If you buy in bulk, the price is much lower.So for around 60 bucks you're well on your way to an 8-voice analog poly synth.So why in the heck are manufacturers charging $4000 for their flagship synths? Some charge even more. Because they can.Espen Kraft says NO! The Minimoog has been made for over 40 years. It's the same as ever. No development costs, it's all right there. Put together the components and sell it. Of course, the gold bars inside up the price to over $5000 when you cash it out.Behringer uses chips like this (Coolaudio) in their hardware and their prices is more than a quarter of their competitors. The greed of some companies knows no limits.Your 400 dollars worth of a Eurorack module has electronics components worth 30 bucks inside.
