back
and let you shelter me
Oh babe cause,
Love is such a lovely place to be
God I miss our love,
Love is such a lovely place to be
After releasing 4 albums in the Roots Rock and Blues genres that received generous radio airplay, Don Ray reaches back to his Country roots to release his first Americana Country album, Band of Gypsies.
The album pays tribute to his late steel guitar playing father by featuring steel guitarist Tony Paoletta throughout each song. Don says of the album, “The steel guitar is really the reason for the entire album.” “It takes me back to my first musical memories.” Continuing, “My dad and Tony actually shared the stage once when Tony and I were in the band Silver Creek back in the 80s.”
Don is also joined by Musicians Hall Of Fame guitarist Will McFarlane on both acoustic and electric guitars. This is the second album they have performed on together. Will also Co-Produced the Don Ray Band album, Full Throttle.
Once again Don invited his friend, the former lead singer of Little Feat, Ms. Shaun Murphy to sing together on the duet We Should Have Met. This is the 2nd duet for the pair.
As with his two previous albums, Band of Gypsies was recorded in the Muscle Shoals area by Grammy award winning engineer, Jimmy Nutt, at his NuttHouse studio in Sheffield.
Don Ray was born into a musical family in Sioux City, IA. He got his first drum kit at age 4 and began playing drums in his Dad’s band at the age of 10. He left the Midwest for Austin, TX. at age 18. Don played drums and sang for several regionally successful Texas bands until landing the gig with Texas Legend, Fiddlin’ Frenchie Burke.Don performed with Frenchie throughout the mid 80s. Don’s first break as a solo artist came when a project he was working on was produced by keyboardist Reese Wynans ( Stevie Ray Vaughan ). The first version of Don Ray Band came in Austin as well and included former Asleep At The Wheel musicians Danny Levin on keyboards and Bill Mabry on fiddle.
Moving to Nashville at age 26 to pursue a songwriting career, he was soon a staff writer for Square One Publishing on Music Row. He started the second version of Don Ray Band with hit songwriters, Monty Holmes, Don Sampson and Curt Ryle. A few of the co-songwriter credits Don has are with hit songwriters Randy Travis, Monty Holmes, Curt Ryle, Kent Blazey and Buck Moore. Don has songs in the publishing catalogs of Square One, Universal Music, Sony/ATV, Warner Tamerlane, PeerMusic III, Minnetonka Music and Malaco Music. http://www.donrayband.com/home.html

''Enjoy Your Day'' What Kind of Man - Single: https://t.ly/n9HR
►Meet the band. When Zack Walther went to college to major in music, he had to choose an “instrument of study.” And—no accident—he chose his own voice. As a child of the 1980s he sang in the school choir and learned to play songs by ear on his brother’s upright piano, “But it was mainly the white keys,” he recalls. Then, as an afterthought, he adds, “It still is.” That piano may have been the first musical instrument he ever touched, but it certainly wasn’t the last.
By the time the ’90s rolled around, he was a teenager immersed in rock and roll and already a developing musician. That’s when he found his father’s old nylon-string classical guitar, long forgotten and stashed in the family attic. When he was 13, his folks, aware of his interest, bought him a basic electric guitar and a little Crate amp. Two years later, they surprised him on Christmas with his first quality acoustic guitar. “I played all through Christmas day,” he says. “Playing songs, learning songs, country songs, rock songs, just basic chords.” Still, he knew he was destined to be a vocalist—first and foremost. Lyrics: What kind of man, cowers and runs
when his whole world, just come undone
Must be a woman, just having some fun
What kind of man, says the ocean blue
Admits when it's wrong, to deny the true
Having a try?? She ain't got nothing on you
What kind of man, have I turned in to
I knew what I was doing, then you lit my fuel
Everything I wanted, now I got to have you
What kind of man, can't stand to be alone
Pines for love, when loves never gone
Oh woman, you shatter my heart to stone
What kind of man (what kind of man) (5x)
Oh woman, now I go to have you.

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album https://t.ly/xWF0 ''Blues Messenger''
►Ruben Bertrands. The album cover for 'Blues Messenger' was snapped in Cabanyal, Valencia by the talented Antonio Souto (check out his project 'phonomatonexpress'), a couple of minutes after I made some field recordings in the local church.
It took me a while, but during the mastering of this album I realised these field recordings are part of the story: they capture a moment in time, just like the picture. After all these years of hollering on street corners and terraces, I became the songs I was singing. When I look in the mirror, I see the wayfaring stranger.
The album was released exactly one year after my debut album ‘After Hours’, which were all originals. ‘Blues Messenger’ is a road trip through my formative years. Son House, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson: I made their music my own. These albums are completely different, but they belong to the same confession. Forgive me father, cause I have sinned…
Yours unfaithfully,
►Playing guitar on this track is called 'Jonas Bormans', Musician from the lovely city of Leuven, Belgium. Always on the lookout for interesting musical adventures.

►About, ''Blues Messenger'' is a road trip, from Mississippi to Chicago, with a sprinkle of New Orleans and a pitstop in the Appalachian Mountains. Imagine a dinner party with Son House, Dr. John & Muddy Waters, and a guest appearance by Johnny Cash - not for the faint of heart, but undeniably good for the soul.

Lyrics:
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
And the water gonna come in, have no place to stay
Well all last night I sat on the levee and moan
Well all last night I sat on the levee and moan
Thinkin' 'bout my baby and my happy home
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
And all these people have no place to stay
Now look here mama what am I to do
Now look here mama what am I to do
I ain't got nobody to tell my troubles to
I works on the levee mama both night and day
I works on the levee mama both night and day
I ain't got nobody, keep the water away
Oh cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do no good
Oh cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do no good
When the levee breaks, mama, you got to lose
I works on the levee, mama both night and day
I works on the levee, mama both night and day
I works so hard, to keep the water away
I had a woman, she wouldn't do for me
I had a woman, she wouldn't do for me
I'm goin' back to my used to be
I's a mean old levee, cause me to weep and moan
I's a mean old levee, cause me to weep and moan
Gonna leave my baby, and my happy home

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album ''Blues On Me'' http://www.snowywhite.com
Snowy White is one of a handful of classic blues-orientated British electric guitar players - musicians whose sound, technique and style has echoed the originality of the blues with the excitement of contemporary rock.
At the age of eleven he first heard the urban blues sound that had been emanating from the United States, people such as BB King, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush and Albert King, and was immediately aware that this was the music that he wanted to incorporate in his playing. He has developed his own style of ‘English ‘ blues, a combination of clear, clean blues phrases and harder-edged riffs that are a recognisable feature of his very personal songs.
Arriving in London in the early seventies with the classic ‘few pennies in his pocket’ he gradually made a name for himself among the local musicians and became respected as a tasteful player and an easy guy to get along with.
In 1974 he toured the east coast of America, getting as far south as New Orleans and discovering that he thoroughly enjoyed being ‘on the road’. He had by then become friendly with the now legendary English blues guitarist Peter Green and they spent a lot of time jamming together.
During the mid-seventies Snowy played on various sessions, developed his skills in the studio environment, and started writing his own material.
In the Autumn of 1976 he was invited to tour America and Europe with the Pink Floyd as their first augmenting musician, a gig which took up most of his time throughout 1977.
In 1978 the band’s keyboard player Rick Wright asked him to play guitar on his solo album, entitled 'Wet Dream,' which he recorded in the South of France.
In 1979 Peter Green decided to head for the studio once more and invited Snowy along to jam. The result was the album entitled ‘In the Skies’, now something of a collectors item.
He was then asked by the Pink Floyd to go to America to rehearse their new show entitled ‘The Wall’, and, at the same time, the rock band Thin Lizzy invited him to become a full-time member. So after the completion of the Floyds’ US dates he returned to England and went straight into the studio to record his first Thin Lizzy album 'Chinatown'. This album includes some songs co-written by Snowy, notably the title track. Two and a half years of world tours and recording with the band followed, including the making of Snowy’s second album with them, entitled ‘Renegade’. Snowy again co-wrote some of the songs and the title track. After this long period of work he decided that it was time to do his own thing and quit the band in 1982.
In the following twelve months he got together with musicians that he had known and admired for a long time - drummer/percussionist Richard Bailey, keyboard player Godfrey Wang, and his good friend for many years, bassist and producer Kuma Harada. Together they came up with Snowy’s first solo album, ‘White Flames.’ A single, the timeless ‘Bird of Paradise', written by Snowy, which was taken from the album, became an international hit.
However, the idea of becoming a ‘singles’ artiste, with the consequent concern about where the next hit record was coming from, did not appeal to him, and he took a break to rethink his musical direction. During that time he put together a gigging blues band, 'The Blues Agency', with drummer Jeff Allen, his old friend Kuma on bass, and, as he wanted to concentrate only on playing the guitar, singer and harp player Graham Bell. Between 1986 and 1989 the band played in the UK and Europe, and recorded two albums, ‘Change my Life’, followed by ‘Open for Business’ (which was released in Europe as ‘Blues on Me’.)
Kuma Harada - Bass, Rhythm Guitar
Jeff Allen - Drums, Percussion
Snowy White - Guitar
Graham Bell - Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica

They say
You’ll never make it out alive
No matter how hard you try
There'll come a time for you to resign
As usual
All I get is sleepless nights
Mama
You never wanted me to stay
But I know that we'll be okay
As long as you can keep the ghosts away
As usual
All I get is sleepless nights
Preacherman
Tell me what to do
She’s messing with my heart
I can’t fight the devil without you
As usual
All I get is sleepless nights
Hey Preacherman
Please tell me what to do
She’s messing with my heart
I can’t fight the devil without you
As usual
All I get is sleepless nights
They said
I’d never make it out alive
No matter how hard I try
Now it's time for me to resign
As usual
All I get is sleepless nights

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album ''Watching You '' https://t.ly/7tTg
Lyrics: Looking across the crowded room
Hoping you’ll turn my way
So many words in my head
But still don’t know what to say
Wish I could make you remember
All of the good times we had
It’s just antoher sad, sad story
With good love gone bad
Now every day will be just like the one before
But now every night you leave me wanting more
Watching you baby
You know it’s all that I can do
Watching you baby
Every night and every day
Watching you baby
There ain’t baby more to say
Cause every night I’m watching you
Watching you walk away
Now I’m looking down upon you baby
See the lights down below
I see you walking with another men
Why could you do that to me
Now I’m flying down to your bed
You’re gonna see my broken heart
And everybody’s gonna know that you’re the one
Who ripped it upon
Now every day we’ll be just like the one before
But now every night you’re gonna see mee
You’re gonna see me
Watching you baby
Every night in your dreams
Watching you baby
You’ll be forever watching me
Watching you baby
Now you just can’t walk away
Watching you baby
Well there ain’t nothing you can say
Now every day we’ll be just like the one before
But now every night you’re gonna see me
You’re gonna see me
Watching you baby
Every night in your dreams
Watching you baby
You’ll be forever watching me
Watching you baby
Now you just can’t walk away
Watching you baby
Oh there ain’t nothing

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album ''Go Big or Go Home'' https://t.ly/uGsT
Paul Mark & the Van Dorens powerful first CD, recorded in Memphis and produced by Grammy-winner Jim Gaines (Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Miller, Luther Allison). "Go Big or Go Home" includes 11 Paul Mark originals along with a killer rendition of Merle Travis' "Sixteen Tons". The CD that put the band on the map, it's a roots rock diamond in the rough and a rawcuss portent of things to come. Includes "The Drinks Are on Me", "Only Man in Leavenworth", and "What I Learned from You," some of the band's most requested numbers.
Lyrics: It's not that I've been hurt
And hardened to stone
I've just seen enough of this world
To know I'd rather live alone
Makes a man weary, all these turns in the road
I'd rather live alone than be left out in the cold
Doorbell rings and I don't answer
My telephone's off the hook
I spend my evenings indoors
With records, TV and books
Makes a man evil, all these turns in the road
I’d rather live alone than be left out in the cold
The years go passing by
Like so many days of the week
I see an old familiar story
On every face I see
Makes a man crazy, all these turns in the road
I'd rather live alone than be left out in the cold

His recorded output spans several decades, embracing the roots spectrum with a relentlessly original take on blues, rock, soul, country, surf, cabaret, R’nB, and old-timey sounds.
Mark is best known for his unique songwriting, his roadhouse-ruff vocal delivery and for the raucous barroom sounds of his urban blues/roots rock ensemble, The Van Dorens. His originals such as When God Finds the Time, Fritos, BBQ and Scotch, I’m Going Blind, One More Coat of Paint, How Do the Blind Become So Famous?, and The Drinks are On Me take on traditional genres and weave them into contemporary, vital music. Mark praises his collaborative musical family, the Van Dorens, a revolving-door collective of dedicated musicians and engineering contributors. He’s said that the family name was sourced from the schlock exploitation flick High School Confidential. Over several decades he’s performed a thousand-plus of sets of live music at clubs and festivals with his band.
Mark has written and recorded hundreds of commercially-released songs (see the Lyrics page). Before setting up his own studio in New York City he cut albums at numerous world-class facilities including Ardent Studios (Memphis), Compass Point Studios (The Bahamas), The Music Shed (New Orleans) and Dockside Studios (Maurice, Louisiana). Most frequent among his session collaborators is the Grammy-winning Memphis producer/engineer Jeff Powell, who to date has collaborated on seven For More: paulmark.com

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album Flame Still Burns shaunmurphyband.com
The 10th CD release, Flame Still Burns, came during the middle of the COVID 19 Pandemic. Can you say; ‘Murphy’s Law’?? We knew we had to make a stand for the positive!!!
I’d been asked over the years if I would try an ‘all-covers album, I thought long and hard about it and felt that it had finally come to the right time and place for it. So, my manager, TC Davis, and I sat down with dozens of contenders, and over some weeks, whittled it down to a ‘do-able’ size of 14 cuts.
Also, during this time, I received a nomination for a BMA award, in the Contemporary Blues Female Artist category, and am honored to be asked to do a streaming vid on the June, 6th broadcast show!
We’ve been sequestered and afraid for a long time, but we must keep going, and being positive is one way to survive all this. Please stay safe and well out there, till I see all of you again!!! I have high hopes it’ll turn around soon….
The boys in my band are amazing, as always; Tom DelRossi, John Marcus, Kenne Cramer, Tommy Stillwell, Eric Robert, and Kevin McKendree, Love you guys, thank you for always being there!!!!!
Shaun Murphy and Eric Clapton
My good friend and former bandmate Marcy Levy (Marcella Detroit) called me to say that Clapton was looking for another strong voice to do his new album, Behind The Sun, and she thought of me right away. I got spirited away to the island of Montserrat where Eric was recording with producer Phil Collins, at George Martin’s (best known for his work with the Beatles and many other artists) studio. After the first song, Eric asked us if we’d go on tour to support the new album. I was thrilled, EC has always been one of my favorite artists. Along with Chris Stainton, the incredible Duck Dunn, Jamie Oldaker, Tim Renwich, Marcy and myself……what a great group of folks, what fantastic times!
Lyrics: I can feel your body
When I'm lying in bed
There's too much confusion
Going around through my head
And it makes me so angry
To know that the flame still burns
Why can't I get over?
When will I ever learn?
Old love, leave me alone
Old love, go on home
I can see your face
But I know that it's not real
It's just an illusion
Caused by how I used to feel
And it makes me so angry
To know that the flame will always burn
I'll never get over
I know now that I'll never learn
Old love, leave me alone
Old love, go on home

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album Across the Board. Dennis Siggery. In 2016, I formed this new line-up pf the Eric Street Band with Gordon Vaughan, Henry Smithson and Adam J Perry, with a view to doing more live work. After a few gigs, Gordon and I started writing songs together which ended up as the 'Purple Passage' album - recorded and released in late 2016. More live dates followed, including the 2017 Wokingham Festival. Then in 2018 Gordon and I started writing the material for 'Eye Of The Storm' which we recorded in Nov 2018 and finished off in Feb 2019. The album was released in April and is available right here!
This band is some of the best musicians I've ever worked with! Gordon is without doubt one of the finest guitarists in south of England - just check out his playing on the albums. The writing partnership we have means that the songs develop with a mixture of varying styles, but remaining true to the blues-rock genre. The solid and creative rhythm section of Henry and Adam - both highly skilled and experienced players - allows us to stretch out in the studio and lay down the backing tracks as a band - live! We're getting the feel and the vibe off each other, and I think this gives the songs on these two albums a slightly harder edge and more excitement than on the previous albums. Meet the band... ericstreetband.com

Lyrics: Woke up this morning, and she's not there
Why is my life running so unfair
Why did she leave me, she never said goodbye
You never gave me a chance
You never told me why
Baby please come home
I said baby, let's try again, I wanna try again
I look at the table, it's been set for two
I sit by myself and I am talking to you
It's all in my mind, I'm sitting next to you
What can I do, to make my dream come true
I said Baby please come home
I said baby, let's try again,
I said Baby please want you please come home
I said baby, let's try again,
So am I crying, don't pass it by
You never gave me a chance to kiss you goodbye
You didn't gave me a chance, or any reason why
So what can I do, but break down and cry
break down and cry
It's Saturday night and I'm all alone
Sitting in my flat, hoping you phone
I can't go out afraid I miss your call
But it never comes, you never phone at all
I'm begging you baby, please come home
I said baby, let's try again
I'm begging you baby, want you please come home
I said baby, let's try again, lets try again.

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album Wildlife music.apple.com/us/album/wildlife/1484836888
WILDMEN BLUESBAND For years now, Wildmen Bluesband has been working on their way in the Dutch blues scene in a passionate manner. Their repertoire, with many own compositions and a cover now and then, clearly indicates this is not a standard bluesband. The way Wildmen Bluesband give their music their own twist, shows great creativity of these five musicians. Just that one extra chord, minor note here, seventh note there, makes Wildmen Bluesband an absolutely unique band within the Dutch blues scene. During the performances of Wildmen Bluesband, the audience gets a musical spectacle that is unparalleled. With Saskia's clear, flawless voice with a volume that amazes you, she guides her men and certainly the audience through a blistering blues afternoon and/or evening. Together with topguitarist Jos, she is the eye-catcher of the band. With on the other side keyboard magician Ruud and behind her 'Ginger Baker' Rob on drums and 'masterpicker' Mark on bass guitar, the band goes wild in no uncertain way. With unbridled energy and enthusiasm, the audience is torpedoed, as it were, with all kinds of musical and vocal blues forms. That is an art in itself and also the power that Wildmen Bluesband radiates on stage. Because make no mistake, it is not just 5 musicians making music. They are an exceptionally well attuned, tight unit that carries out their mission with full, visible emotion. As for the repertoire......... Just go like hell to a Wildmen Bluesband gig to experience what this band does to you. https://www.wildmenbluesband.nl/
Lyrics: I see a crying baby
And I know and then
I'm the one to blame
I see a crying baby
And I know and then
I'm the one to blame
I wasn't careful with your heart
And that's A Low Down Dirty Shame
Yes so sweet and loving
And you do
The best then to can
Yes so sweet and loving
And you do
The best then to can
Please understand i love you
To the sun and back again
My loveless forever
uh Low Deep down in my soul
My loveless forever
uh Low Deep down in my soul
I just wanna see you happy
With love they won't grow old
I see a crying baby, and I know
I'm the one to blame
I see a crying baby
And I know that I'm the one to blame
I wasn't careful with your heart
Hot and that's
Low Down Dirty Shame

''Enjoy Your Day'' Album Don't Add Up https://t.ly/WasP
Lyrics: Don't tell me that you love me, its a lie
Don't tell me that you trust me, you'd have to redefine
What you call love and trust , just aint enough all the time
Boy you better think about me and all your questions babe cause they don't add up all the time
Don't tell me that you'll hold me, Its not true
Don't lift another finger, I'd have to reconstrue
What you call love and trust, just aint enough so I'm through
You better think about your presentation babe, that's all you got to do
There was a time you left the key in the hole of my heart
And you tried turning it turning it and turning around and you realized it broke inside
Man you better upgrade your integrity cause it don't add up
You better think about all your promises cause they don't add up
You better think about your accusations cause they don't add up
You better think about all your nonsense cause it don't add up
Man you better upgrade your integrity cause it don't add up
You better think about all your promises cause they don't add up
You better think about your accusations cause they don't add up
You better think about all your nonsense cause it don't add up
All the time

Lyrics:I I can't find it in my heart
to lose another fight
For the way of the world
In the palm of my hand
revered soul has the price to pay
No matter what the plan
Fools to the left of me
and heartache to the right
I can't find it in my heart
to lose another fight
Be careful what you wish for
Be careful what you say
Life comes back to haunt you
Till your dying day
oh fools to the left of me
and heartache to the right
I find that bed and a bottle
to survive another night
It would not have last, no doubt
And I left my dignity
like the tears in the prone
Oh and find me a bed and a bottle
I can't find it in my heart
Oh no no no.....
Oh Lord please help me, help me
oh please ..... oh....... oh
It would not have last, no doubt?
And I left my dignity
Put my tears, all my tears in the prone
And find me a bed and a bottle

Lyrics;
It's sad kind of love,
When I make love to you.
It's sad kind of love,
Baby what can I do.
It's a sad kind of love,
Breaking my heart in two.
It's a bad kind of love,
(Sad kind of love)
When your living in a lie.
Baby, it's a mad kind of love,
(Sad kind of love)
I cant even deny.
And it's a sad kind of love,
Make me break down and cry.
(Sad kind of love)
Make me break down and cry.
[guitar solo]
Yea, it's a mad kind of love,
(Sad kind of love)
I can't look you in the eye.
(Sad kind of love)
Baby, Baby, Baby It's a bad kind of love,
(Sad kind of love)
Make me break down and cry.
(Sad kind of love)
And it's a sad kind of love
Because it feels,
Because it feels,
Because it feels like a part of me is dying
(Sad kind of love)
Sad kind of love.

Lyrics: I give you all my cash
and all my credit cards
how can you be so quick
You're breaking my whole heart
I let you drive me crazy
While I'm still at your command
You know I paid my dues, you got me
Shakin with the Blues
I still let you treat me bad
All my nights are filled with pain
Spending way too much time with you
Nothing feel the same
But now I can't do, cause this is
And she's looking so fine
I got nothing to loose, I'm alone
Shakin with the Blues
Call little sister on the phone
She tells me that she wants a real man
She's coming over to my house now baby
We'll throw down a one night stand
I give her all my cash
and all my credit cards
nothing, nothing changed at all
Woman's breaking my heart, she's driving me crazy man
Now I'm at her command
It don't matter I paid my dues, evil woman got me
Shaking with the blues
Got me shaking with the blues.......
Shaking with the blues
Singer-songwriter, guitarist Scott Ellison emerged as a blues-rock powerhouse in his hometown of Tulsa, OK in the late 1970's. With Eric Clapton's and Freddie King's backing bands at the time both hailing from the region, Ellison's guitar shredding heavy blues style quickly brought him regional and then national attention. He first gained notice playing with Jessica James (Conway Twitty's daughter) in 1977, and national blues audiences learned about him via his work in iconic bluesman Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown's touring band in 1980-81.
He relocated to Los Angeles, CA in the mid-'80s, and honed his chops as a session player for everyone from The Box Tops to Gary "US" Bonds to Peaches & Herb. By the early '90s he finally took the helm as a leader, formed his own band, and opened for the likes of Joe Cocker, Roy Orbison, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Leon Russell, Bobby Bland and Buddy Guy. Solo albums soon followed, beginning with Chains of Love in 1993 and Live at Joey’s in '95. He returned to Tulsa in '96 and released Steamin’ the following year and One Step From the Blues in 2000. He signed with Burnside in 2001 and released Cold Hard Cash, which was produced and co-written by longtime Robert Cray producer Dennis Walker. That album, along with the 2003 follow-up Bad Case of the Blues were highly successful and marked the beginning of a watershed moment for Ellison that resulted in headlining slots at blues festivals across the US, Canada and Europe along with multiple European tours.
2008’s Ice Storm yielded his first #1 on the Blues charts with "Cadillac Woman,” and led to opening for and playing onstage with BB King at the Performing Arts Center in Tulsa in 2009.
Walkin’ Through The Fire was released on his own label, JSE Records, in 2011, paving the way for his 2013 induction into the Oklahoma Blues Hall of Fame. He signed with Red Parlor Records in 2015 for the release of Elevator Man (produced by longtime Eric Clapton keyboard player Walt Richmond), Good Morning Midnight (2017), and the critically acclaimed Skyline Drive (2020).
Beyond the traditional blues world, Ellison has also penned songs that have appeared in films such as Reindeer Games, Feast of Love and Home Front, as well in TV shows Sister Sister, Santa Barbara, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Joan of Arcadia, Saving Grace, scottellisonband.com
RICHMOND, WALT
Keyboardist Walt Richmond is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He began playing piano in his mid-teens. A gifted lead guitarist and singer-songwriter, Anderson grew up in Sarasota sharing local stages with Dickey Betts and other members of the Allman Brothers Band before joining Grinderswitch. In the mid-1980s, Anderson became a member of the Outlaws, spending years elating crowds while leading the guitar attack on such classic rock staples as their epic jam “Green Grass and High Tides,” as well as playing in the country music group Blackhawk featuring members of the Outlaws.
RattleBone features another musician with an impressive Southern rock resume, Johnny Neel, the keyboardist and singer who joined the Dickey Betts Band and then Allman Brothers for their highly successful “Seven Turns” comeback album and tour in the early ’90s. Like Anderson, Neel lives in Nashville and the two often do session work for records by other musicians.
Lyrics: There was a time
when I thought
I had it made,
had a fine, fine woman
who loved me every day.
Rumors started flying,
people saying I've done you wrong,
don't you know they've been lying
cause my love is so strong
but you know
I'm innocent of the crime
I've been accused.
I'm innocent
I've got nothing left to prove,
I've faced the judge and the jury
and I swear I'll tell the truth,
if I'm guilty of anything,
I'm guilty of loving you.
I trust in you and
I thought that you trusted me.
It never crossed
my mind that you would ever, ever leave
and even after all this time
it's so hard to understand
why you think
I've wronged you and now
your with some other man.
I'm innocent of the crime
I'm being accused.
I'm innocent, I've got nothing left to prove,
I faced the judge and jury
and I swear I'll tell the truth
if I'm guilty of anything
I'm guilty of loving you.
I am innocent of the crime
I've been accused.
I'm innocent
I've got nothing left to prove.
I've faced the judge and jury
and I swear I'll tell the truth,
if I'm guilty of anything
I'm guilty of loving you,
it must be because
I'm innocent.
You know deep down in your heart
that it's true, that it's true you know
I'm innocent.

Lyrics: Thought I heard you knocking
Knocking on my door
But it's just my imagination
Cause you don't come here no more
Dreamt that we were together
Walking hand in hand
But then you walked away
With another man
Don't you know that I miss you
I miss you all the time
Cause the love that we had
Is so hard to find
Thought I heard you knocking
Knocking on my door
Just my imagination
You don't come here no more
But it's just my imagination
Cause you don't come here no more

Lyrics Call my name
Call my name and let me start again
I was wrong
I did you wrong and now I cry in vain
I feel so lonely
As lonely as can be
Under a shadow
Searching for the light I need
Won’t you call my name?
And rescue me
Say the word
Say the word and I’ll come running back
Take a chance
Just one more chance
And I’ll repair the cracks
I’m feeling broken
I’ve broken all the rules
But I’ll be working
Working hard to change this mood
Won’t you call my name?
Get the message through
Call my name
Just call my name and we can try again
I’m so cold
I feel so cold from walking in the rain
It’s getting harder
Harder every day
I’m feeling restless
So come and take these blues away
Won’t you call my name?
Call my name

Lyrics: I been thinking about you woman
I can't get you off of my mind
I been thinking about you woman
I can't get you off of my mind
Even though you treated me so bad
Keep thinking about you all the time
All the time we spent together
I thought we'd really build a happy home
All the time we spent together
I thought we'd really build a happy home
I was gone less than forty days
When I got back you were gone
And left me all alone
I spent four days and four lonely nights
Lying in a hospital bed
But you never even called me
To see if I was alive or dead
I been thinking about you woman
Just can't get you off my mind
Even though you treated me so bad
I been thinking about you woman
I been thinking about you for way too long
I been thinking about you woman
I been thinking about you way too long
You know I'll never understand
Why you had to go and do me wrong

Lyrics: Have you ever loved a woman
So much you tremble in pain?
Yee-es!
Have you ever loved a woman
So much you tremble in pain?
Yee-es!
All the time you know
She bears another man's name
You just love that woman
So much it's a shame and a sin
Yee-es!
You just love that woman
So much it's a shame and a sin
Yes, you know, yes you know
She belongs to your very best friend
And yee-es!
Have you ever loved a woman
One that you know you can't leave her alone?
And yee-es!
Have you ever loved a woman (sing!)
One you know you can't leave her alone?
A- yee-es!
But there's something deep inside a-you
Won't let you wreck yo best friend's home
Yea-ay-ay-ay
"Have You Ever Loved a Woman" is a blues song written by Billy Myles and first recorded by American blues artist Freddie King in 1960. The song is performed as a slow 12-bar blues with King's vocal and guitar accompanied by a small combo of pianist Sonny Thompson, bassist Bill Willis, and drummer Phillip Paul.
When the song was released as a single by Federal Records in 1961, only the B-side, "You've Got to Love Her with a Feeling", reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was included on King's first album, Freddy King Sings, also issued by Federal in 1961.
"Have You Ever Loved a Woman" later became a part of English guitarist-singer Eric Clapton's repertoire, with several recorded versions. The first was a live rendition in 1965 while he was a member of John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers (Primal Solos, released 1977); then a studio version with Derek and the Dominos (Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, 1970); and later live recordings on In Concert (1970, released 1973); E. C. Was Here (1975), Just One Night (as a medley with "Ramblin' on My Mind", 1980), 24 Nights (1991), Live in Hyde Park (1997), One More Car, One More Rider (2002), and Crossroads Guitar Festival 2004

Lyrics: Sitting right down there by my window
And i was looking out at the rain
Sitting right down there by my window baby
And i was looking out at the rain
And something came along grabbed a hold of me
Poor baby, felt just like
Just like a ball and chain
And i said, wow
I hope, why does it bring
All this pain and misery to me
I wan't i know, i said wow, baby
Why does it bring all
This pain and misery to me
When i know my love for you will last
Forever you i'm gonna love for all eternity
Yeah, i said wow, baby
Why, why does it bring all
this pain and misery to me
I said wow, Wow oh baby
Why does it bring, this pain and misery to me
Yes and i know my love for you will last forever
So why why does it feel
Just like a ball just like chain
Wow, yes like ball a chain

They call it stormy Monday
But Tuesday's just as bad
They call it stormy Monday
But Tuesday's just as bad
Lord, and Wednesday's worse
And Thursday's all so bad
The eagle flies on Friday
Saturday I go out to play
The eagle flies on Friday
Saturday I go out to play
Sunday I go to church, yeah
Gonna kneel down and pray
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy on me
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy on me
Though I'm tryin' and tryin' to find my baby
Won't somebody please send 'er home
Oh ho
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy on me
Yeah, I'm proud, Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy on me
Though I'm tryin', tryin' to find my baby
Lord have mercy, my heart's in misery
Won't send 'er home, send her back to me
"Call It Stormy Monday (But Tuesday Is Just as Bad)" (commonly referred to as "Stormy Monday") is a song written and recorded by American blues electric guitar pioneer T-Bone Walker. It is a slow twelve-bar blues performed in the West Coast blues-style that features Walker's smooth, plaintive vocal and distinctive guitar work. As well as becoming a record chart hit in 1948, it inspired B.B. King and others to take up the electric guitar. "Stormy Monday" became Walker's best-known and most-recorded song.
In 1961, Bobby "Blue" Bland further popularized the song with an appearance in the pop record charts. Bland introduced a new arrangement with chord substitutions, which was later used in many subsequent renditions. His version also incorrectly used the title "Stormy Monday Blues", which was copied and resulted in royalties being paid to songwriters other than Walker. The Allman Brothers Band recorded an extended version for their first live album in 1971, with additional changes to the arrangement. Through the album's popularity and the group's concert performances, they brought "Stormy Monday" to the attention of rock audiences. Similarly, Latimore's 1973 hit recording made it popular with a later R&B audience.
"Stormy Monday" is one of the most popular blues standards, with numerous renditions. As well as being necessary for blues musicians, it is also found in the repertoires of many jazz, soul, pop, and rock performers. The song is included in the Grammy, Rock and Roll, and Blues Foundation halls of fame as well as the U.S. Library of Congress' National Recording Registry.

The Gold Souls are bringing the driving grooves of funk, the rich textures of soul, and the compelling storytelling of the blues to the Northern California scene and beyond. Drawing from a wide range of influences and experiences, they deliver captivating lyrics and fresh arrangements over a vintage sound. Led by the dynamic Juniper Waller, the group is made up of young talent hailing from the Bay and Sacramento areas. With Darius Upshaw on guitar, Alex Severson on the keys, Billy D. Thompson on the drums, and Avery Jeffry on bass, each member has a hand in writing and song composition, making The Gold Souls a truly collaborative effort. The Gold Souls burst on the Sacramento music scene in early 2017, and are swiftly becoming one of the most promising new talents in the area.
They released their self-titled five song EP in May of 2017, and toured down the California coast soon after in support of the fresh blues, soul-funk EP. Their next single, “Nobody,” was released in late 2017 and was featured on Apple Music Blues’ Hot Tracks list. They released their first full length album “Good to Feel” in June of 2018, an album that stuck to their core oath to never sacrifice the groove.
Their next single, “True Blue” was produced/engineered by multi-Grammy winner Timothy Bloom (Smokey Robinson) and was released in February of 2019. That April, the band went on tour through southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and New Orleans.
2020 hardly slowed the Souls down, as they spent the year working on their forthcoming second album and live-streaming many concerts to their fans as they sheltered in place. They released their latest single, “Got It” in May of 2020 which promoted a message of community empowerment and unity. The single was accompanied by a collaborative music video with animation from artists all around the world. The Gold Souls rang in 2021 with a live-streamed NYE show at The Center for the Arts in Grass Valley, CA.
The Gold Souls’ new album Downtown Sound came out October 29 2021 to rave reviews. 2022 and beyond look promising for the band, as they get back to their busy schedule of traveling around Northern California and rocking stages for the live music-starved masses.

About, Bruce Marshall took up guitar in 1966 at age 12 when his father gave him his ¾ Kay acoustic. He grew up in a musical household, both parents and the 4 Marshall children were always singing, playing guitar and piano and their parents taught them vocal harmony at a young age. Like many of his peers, seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan was a watershed moment and Bruce absorbed the sounds from that era, especially vocal groups like The Rascals, Beach Boys, Everly Brothers and Buffalo Springfield. When he discovered the likes of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, BB King and Muddy Waters, Marshall developed a love of soul music and the blues.
He turned to music full time about a year out of High School with Whitecap, his first professional band. The Sudbury MA native honed his craft in juke joints and gin mills for 7 very formative years and about this time started writing his own music. In the early 80’s Bruce Marshall and the Clue emerged, a five piece band assembled around a batch of original songs Bruce had written that touched on his love of R and B, Blues and Pop. The band developed a loyal following in NE and hit the road non-stop for most of the decade while headlining the top venues in greater Boston and beyond. The Clue put out a vinyl EP “Prove It” on ATM Records in ’87, appeared on numerous compilation albums including “Boston Does the Beatles” and shared the stage with James Brown, Gregg Allman, Todd Rundgren, The Beach Boys, Kenny Loggins, Orleans and Hot Tuna, among others.
By 1989 Bruce had accepted an invitation to join the Toy Caldwell Band. Toy was the founder, lead guitarist and primary songwriter for the Marshall Tucker Band, one of the top groups in the country in the 70’s. Caldwell started the Toy Caldwell Band shortly after leaving Marshall Tucker in ’84 and 5 years later hired Bruce Marshall to sing lead, play keyboards and guitar. The band toured with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels and The Outlaws when they weren’t headlining their own shows and festivals. During this time the band recorded a Bruce Marshall original “Welcome to the Human Race” with platinum producer Paul Hornsby and it appeared on Marshall’s 2nd release in ’92.
The next studio release was 2010’s “Misspent Youth” for more :brucemarshall.com/home
Lyrics: You know i'd never hurt you, babe
I'd never steer you wrong
I would never jeopardize or compromise the love
That keeps us strong
And i know this life can get a little crazy
I know this week that you seem sad
I know sometimes i'm a stubborn man
I'd never treat you better
With my conscience is my witness, baby
This i swear to you
From right now. Until forever
Will be steadfast and true
With my conscience as my witness baby
I will stand by you
From now to the end of time
We both got a second chance
We were way too young the first time
But the second time's the chime baby
I knew it when i saw those sea blue eyes
But sometimes i may have to travel
I know sometimes you'll be gone
But there's nothing or no one that could come between us baby
Could ever do us harm
With my conscience as my witness baby
This i swear to you
From right now. Until forever
We'll be steadfast and true
With my conscience is my witness baby
I will stand by you from now to the end of time, ah
when you find that special somebody
Join the ranks of the lucky few
That's something you can't take for granted
But it's been so long overdue
I hope you got no regrets maybe
And you believe me when i say
With my conscience it's my witness baby
This i swear to you
Will be steadfast and true
With my conscience as my witness baby
I will stand by you
From now to the end of time
i will stand by you
With my conscience is my witness babe
With my conscience is my witness baby
With my conscience as my witness pain
I will stand by you
From now to the end of time,oh
