Also, I tried a blind left on a corner where I had a better view and really trust the car to do it's thing - it did great! Some odd turning behavior when in stop and go traffic on a one way street.

Only one inadvertent disengagement (due light my keeping torque on a jerky steering wheel.) Still some struggles at Washington Square, but great, solid turns and good creeping left turns.

Elon said they made a lot of changes to the code, so for me this was quite a regression. Failed creeping at Pope but did well on other tries in other places. Lots of confusion down Thames street with heavy traffic and pedestrians - seemed very unsure and handled that worse than any other previous attempts. It did a great job at one of the intersections with diagonal traffic that it previously failed.

Camera displaced on hard braking corrects itself, so be patient!! Only improvements I noticed were in diagonal cross traffic, and one area where it used to think it needed to creep. Overall, more aggressive on some turns, which isn’t a good thing in my tight streets in town.

Kim Paquette 2021-09-14 | V10 is much better for me today - still made some of the same mistakes, but here is a portion of the drive where did a great job creeping, and making decisions around construction and parked vehicles. Second time creeping at the end of this video, it slowly peeked around, could go because a car was turning right just before where I was, car behind waited to let me out, and my car decided to go. Perfectly executed.

Kim Paquette 2021-09-13 | Same drive as yesterday on V10, but after recalibration and reboot of car. Car still struggling with creeping behavior, and still does not recognize diagonal cross traffic. I also explain a bit why I disengage when I do. V10 has been great for other testers, but so far, not for me. This happens on different versions - some testers report better drives than others. This time I have the short end of the stick - so far!

FSD Beta 48.35.1 (build 10) 36 minute unedited drive in Newport, RI Kim Paquette 2021-01-19 | FSD Beta build 10 is a huge improvement over previous builds, and works amazingly well on "normal" box store boulevard type roads, but it still needs improvement on the old colonial roads in town. Starting with build 10, my car is having a hard time finding tight left turns that are obscured by adjacent parallel parked cars. Creeping logic is still being tweaked. Many of the turns in town require you to "nose out" or creep to see around an obstruction like a wall or building. Some turns are still hesitant or too slow. It feels like turns need to be decided sooner, and once committed, executed faster.

FSD Beta 48.35.1 (Build 10) unedited 30 minute drive - ONE disengagement. Kim Paquette 2021-01-18 | 30 minutes unedited drive on Build 10 around Newport and Middletown, RI. Overall, build 10 is a huge leap from any previous build. But, areas that need improvement: Yielding logic is still being tweaked. My one disengagement was yielding entering a rotary. My car stopped yielding (and would instead stop) at this rotary starting with build 8. This time, it didn't feel like it was going to yield so I intervened. Creeping logic has greatly improved over previous builds, but still being worked on. Does great on some roads, not on others. Confidence in turning - most turns are great, but sometimes it can be too slow. Still, major improvement over previous builds. One way street recognition still not addressed, so my car tries to drive on the right if there are no lines marking parallel spaces. Seems overly cautious (even more than before) with pedestrians.
