GOOD SOUP #01 - super easy chicken broth and egg noodle soup to satisfy your pho cravings unplantinthewild 2023-02-03 | Whenever I go to vietnamese restaurants and I ask for fish balls in replacement of meat, they always look at me like I'm bonkers ๐ So I started making my own version of pho that would satisfy these cravings, and I could add anything I wanted without the judgemental looks haha. PLEASE NOTE this is NOTHING like an actual pho recipe, which is insanely complex and rich in so many other flavours than chicken bouillon, but, this soup does make the cravings go away which was the goal when I whipped this up for the first time. cooking pasta with @youdontevengrowhere and finally cleaning my stove ๐ฅต unplantinthewild 2023-01-23 | If there was ever a pasta that I think we can all collectively agree is freakin delicious, I think this is the one. We attempted to recreate the spaghetti portofino from Cactus Club and wow- this one is going to be a staple on my menu now. I also did a quick clean of my stove since it was looking dusty and crusty, but hopefully once the weather warms up I can do some real degreasing outside. Hope everyone has a great week!!And if you're into plants, please follow my best pal at @youdontevengrowhere !!---very guesstimated recipe:Ingredients:- Spaghetti noodles- Shrimp (deveined and shelled)- Panko bread crumbs- Corn- Salted butter- Minced garlic- Chicken bouillon powder or chicken stockHow to make it:1. Cook spaghetti noodles in salted water for about 6-8 minutes (for al dente texture)2. Cut shrimp in half and set aside3. Add butter to a heated pan4. Add panko bread crumbs to pan and coat completely with butter. Cook until the crumbs become golden brown then set aside.5. Heat olive oil in the same pan, then add minced garlic. Cook until the turn a light golden brown.6. Add shrimp to pan and cook until they become pink.7. In a small bowl, add about a half cup of pasta water with 2 tbsp of chicken bouillon then add to pan with shrimp8. Add corn to pan with more butter9. To increase the amount of sauce, continue to add more pasta water and butter to taste10. Add salt and pepper, then continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.11.
