This remix is very different from what I normally do. I think it's really important to try new styles and to challenge yourself. It's the only way that I'm going to get any better at what I do. With that in mind, I realize that this is not my best work. It's far from it. I'm not entirely proud of what I'm uploading but I thought that I should show you all what I've been working on and show the growth that I'm trying to make here. For this remix, I used FL Studio for the first time. It was very challenging for me. The program has an incredibly steep learning curve and I can't say that I'm much of a fan of how FL Studio works in general. It might just be that I don't know enough about the program, but there were definitely some things that significantly irked me while making this remix. I felt as though FL Studio does not encourage creativity. I understand how loops are a way to make a piece cohesive and I understand the importance of motifs, but I don't like the fact that patterns are so restrictive. I want to be able to modify themes and change instruments in one instance without having to go through the hassle of creating a whole new pattern just for this one time. I was very frustrated with the effects programming and found that it was not very intuitive for me either. Overall, I did not have the best of time working with FL Studio. I might give it a go another day, but for now, I don't think I'll be switching over anytime soon. But as always, thanks for listening, and I hope you enjoyed it. —Sent

With this, I tried to emulate a cathedral, sacrificing clarity for atmosphere. I also took this theme in a more untraditional route and tried to soften it and make it more ambient and added a little Bach for you classical music fans!
