#07: Quest for the Partizan

As a spear lover, and a DEX character in-the-making, I decided to use the Partizan to get through the next chunk of the game. To obtain it, I need to go into the Shaded Ruins and free Ornifex, the crow-beast-smith, and then visit her in Brightstone Cove.

There are a couple of relatively easy bosses in the way, but the real difficulty for me was overcoming the encampment of Falconers while searching for Benhart... those guys are real dicks.

ABOUT THIS SERIES:
This is a casual playthrough where I recreate my favorite old DEX/INT build. The pacing is a bit faster than my usual style; this is not a comprehensive walkthrough, and I will be skipping some items/enemies/sections. I will kill all bosses. I have not played DkS2 since before the release of the third game earlier this year, and in recent months I've been very engrossed in DkS1; this is my revisitation of DkS2, to once and for all gain a proper perspective on all three games in the series.
