I decided to see if I could survive the Nürburgring Sordschleife in this 1,851HP Bugatti Swapped Chiron. I'm sure you've seen videos of those crazy twin turbo Vipers that can reach up to, and over 1,800hp on youtube. Thrustmasters New Direct Drive Technology is Kind of a Big Deal... T598 Review Rowdy 2024-10-24 | A while back, Thrustmaster reached out to me asking if I would like to review their brand new budget friendly direct drive bundle for Playstation & PC, the T598. Of course I accepted, and they followed through. With this bundle, Thrustmaster just gave Fanatec a huge problem. At $500 for a 5nm constant 10nm peak torque direct axial drive wheelbase, wheel rim, and 2 adjustable pedals, this officially makes the T598 the most affordable direct drive option for PlayStation 4 and 5. The most notable part about this kit is the wheelbase. It is using a different type of motor called an axial flux motor. Traditional direct drive wheelbases uses radial flux. With axial flux, compared to radial flux, you get better peak torque, more accurate feedback, higher frequency vibrations, zero cogging and significantly less parasitic loss. All while using less materials to manufacture, most notably a significant reduction in the use of copper, which allows the manufacturing costs to be much lower, therefore making the price much lower as well. Gran Turismos Most Iconic Feature is Outdated Rowdy 2024-06-11 | Gran Turismo's license test system is outdated. Too many games in modern times require lots of third party information to master certain skills, strategies, or even get new players on their feet in some cases. In my view, Gran Turismo suffers from the lack of fundamental driving education in the game. Sure, license tests are a good way to train, but for brand new players it tends to leave them needing way more info than given. There's a way for Gran Turismo to become the absolute best source for new drivers without the need for third parties like YouTube and forums. This is what I came up with.
