The PMA is hooked up to a 3 phase bridge rectifier (converts 3 phase AC to DC) and the DC output is connected to a 60 Watt (12 Volts, 5 amps.) halogen light bulb. The video speaks for itself. You can tell from the video that the rpm's of the PMA are not that high and it is still able to crank out 60 Watts with no problem. Imagine what this thing can do with a 15 mph wind and 30 inch blades. This is a great and affordable wind generator PMA. 500 Watt Wind Generator, Permanent Magent Alternator (PMA) vs. Ametek Wind Turbine WindyNation 2009-05-18 | http://www.windynation.com | This is a very short video of our 500 Watt PMA being hand spun at about 115 rpm. The PMA's electrical output is hooked up to a 38 Volt Ametek. This was to done to show just how much voltage this PMA can make at low rpm's. Additionally, one can see that our PMA is not much bigger than an Ametek motor but our PMA can put out a lot more electricity. There is a voltmeter hooked-up to the PMA output so you can see how much electricity the Ametek is receiving. Remember, the PMA is only at ~115 rpm! The Ametek is doing about 3-4 times as many rpm's.
