Amnesia: TDD - Any% Glitchless Speedrun in 37:53.52 GT 39:18 RT Teravortryx 2017-09-11 | Aside from only a couple of maps, this is a very clean run that I'm pretty happy with. This run contains all of the up-to-date strats with contributions from Nosferatu, Citrus, and myself. This was recorded on September 9, 2017.UPDATE: This run has been removed from the leaderboard because I vertically boosted in Entrance Hall 1. This was following a long discussion of the glitchless rules which led to a change in the leaderboards.
SOMA: Curie Outside Segmented Route Teravortryx 2024-08-04 | I was going through my videos from 2015 when I realized I never timed this route properly. I think it's a couple seconds faster than the regular route, with potential for better boosts and timesaves along the way.
Amnesia: TDD - Half-Life Segmented Speedrun Draft/Plan in 11m 41s (Commentary) Teravortryx 2024-08-04 | This is partial work for a project I've tried to start twice now, once in 2020 and once in 2023. I've put in over 300 hours, and unfortunately so far all I have to show is a draft/plan run that isn't even a valid run, because long story short: I made a rookie mistake and left Old Archives without getting my full movespeed, so I'm disadvantaged. I only realized this after Storage, so I just modded my save file to give me back full movespeed and rushed the rest of the segments to make this draft run.If the project never gets finished, at least I have this draft run to show! Please let me know any route improvements you know or find.Some things I found after making this video are:In Prison North, I can clip through the pile of rocks instead of moving them to the side. And after going OoB, I can clip back inbounds into the corner of the final chamber with the level door.And in Sewers, I can clip OoB immediately to the right through the corner.
Amnesia: Justine - Crypt Script Skip Decrypted Teravortryx 2023-05-01 | Years ago people noticed that sometimes the slowdown in crypt doesn't happen. Turns out, this was caused by quickloading, and is impossible to happen in an actual run.
Amnesia: Rebirth - Commentated Segmented Draft Speedrun Teravortryx 2021-10-20 | After 9 months of work, Cakeri and I have "completed" our Amnesia: Rebirth segmented speedrun to be released on the game's 1 year birthday! It was a blast for us both to work on such a large team project and end up with a final product.But not so fast. This was meant to be just a draft of the run followed by a "good copy" which we cancelled, and called the draft the final product. It's not a valid run, as Dark World was spliced and textures were loaded in. Expect to see a segmented run using state-of-the-art strats (some of which have been kept secret for most of a year!), lossless 1440p recording quality (which YouTube happily butchered anyway), and action-packed commentary. Amnesia: Rebirth - Speedrun Blooper Compilation Teravortryx 2020-11-19 | I had a lot of fun and interesting moments in my attempts so far. I learn something new each run it seems. Have you made any of these same mistakes?
Amnesia: Rebirth - Any% Speedrun PB in 43:00 Teravortryx 2020-11-19 | Very good run. My biggest timeloss was from taking 16 seconds to clip in Tower, but realistically that clip takes 10 seconds on average anyway. The timelosses in other maps are 5 seconds or less. I don't mind not getting sub 43 because having 43:00 flat is pretty cool!
Amnesia: Rebirth - Any% Speedrun in 43:21 Teravortryx 2020-11-18 | Decent run. It's nice being able to follow a really good run, at least at the start. The recording was pretty scuffed because the game would randomly freeze on basically every level. First time having this issue. I'm not mad because it makes the video more entertaining for you to hope the freeze happens at a bad time for me, and it gives me free timesaves sprinkled across my next PB.37:50 - Lower Factory route that sprints the whole time. Using this, I can also just gain as much height as possible without worrying about gaining too much height, which was only possible using the walking method used before.
Amnesia: Rebirth - Oasis End Micro-Optimization Teravortryx 2020-11-16 | Depending on whether you can get the clip instantly, this may or may not be worth it for non-segmented.

Amnesia: Rebirth - Alchemists Lab Glitchless Sequence Break Teravortryx 2020-11-11 | UPDATE: This strat is obsolete. A MUCH faster and easier strat is to glitch out the pylons: youtu.be/H2jF5fpgsbU?t=3246You're able to leave Alchemist's Lab with two Leyden Jars you're not supposed to have, all while not glitching in the process. This is clearly unintentional. Should we ban it in NMG? My opinion is that we should add a third restriction to ban that sequence break since so many maps are skipped, and I'd like to see those maps in at least one category.
Amnesia: Rebirth - Oasis Tutorial Teravortryx 2020-11-10 | Full route tutorial of Oasis. Skip the stumble trigger, climb up the rocks, run across the desert, and get a super boost.

Amnesia: Rebirth - Factory C Cage Escape Comparison Teravortryx 2020-10-26 | A comparison of three optimized routes. The conclusion from the timing is that getting out at the first elevator is 36 seconds faster than getting out at the second, and getting out at the second is 1:39 faster than not getting out at all. Getting out at the first is 2:15 faster than not getting out at all. These are optimized routes and are the best possible scenario, so YMMV.

Amnesia: Justine - End Dialogue Skip Teravortryx 2020-05-01 | There's a big dialogue trigger at the start of the stairs marking the end of the speedrun. But you can skip this trigger and still hit the credits! This lets you beat the game without finishing a speedrun.UPDATE: The ruling for this game has changed such that the dialogue no longer stops the run. Hitting the trigger at the top of the stairs is what ends the timer now!

Amnesia: TDD - Cistern Flying Quitouts/Segmented Route Teravortryx 2020-04-12 | Had some fun with a reload glitch in Cistern. This route isn't faster for any% quitouts as it takes 19 seconds, more than the 12 seconds the normal route takes. This strat is only faster for segmented since the menuing time doesn't count. This trick is also nothing new. I explained it years ago here: youtube.com/watch?v=etT2MFhsqbYEDIT: I've since learned that you can use ALT + F4 to instantly save and exit to menu. During the save, you can press the down arrow twice and begin to spam enter. This will select the load option and begin to reload immediately as you get to main menu. By doing this, this strat IS FASTER for any% with quitouts!
